Devil Realm Emissary Harth

"Don't come any closer," Ye Chen said to the Devil Realm cultivator.

"Don't come closer? Ridiculous. I'm going to teach you a lesson right now. When that brat Evan Yang finds out, I'll have something to brag about," Harth sneered.

Evan Yang had already sent a sound transmission to Ye Chen. As soon as Harth finished speaking, Evan Yang put Ye Chen into the tower inside the Spiral Shell. Seeing Ye Chen suddenly vanish, Harth laughed, "You want to use a spatial ring to take her away?" "That's right. Now I can fight you without distractions," Evan Yang replied.

"Hate? It's not that simple. He ruined the plans of two Devil Realm Emissaries—one of them is my master. My master said, anyone found outside with ties to Evan Yang must be brought back. There's still some time before we return to the Devil Realm, so you'll be my plaything for now," the man said with a cold laugh.

"Plaything? I'm not your plaything. Don't force me to destroy myself!" Ye Chen snorted coldly.

"Destroy yourself? You? I don't think you have the guts," the man chuckled.

After saying this, Harth closed his eyes. Dark energy slowly appeared around him. Evan Yang was surprised—this was the Ashen-Dark World Barrier. He'd seen it before, but this version wasn't very powerful. Evan knew Harth was just using it to force him out of hiding.

"Ashen-Dark World Barrier? Are these things so common now?" Evan Yang muttered to himself.

As he spoke, Harth reached for Ye Chen. Evan Yang knew his only chance was to strike when Harth's guard was down. Now was the moment—hit him, then escape with Ye Chen.

So as Harth reached out to grab Ye Chen, Evan Yang suddenly launched a heavy attack from behind. But Harth spun around, his hand shooting toward Evan Yang as he sneered, "I've been waiting for you to make a move."

Evan Yang was shocked. After they clashed, he revealed himself, but showed no fear. He just smiled and asked, "How did you notice me?"

Evan Yang moved rapidly, and the attacks couldn't keep up. Harth was shocked—he never expected Evan Yang, a Profound-Immortal, to move as fast as an Emperor Realm expert. His attacks couldn't catch up. "Damn it, I don't believe you can stay fast forever!" Harth snorted.

After that, the attack speed increased, like lasers. Whenever Evan Yang stopped, the artifact would focus its attacks on that spot. Evan Yang was startled and had to move even faster. If he went any faster, he'd have to use Meteor Speed, but that was too risky—it might crash him into the artifact. "No, I have to find a way to break this artifact. If I keep this up, I'll use up too much energy," Evan Yang muttered.

"You—you're Evan Yang?" The man was shocked after hearing Evan Yang's words and seeing his stealth abilities.

"That's right, it's me. Is there a problem?" Evan Yang replied.

"Seems like my luck is great. I didn't expect to run into you here—what a pleasant surprise!" The man laughed loudly.

"Quite a harvest for you. Still, I want to know—who is your master, and why does he hate me so much?" Evan Yang asked, smiling.

"My master? The same one who caused trouble at the last Immortal-Realm Territory War Contest, the one whose plans you ruined! In the end, you even injured a strand of his soul. That's why he told me, anyone related to you must be brought back. Now it looks like I can bring you too—fantastic." The man sneered.

"And who are you, then? A Devil Realm Emissary?" Evan Yang asked.

"That's right. I'm in charge of this Devil-Fiend Well operation. They call me Harth!" Harth said with a grin.

"Harth? Devil Realm Emissary? You can only use half your original strength. Do you really think you can stop me?" Evan Yang asked.

"If we were outside, maybe you'd escape. But here, with her still present, how could you possibly take her away?" Harth sneered.

"Kid, you're too arrogant. Eighth-tier Profound-Immortal, even if I can only use half my power, I'm still at second-tier Emperor Realm. You think you can beat me? That's hilarious." Harth laughed. "Didn't your master warn you?" Evan Yang asked. "He did say you're cunning, but he didn't know you were just eighth-tier Profound-Immortal. I don't get how my master lost to you," Harth said suspiciously.

"Looks like he really didn't tell you anything. In that case, I'm relieved," Evan Yang said with a smile. Then he went invisible and vanished.

Seeing this, Harth waved his hand and sealed the artifact's exit. He sneered, "Hmph, I don't believe I can't trap you. I'll take my time and hunt you down."

