In that split second, Ryan Ling felt like the whole world had gone pitch-black. Every last escape route—inside and out—got insta-locked. This wave of Primordial Immortal attacks? Max difficulty. Sure, none of these corpses were as cracked as that final boss Primordial Immortal back in War City, but with so many swarming all at once, even Ryan was sweating buckets!
And right now, running was just not an option. Over a hundred corpses were charging all at once, and the scene was straight-up terrifying. Ryan felt like he was about to get squished into a meat patty, couldn’t even move, barely had room to breathe—heck, even talking was a struggle.
“Brothers, hurry up and save Mr. Ling!” Victor Mao was all loyalty—when things went south, he didn’t just run for his own life. Instead, he rallied every tomb-raider on the spot to rescue Ryan Ling!
Their skills weren’t quite on Ryan’s level, but they’d been in the game for ages—these guys definitely weren’t amateurs. All the tomb-raiders grouped up, hands flying through all kinds of spell seals, each one prepping a special incantation.
“Three Pure Ones Ancestor, arise!” they shouted in unison. Instantly, a giant glowing circle appeared overhead, and from it descended a super badass Daoist—clearly the OG Heavenly Master, dripping with yin-yang boss energy.
As soon as the Heavenly Master showed up, he charged straight at the Primordial Immortal corpses. With a thunderous crash, he blasted open a gap in the wall of corpses trapping Ryan. Finally—a way out! Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second; he dove for the opening, squeezing through with everything he had.
He was still pretty tied up, but hey—Ryan was a mid-stage Da Luo Golden Immortal, way stronger than your average Primordial Immortal. In a blink, he broke free from the danger zone, like clouds parting to reveal the sun, escaping the corpse horde!
Ryan didn’t waste a second—he gulped down a huge breath. Being surrounded by all those corpses had messed up his breathing, the corpse-qi wrapping around him from every direction. Honestly, it was suffocating!
After catching his breath, Ryan was ready to bail from this Mystic Tier tomb. If he was solo, he’d be chill, but now every Primordial Immortal in the whole tomb zone was gunning for him. Even with all his power, there was no way he could tank an assault this massive!
“Go!” Ryan Ling shouted, but just as his voice dropped, he realized Victor Mao and all the other tomb-raiders were totally tangled up in corpse-qi, locked down and unable to escape. These guys had risked their lives just to pull Ryan out!
Seeing Ryan Ling already out of danger, Victor Mao shouted, “Mr. Ling, you’re safe? Awesome! Hurry up and get out—don’t worry about us!”
No way was Ryan just gonna ditch everyone and leave!
Right at this clutch moment, Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second. He instantly started refining the Primordial Immortal corpses stored inside his body—boom! They detonated, and all that Primordial essence streamed straight into his meridians!
In a flash, Ryan’s power skyrocketed. Right now, nothing else mattered—leveling up and smashing these Primordial Immortal corpses was priority number one!
As soon as his strength leveled up, Ryan Ling didn’t hold back—he clenched his teeth, charged forward, and dumped a tsunami of power on the Primordial Immortal corpses!
“Screw it, I’m going all in!” With his power maxed out, Ryan stopped holding back. He gritted his teeth and charged straight in, unleashing a tidal wave of force at the Primordial Immortal corpses!
Breaking out from inside the corpse horde was tough for Ryan, but attacking from the outside? Way easier!
It’s like trying to bust out of a turtle shell from the inside—no chance. But from the outside, one good punch and that shell’s toast!
And sure enough, Ryan’s insane punch worked wonders!
In an instant, the tightly fused Primordial Immortal bodies scattered, and several weaker corpses exploded on the spot!
Ryan Ling didn’t even blink—these corpses were S-tier loot for him. No way he’d let them go to waste! He absorbed them instantly, fusing their power into his own stats.
Just like that, Ryan’s power got another boost. It wasn’t as crazy as before, but his late-stage Da Luo Golden Immortal realm was now rock-solid. If he wanted to hit Da Luo peak, he’d need more time—or maybe if he devoured every Primordial Immortal corpse in sight, he could reach the absolute top!
But there was no time to think—those freaky Primordial Immortals were now going after the tomb-raiders like mad. Ryan was out, but the others were still trapped. Plus, he was getting some bad vibes: this Mystic Tier tomb was way scarier than he’d expected. Clearly, someone had triggered the hidden mechanisms earlier—otherwise, there’s no way the whole tomb would gang up on him like this!
Thinking about it was pointless now. Ryan’s only move was to rescue all his tomb-raider bros ASAP!
He went full throttle, unleashing a wild barrage at the Primordial Immortal corpse ring. With his stats buffed, this time his attack actually landed—finally making a dent!

In seconds, Ryan saved several tomb-raider bros, and a bunch of Primordial Immortal corpses got sucked into his body, turning straight into power-ups. But Victor Mao was still tangled up by some ultra-strong corpse fiends—no way he could break free yet!
“Aah!” Victor Mao screamed—those Primordial Immortal corpses were venting all their rage on him. His flesh was getting ripped apart, like he was getting whipped to shreds. It was brutal!
Ryan didn’t hesitate. He pooled every last bit of strength and launched a totally reckless attack at the corpses, burning through all his reserves—he was fighting for his life now!
In an instant, the whole tomb zone shook like an earthquake—seriously, Richter scale vibes! Even the toughest Primordial Immortal corpses started showing cracks. Ryan’s berserk mode was finally breaking through!
“Let him go! Let him go!” Ryan roared, totally pissed off. The fresh Primordial Immortal corpses he’d just absorbed were instantly ground to powder and merged into his body. With all that chaos swirling inside him, Ryan could feel himself on the verge of breaking through to Da Luo peak!
The Primordial Immortal corpses actually looked stunned—like, was Ryan supposed to be running out of steam? Instead, he just kept getting stronger the longer he fought!
A bunch of corpses finally let go of Victor Mao, but some stubborn ones clung to his leg, clearly trying to drag him down with them!
Victor Mao realized Ryan couldn’t attack freely while worrying about his safety, so he made a brutal call—he yelled and ditched his own right leg, tearing himself out of the corpse pile!
With Victor clear, Ryan finally had his chance. He didn’t hesitate—slammed in with a thunderous attack, and all you heard was a massive boom...
