Which Direction Is the Royal Palace

The quickest way to find Leon Zane was, of course, to use a Communication Talisman to contact Shannon.

But just as she took out the talisman, Shannon's urgent voice came through: "Grace! Grace!"

"Shannon, it's me. What's wrong?" Grace replied quickly, sensing her friend's urgency.

"I'm trapped inside a formation! Help me!"

"Okay! What do you need me to do?"

"Behind the palace, count the Spirit Trees—the tenth from west to east, and the tenth from south to north. Get your Beanie sapling to drain its spiritual energy!" Shannon shouted. "You have to do it within half an hour, or I'll die—ah!"

Shannon finished with a startled scream.

"Shannon?" Grace called into the talisman.

"How do I get into the palace? Can you arrange someone to sneak me in?"

But Shannon didn't respond.

"Where's Leon Zane? Should I just go find him myself?"

...

"Shannon? Shannon?"

...

Grace kept calling, but there was no more sound from Shannon's side.

Grace was momentarily at a loss.

Can someone please tell her which direction the Eastern Luo Imperial Palace is?

How was she supposed to get to the Spirit Tree?

Even the Spirit Trees in the Blue Moon Kingdom are protected by powerful arrays.

So, the Spirit Tree planting area in the Eastern Luo Empire... Could anyone just stroll in there?

And then, she remembered her promise to Beanie: she had sworn never to let it harm another of its kind.

Was she really going to break that promise?

Grace hesitated for a few seconds, then made up her mind.

Sorry, Beanie—this time, you'll just have to put up with it!

After all, how could a tree possibly compare to a human life?

Especially when Shannon wasn't just anyone—she'd helped Grace countless times. She was her best friend.

...

She'd been busy with her assessment these past few days and had no idea how Evan Xiao or Henry Tuoba were doing.

She didn't even know where they were.

Time was running out. If she wanted to get into the Eastern Luo Imperial Palace, she'd have to find... Byron White.

Grace gritted her teeth and hurried off to find Byron White.

But he wasn't there.

Luckily, his personal attendant was. He told Grace that something had happened at the palace, so Byron had rushed back.

"What happened at the palace?" Grace asked.

The attendant whispered, "The young Royal Prince is missing! Someone stole him!"

The young Royal Prince was missing...

Grace fell silent for a moment, then turned and ran off.

She borrowed a horse from the Spirit Alliance and headed straight for the palace.

She'd never been to the Eastern Luo Imperial Palace before, but everyone in Sigil City knew where it was—a quick inquiry would do.

But she hadn't gone far before she saw the whole street surrounded by officials and soldiers, all on high alert—the atmosphere was tense.

Among them stood quite a few people dressed in extravagant finery—either royalty or high-ranking nobles.

Byron White was right in the middle of that group.

Could it be that they'd cornered the young Royal Prince and the kidnappers here?

And this spot... was exactly where she'd last seen Leon Zane trailing the beautiful Rina Chu.

Grace straightened her clothes and made sure she looked charming, then walked up to an officer and asked, "Excuse me, sir, what's going on here?"

The officer gave her a second look, pointed to an alley, and said, "Someone's kidnapped the young Royal Prince—he's being held over there!"

"Then why aren't you searching? Why is everyone just standing around outside?" Grace asked, puzzled.

"There's a formation! Several Spirit Talisman Masters are here, trying to break it!"

Grace nodded and flashed him a sweet smile. "Thank you for telling me, sir!"

The officer ogled her, just about to ask her name and which family she belonged to, when Grace suddenly held up her Alliance Token in front of his face.
