Corpse Horde on the Move

1/5/2026

As soon as that Primordial Immortal corpse was absorbed into his body, Ryan Ling immediately felt a wave of warmth. Just moments ago, in this icy, bone-chilling tomb, he’d been shivering nonstop—but now, that chill was totally gone!

“Hell yeah, that feels good!” Ryan took a deep breath, his whole face glowing with vitality—inside and out, he was buzzing with excitement!

“Mr. Ling, what a move! We were totally blind just now!” Victor Mao didn’t hesitate for a second—he dropped straight to his knees in front of Ryan, eyes full of awe. It was obvious these guys hadn’t respected Ryan much before, maybe even saw him as dead weight. But now? Total reversal. They were worshipping him.

“No big deal—we’re all on the same team. Here, take this!” Ryan didn’t hold back at all. With a casual wave, he split half the Primordial Immortal essence he’d just absorbed and handed it out. Instantly, every tomb-raider was bathed in Primordial qi. Just moments ago they’d all been shivering, but now everyone’s face was glowing, and the cold didn’t scare them one bit!

“Thank you, Mr. Ling!” All the tomb-raiders, Victor included, shouted their thanks. Before, they’d felt a little timid about entering this tomb zone, but now? Everyone was fired up, bold as hell!

“Big Brother Mao, forget talking—let’s just head straight for the Mystic Tier tombs!” One of the raiders shouted, and a bunch of others immediately joined in.

“Yeah, let’s go straight for the Mystic Tier!”

“Let’s move! If not now, when?”

Ryan’s insane move had everyone around him fired up—the tomb-raiders were practically vibrating with excitement!

“Alright, let’s do this—right now!” Victor Mao was so pumped he couldn’t hold back. Without another word, he led the team straight into the Mystic Tier tombs!

The Mystic Tier tombs were on a whole different level compared to the Yellow Tier. The yin chill here was way more intense, saturating everything inside and out. The tombs themselves were much higher grade too—there were fewer Da Luo Golden Immortal graves, but way more half-step Primordial and full Primordial Immortal tombs. The air was thick with Primordial qi!

“Man, this Mystic Tier is way scarier than before!” A few of the tomb-raiders gulped hard, clearly afraid to look too closely. The whole place just radiated murderous intent.

Ryan could sense an insanely brutal aura lurking in the zone, like something was just waiting to kill.

“Mr. Ling, this Mystic Tier is no joke—we’d better be careful!” Victor Mao warned urgently.

Ryan nodded. Compared to outside, this place was definitely on another level. But he wasn’t worried—no matter how tough the Mystic Tier was, with his current power, he could handle it. It’d just take a little more effort!

He took a few deep breaths, not hesitating for a second. Since they’d made it this far, he was going all in. Ryan shot straight up to hover over the highest point of the Mystic Tier, scanning for a target tomb.

His eyes locked onto a Primordial Immortal grave. Without a moment’s hesitation, Ryan went for it. With a deafening boom, the tomb instantly collapsed. All the burial treasures—tons of top-tier immortal items by normal standards—were pulverized on the spot. For Ryan, they were just side loot, nothing special. The other tomb-raiders were heartbroken watching him destroy such treasures, but Ryan didn’t care; he absorbed everything in a flash.

Right after, a terrifying corpse burst out of the tomb. This one was a mid-stage Primordial Immortal—way tougher than the last zombie!

“Careful, Mr. Ling!” The watchers below were on edge, especially Victor Mao, who was practically shaking. This Primordial Immortal zombie was no joke—way stronger than anything in the Yellow Tier. Ryan was going up solo; it looked risky as hell!

But for Ryan’s current power level, this corpse was still manageable. He unleashed a wild barrage of punches, hammering the Primordial corpse with earth-shaking force. In seconds, the zombie couldn’t withstand the onslaught—its body shattered, breaking into pieces, and its essence poured into Ryan. He immediately felt a massive boost, his whole body itching to break through to the next level!

But Ryan wasn’t about to let himself break through just yet. Leveling up now would be a waste—he had to keep suppressing it, building for that one epic explosion later!

He took a long, steady breath and forced down the urge to advance.

“Mr. Ling is something else. His future cultivation level is gonna be insane!” Victor Mao was watching closely, totally blown away. He’d never seen anyone this strong, able to hold back a breakthrough in the middle of a fight. It was almost unbelievable!

But right then, things took a nasty turn. Smashing that Primordial tomb had pissed off the other corpses—suddenly, the whole Mystic Tier was shaking. All the Primordial Immortal graves started jumping and rumbling. No one had ever seen anything like it!

“What the hell is happening?” Victor’s eyes went wide. He didn’t know what was going on, but it was obviously crazy dangerous—way beyond anything they’d imagined!

Basically, Ryan’s attack had pissed off the entire tomb zone!

All the top-tier corpses in the graves started crawling out!

“Big Brother Mao, this is nuts! Did Mr. Ling break some taboo and trigger a full corpse horde? I’ve only ever read about this in books—never seen it for real!” One veteran tomb-raider went pale, stumbling backward. He’d never seen anything like this!

And it wasn’t just him—even Victor Mao had never seen anything like this. It was pure nightmare fuel!

“Mr. Ling, this is way too dangerous—we need to bail, now!” Victor knew they had to get out, fast. If the corpse horde really got moving, nobody could survive that kind of onslaught!

The sudden crisis shocked Ryan too. He hadn’t expected the Mystic Tier to be so much deadlier than the Yellow Tier—the difference was just insane!

Ryan immediately thought about escaping. With at least a hundred tombs shaking around him, things were seriously dangerous. It was like a hundred top-tier Primordial Immortals were about to gang up on him. Sure, most were mid or late stage, not peak, but even for Ryan that was a lot of pressure!

Even though Ryan had just hit mid-stage Da Luo Golden Immortal, it wasn’t enough. He could maybe take on seven or eight Primordial corpses, but a hundred? No way!

“Go! We’re leaving now!” Ryan knew this wasn’t the time for heroics—he was ready to bail with the rest of the team.

But just then, a powerful corpse shot up from below and bit into Ryan’s thigh! He never saw it coming—a sneak attack from the depths. He was stuck, unable to move, and the other Primordial corpses instantly swarmed in like a tidal wave…
