This Is the Ten Wilds Herbal Codex
However, when she stepped outside, she didn't see a single person.
No Byron White, and no one else either.
Grace couldn't wait to rush back to her own room and locked the door behind her.
Then she dashed straight into the Sanctum Tower realm and headed for the entrance to the Fourth Floor.
Her adorable little companion stuck close to her, eyes sparkling as Grace pulled out the key and stuck it into the keyhole of the Fourth Floor's grand door.
The sound of gears clanking echoed, and the heavy door to the Fourth Floor slowly rose, revealing a pitch-black doorway.
Grace went back to grab a lantern, then stepped inside.
But in the darkness, even the lantern couldn't illuminate anything.
It was just a strange, endless darkness.
Luckily, the stairs were smooth, so she made it up without a hitch.
When she reached the Fourth Floor, the light suddenly flared bright.
Bright as day.
Everything inside was perfectly visible.
Looking at the Fourth Floor, Grace wondered if her eyes were playing tricks on her.
Or maybe her mind was playing tricks on her.
So she walked back out through the door.
Once she was back, it was definitely the Third Floor.
She set down the lantern and walked into the Fourth Floor again.
Same scene as before.
Amazingly, this place looked exactly like the Celestial Library she just left!
Actually, it was like she'd entered the Celestial Library again!
The only difference was, the light seemed a bit brighter than before.
Wait, that's not right!
Grace walked in one direction.
It wasn't just the lighting that was brighter.
There were some other differences too.
At the very back, there was a desk.
When she entered the Celestial Library before, there definitely wasn't a desk like this!
On the desk sat an ink brush, inkstone, paper, and ink.
Right in the center was a book as thick as her palm!
Grace walked over and reached for the book.
But by accident, she brushed against a stack of papers beside it.
The papers instantly crumbled to dust!
"Ah!" Grace yelped and jerked her hand back in fright.
That little shock must've stirred the air, because everything else on the desk turned to dust too.
Only the book in the center remained, glowing faintly in the bright light just like the other books on the shelves.
Grace let out a sigh of relief and picked up the book to take a look.
The cover didn't have a single word on it.
It was just a thick protective cover.
When she opened the title page, she saw five beautifully written calligraphy characters: Ten Wilds Herbal Codex.
"Ten Wilds Herbal Codex! This really is the Ten Wilds Herbal Codex!" Grace's heart pounded wildly, tears of joy streaming down her face.
She opened the book and flipped through page after page.
After searching for ages, she finally spotted the words "Sevenfold Begonia" on one page.
Below it, a line read: Grade Sixteen Phoenix Essence Pill, can cure Sevenfold Begonia poison.
Seeing this, Grace's heart sank.
A Grade Sixteen pill...
She was only a Level Nine Spiritual Alchemist right now—there was no way she could refine it!
She'd have to ask Leon Zane, or maybe her master!
She had no idea if either of them was high-level enough for this.
Next, she looked at the required ingredients, which turned out to be surprisingly simple.
Main ingredient: Phoenix Essence.
Auxiliary ingredient: Heaven's Dew.
Grace was embarrassed to realize she'd never even heard of either of those...
No way—she had to go find Leon Zane!
She needed to ask him what these things were!
With that thought, she left the Fourth Floor and hurried downstairs.
The two ingredient vaults on the Third Floor were still tightly shut, just like before.
When she reached the Second Floor, she noticed the 'East Wilds Jade Map,' which had been covered in a yellow glow, lying on the ground.
She figured unlocking the Fourth Floor must've triggered the reward automatically.
Grace picked it up and opened it. It really was a huge, incredibly detailed map of the mines!
But she wasn't in the mood to look at it right now.
She'd finally found the cure for Sevenfold Begonia, and she had to go find Leon Zane!
