She Might Be the Future Crown Princess
"How can we come up with a way to get Colin Gu to visit the Zhu Estate again?" Leon Zane tapped his hand thoughtfully. "Has anyone in the Zhu family had a birthday recently?"
"I've already checked. The closest one is Grace—her birthday's in March."
"She's just a kid—if the Emperor came for her birthday, it'd be a bit..." Leon Zane frowned. "What about the old madam? When's her birthday?"
"That's not until later this year..."
As they were discussing, a servant came in and said, "Grace requests an audience."
Leon Zane suddenly stood up, his eyes blazing with anger. "Tell her to get lost! Go out and tell her I never want to see her again!"
"Cousin, what are you doing?" Bianca Whitefan stopped him.
"You don't know what a troublemaker she is!" Leon Zane said. "She... she..."
"What did she do to you?"
"Anyway, I'll never forgive her as long as I live!" Leon Zane declared.
"But honestly, I think the best way to get Colin Gu into the Zhu Estate is to talk it over with her! After all, she's family—she knows the ins and outs better than anyone." Bianca Whitefan said. "Just like last time, you racked your brains trying to get Colin Gu to stay, and she managed it without even trying."
The important thing comes first.
Leon Zane finally calmed down a bit, taking several deep breaths before saying with a dark expression, "Let her in."
"Yes, sir!" The servant left.
"Cousin, can you not act like this? Who knows, she might be the future Crown Princess!" Bianca Whitefan shook her head.
"If she ever becomes Crown Princess, I'll do a striptease at her coronation!" Leon Zane sneered.
Bianca Whitefan burst out laughing, "Deal! I'll remember you said that!"
......
When Grace entered and saw Bianca Whitefan, her eyes instantly lit up.
After she explained why she was there, Leon Zane asked sarcastically, "Don't you know how to divine yourself? Why are you coming to Bianca for help?"
"Every time I do a divination, it takes me a month to recover my energy," Grace admitted, using her old excuse. "Tenner is my milk brother. Please, can you help me find him?"
"Sure!" Bianca Whitefan stood up before Leon Zane could say anything. "I can help. First, go get something like a hair or personal item from him and bring it to me."
Grace immediately sent someone back to Tenner's room and brought back a few strands of his hair.
Bianca Whitefan placed the hair on a rune talisman, then used her own blood to draw a mysterious symbol on it.
Then she stuck it onto the divining compass.
"Follow me!" Bianca Whitefan led her out of the Imperial Advisor's manor and headed into the city.
Leon Zane hadn't wanted to go, but worried about Bianca's health, he muttered something under his breath and tagged along anyway.
This time, they went in a direction completely opposite from where the search dogs had gone.
But they hadn't gone far before Bianca Whitefan started sweating profusely, her head spinning.
"Bianca, what's wrong?" Grace exclaimed, alarmed.
Bianca Whitefan shook her head. "Divination drains spiritual power way more than other magic. I'm fine—just need a little rest."
Grace felt guilty and, still worried, took Bianca's wrist to check her pulse.
Thankfully, nothing was seriously wrong—just as Bianca said, her spiritual power was overdrawn.
But there was something else... Lillian Lee?
She'd once checked the pulse of that imperial concubine Lillian Lee in the palace, and that steady, even pulse had left a deep impression.
And Bianca Whitefan's pulse was exactly the same.
Grace looked at Bianca, raised her brows, and asked, "Is that face of yours a disguise? Lillian Lee?"