Soon, the Ashen-Dark points filled the entire artifact. Evan Yang was inevitably discovered. He appeared and looked at Harth, saying, "Didn't expect you to use the Ashen-Dark World Barrier too."

"Mine is just a simple version. I can't use the complex ones," Harth replied with a grin.

"Your Ashen-Dark World Barrier does have some tricks. But even if I show myself, so what?" Evan Yang said. "At least you can't hide anymore, so now it's my turn to attack!" Harth snorted, then launched an all-out attack. The attacks poured down on Evan Yang like a tidal wave. "Does this artifact have a boosting effect?" Evan Yang was shocked to find the attacks came from inside the artifact. "Kid, I don't believe you can withstand this," Harth sneered.

"Ha! You can't keep it up, can you? If not, just wait to die!" Seeing Evan Yang gradually wear down, Harth laughed loudly.

Evan Yang looked at Harth's position, then at his own movement area. He came up with an idea. He flew around in the air, dodging attacks. The attacks couldn't hit him, so they followed their original trajectory and blasted holes in the ground. Evan Yang was secretly pleased.

Harth, not knowing what Evan Yang was up to, kept attacking wildly. If things got destroyed, so be it—he could just rebuild them later.

But soon, Harth's smile froze. Evan Yang suddenly flashed to another spot in midair, and the attacks followed their original trajectory—right into Harth, just as Evan Yang had calculated.

Harth, controlling the artifact, hurriedly jumped away, but his foot was still a step too slow and got hit. Blood flowed from his foot as he cursed in pain, "Damn it!"

"How does it feel to get hit directly by your own attack?" Evan Yang asked with a smile, seeing Harth injured. "You—you—I'll kill you!" Harth roared angrily, attacking furiously. This time, he wasn't so careless—he put a special shield on himself, as if it was meant to block his own attacks.

The attacks hit Harth like raindrops on a person—barely making a dent. Evan Yang was curious what kind of artifact Harth was using.

But Evan Yang didn't have much time to ponder. "If his own attacks don't work on him, maybe I should try a formation," Evan thought. Since Harth could protect himself, maybe Evan could too. He began setting up a formation while moving.

Soon, a defensive formation appeared. The attacks struck the formation, giving Evan Yang a bit of relief.

"You're truly a remarkable genius—setting up a formation in such a short time. Impressive, impressive," Harth said, frowning as he saw his attacks fail against Evan Yang's formation.

"Thanks for the compliment. The main thing is, your attacks through this artifact aren't as strong as your direct attacks, right? So their power is limited. As long as I use a formation, I can defend myself—just like your shield," Evan Yang replied with a smile.

"Damn it, so that's how it is. Then don't even think about leaving," Harth sneered.

Evan Yang didn't know what Harth meant. Suddenly, the artifact expanded, the space grew larger, and when it stopped, many people appeared inside. Evan Yang swept his gaze around—they were all Devil Realm experts from outside.

"Surprised? I already contacted them. With their help, I doubt you can escape now," Harth sneered.

"If that's how it is, I have no choice but to fight you all head-on," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Fight us? Do you really have that ability?" Harth snorted.

"Don't? Then take a look outside your artifact," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Harth looked outside the artifact and saw two powerful figures destroying the Devil-Fiend Well. The remaining Devil Realm experts couldn't stop them.

"Damn it, you've got helpers!" Harth shouted angrily.

"So, are you going to keep dealing with me, or are you going to check on your Devil-Fiend Well?" Evan Yang asked with a smile.

"Brat, you—you just wait! Everyone, follow me!" Harth shouted angrily.

With that, Harth led the Devil Realm experts out of the artifact, leaving Evan Yang trapped inside.

"Phew, finally some relief. Facing so many Emperor Realm experts at once would really be a headache," Evan Yang muttered.

But Evan Yang didn't give up. He searched for a weak point in the artifact, trying to find a way to break out.

Meanwhile, Harth and his group appeared outside and faced two people whose strength was greater than theirs—since they could only use half their power.

"Who are you people, anyway?" Harth asked.

"Us? We're just here to cause trouble. You don't need to know. But this Devil-Fiend Well is really sturdy—we can't break it no matter what," the Wine Beggar sighed.

"Damn it, if you won't talk, I don't believe I can't trap you. Everyone, take your positions and activate the Devil-Fiend Defensive Array!" Harth knew he had to use the backup grand array for defense.
