Let’s See How You Die This Time

1/19/2026

Evan Chu's sudden appearance didn't make the human powerhouse who was slaughtering Beast Clan cultivators pause at all. He only glanced at Evan before continuing his pursuit of the fleeing Beasts. Evan could understand this—maybe the guy spared him because he saw he was human. But Evan had no intention of letting him go.

With a flash of movement, Evan appeared right in front of the human powerhouse, smiling as he said, "Why go so far as to exterminate every last member of the Beast Clan? Wouldn't it be better to leave them a way out?"

"Kid, are you tired of living? You must be one of the humans from Beast King City, right? I only spared you because you're human, but now you don't know what's good for you and dare to block my way. Since that's how you want it, prepare to die!" the old man snapped angrily.

Evan didn't care about the old man's attitude at all. "Old man, are you confused or what? Who gave you the right to slaughter Beast King City's Beast Clan however you please? Looks to me like you're the one who's tired of living. Aren't you afraid the Beast King will come back for revenge?"

"Hahaha! Kid, you're about to die and still trying to scare me? That Beast King was killed ages ago—did you think I didn't know? Even if the Beast King appeared, I wouldn't fear him. Since the Human Clan's powerhouses dared to come to Beast King City, it means we have the strength to take it. Now I've answered your question—so die!" As he finished speaking, the old man swung his longsword at Evan with lightning speed.

Evan dodged in a flash, instantly avoiding the attack. At the same time, the Frostbane Sword appeared in his hand, and he unleashed Windshift. Countless wind blades shot toward the old man. While each wind blade wasn't as powerful as Star-Cleave, their sheer numbers were overwhelming. Plus, the old man was far too careless, never expecting that the youth before him would be so strong.

The wind blades landed squarely on his body, instantly leaving him with dozens of massive wounds. The most shocking were the two on his neck—his throat was nearly severed by the blades, and blood gushed out like a fountain, making for a truly horrifying sight.

The old human's face twisted in pain and unwillingness. He never imagined that a single move from this youth would take his life. He was a Venerable Martial Realm expert, and Evan was just a Saint Martial Realm 'ant.' He wanted to voice his disbelief, but couldn't get the words out—his life was slipping away fast, and all that awaited him was a painful death.

Even Evan was surprised at Windshift's destructive power—it was strong enough to kill a First-Layer Venerable outright. Sure, it was a sneak attack, but the strength of the technique couldn't be underestimated.

"How does it feel, old man? That's what you get for underestimating me—this is your punishment. Human powerhouses? In my eyes, they're nothing. I risked my life nine times over to kill the Beast King, and you humans have the nerve to swoop in and reap the benefits. You think I'd let you get away with it? Dream on!" Evan sneered.

The old man collapsed, full of unwillingness. Evan Chu didn't leave—instead, he took the man's storage ring, then unleashed Fireshift. A ball of blazing fire appeared in his palm and landed on the human elder, turning him to ash in just a few breaths.

After checking the contents of the storage ring, Evan found nothing of real value—maybe a few hundred thousand Netherstones, some unidentified pills, and some forging minerals. The only thing truly useful to him were two Netherghost Violet Orchids.

At that moment, several Heaven-Piercing Pavilion retainers finally arrived at Evan's side. One of them asked, "Young Master, should we start killing all the Human powerhouses now?"

"Yeah. Kill every Human powerhouse, no matter who they are—don't let anyone off. I worked my ass off to take down the Beast King, so there's no way I'm letting them take advantage. Move fast, we've got other cities to check out," Evan ordered.

And so, a frenzied massacre erupted in Beast King City. The weakest among Evan's followers were Second-Layer Venerables, so the Human experts left in Beast King City couldn't put up a fight. In just half an hour, all Human powerhouses were killed. Evan left two retainers behind to handle post-battle affairs.

He himself headed out with the Yang Family head and others for another city about three thousand li from Beast King City—Bloodsea City. The destruction of Beast King City naturally reached Bloodsea City's lord, who was shocked that anyone would dare wipe out the Beast Clan capital. But, realizing the huge gap between his own strength and the Beast King's, he chose to endure and stay put.

Bloodsea City's lord was named Warren Bao—a Nether Leopard whose strength had reached about Fourth-Layer Venerable, making him a top expert among the Beast Clan. But when Evan's group arrived at Bloodsea City, they found the place ravaged by war: buildings smoldering, smoke rising everywhere. It was clear the city had just endured a catastrophe.

Without a word, Evan charged straight in, killing any Human expert he saw—man, woman, young or old, none were spared. He didn't even know why he'd become so bloodthirsty; half his blood was Human, yet he could kill so ruthlessly. Maybe it was his other half's bloodline making him lose control.

Evan became a killing machine. Having witnessed Windshift's power, his wind blades were constantly reaping Human experts' lives. It didn't take long before he'd killed about half the Human powerhouses occupying Bloodsea City. Blood was everywhere—staining the streets, soaking the ground—turning the city into a true 'sea of blood.'

"You've gone too far, kid! How dare you slaughter Human powerhouses!" An aged voice rang out, and an old man with white hair appeared before Evan, his face twisted in fury.

"Old man, you must be the strongest Human expert left in Bloodsea City—a Fourth-Layer Venerable, right? Looks like you've already killed Warren Bao, which saves me a lot of trouble. I'll give you a chance: kill yourself and die with some dignity. If I do it, I'm afraid you won't even leave a corpse." Evan smiled, his face showing utter disdain.

The old man had never met such an arrogant youth before—someone so brazenly disrespectful. Furious, he snapped, "You've talked enough. Today, your grandpa's sending you to the afterlife!" With a flash, he lunged at Evan, cold light gleaming on his fingertips—clearly a master of lethal finger techniques.

Evan dodged easily; in terms of speed, the old man was no match for him. If Evan wanted to avoid his attacks, it was almost effortless. Right now, he was considering how best to kill the old man.

Seeing the youth dodge his attack so easily, the old man was stunned. He had to admit he admired Evan's speed. If someone like him were trained by the Human King, he'd be a promising seedling. But Evan had slaughtered too many Human experts—the Human King would never accept him. The old man laughed, "Kid, your speed's impressive. Now let me show you my spatial domain!"

When Evan heard the old man was about to unleash his spatial domain, he couldn't help but feel excited: "Let's see how you die this time!"
