Grace Wan's Family Home
At these words, Bianca Whitefan and Leon Zane both looked at her in surprise.
Grace pointed to her wrist, "I've checked Consort Li's pulse before."
Bianca Whitefan chuckled, "Your pulse reading skills are sharp! You could give my senior brother a run for his money."
Grace glanced at Leon Zane, "Him?"
"That's right! He's actually a spiritual pharmacist! And a really powerful one, known as—"
"Fan, why are you saying so much?" Leon Zane shot Grace a warning look. "Don't go telling anyone about Fan's business!"
"No, no, Imperial Advisor, don't worry!" Grace said. "I know how important your secrets are!"
Leon Zane snorted, "Hmph!"
"Fan, your disguise technique is absolutely genius!" Grace couldn't help but gush. "It's so perfect—no one would ever know it's fake!"
"It's not me, it's my senior brother," Bianca Whitefan laughed, pointing at Leon Zane.
"Oh?" Grace looked at Leon Zane with curiosity.
Leon Zane shot her a sideways glance, then crouched down and used a Dragon Clan technique to draw the surrounding spiritual energy over.
Bianca Whitefan soon felt much better, so she continued forward, following the divining compass.
After a few stops and starts, Bianca Whitefan finally halted outside a mansion and said, "He's inside this estate."
Grace's eyes turned icy cold.
This was the Wan Estate!
Grace Wan's family home.
"So? Should we just barge in? Or call the authorities?" Leon Zane asked.
"If we push them, they'll destroy the evidence," Grace frowned. "Saving him comes first—we'll have to sneak in quietly."
"How do we sneak in?"
Grace looked at Leon Zane, raising her brows.
Leon Zane's expression changed, "Don't even think about using me again!"
"Imperial Advisor, don't worry, this time you don't have to sacrifice your looks. I just need those magical hands of yours."
"Get lost!"
"I mean for the disguise."
"Second condition!"
"Deal!"
......
An hour later, Grace checked herself out in the mirror, glanced at the unconscious Wan family servant next to her, and grinned at Leon Zane. "Imperial Advisor, this is honestly the most reliable thing you've ever done since we've met."
Leon Zane gave her a sidelong look.
"Alright! I can handle the rest myself. Could you guys go notify my dad?" Grace said. "The Wan family needs to answer for what they've done—my dad should know!"
"Okay, be careful," Bianca Whitefan said.
"Eric, let's go," Grace said to Eric Chen beside her.
Once they met up, Eric Chen brought out a Wan family servant.
Once they'd met up, Eric Chen brought out a Wan family servant.
Then, after knocking out the servant, Grace disguised herself as the servant and swaggered into the Wan Estate with Eric Chen.
According to Eric Chen, there had been some strange activity at the Wan Estate these past few days.
If Tenner really was at the Wan Estate, he'd be in the underground chamber.
After nightfall, he led Grace to the area near the entrance to the underground chamber.
The entrance to the underground chamber was extremely well hidden.
There were several burly guards stationed there.
Still, with the Wan family's reputation, they couldn't attract any truly skilled spiritual practitioners.
The people standing there were just ordinary folks. Grace dealt with them easily, then told Eric Chen to keep watch outside while she went in alone.
It was the dead of night. No one was guarding the underground chamber, just a tiny lamp burning inside.
In the pitch-dark basement, that tiny lamp illuminated everything clearly.
She spotted Tenner immediately.
He lay on a wooden plank, covered in whip marks and burns, his fingernails bloody.
Grace hurried over and checked his pulse. Thankfully, he was alive.
She carefully moved Tenner into her space, fed him top-grade spiritual medicine, and prepared to leave the underground chamber.
Just then, her gaze was drawn to a strange stone altar.
