There were eight men in black, each clad in black combat gear, helmets on their heads, alloy staffs in hand.
The moment Hugh Xu saw their outfits, his face changed dramatically. "Little Lu, they're all wearing anti-laser combat suits—your laser won't work. Put the gun away!"
After warning Ian Song, Hugh Xu strode forward. "Who are you people? Don't you know attacking police is a serious crime?"
One of the men raised his alloy staff and pointed at Ian Song. "Officer, we're after the kid behind you. If you know what's good for you, you'd better leave now. Otherwise, don't blame us if you get caught up in this!"
How dare you! Do you even realize what you're doing...?
The man interrupted Hugh Xu impatiently. "Enough, officer. Cut the crap. You have ten seconds to get lost, or don't blame us for being ruthless!"
"You're with Red Sun Nightclub, aren't you?" Ian Song stepped out from behind Hugh Xu and asked.
"Don't say that, Little Lu!" Hugh Xu scolded, knowing that exposing their identity now wouldn't help.
"What's this officer talking about? We don't understand." The leader of the black-clad men sneered, then looked at Hugh Xu. "Time's up, officer. Are you leaving or not?"
"Listen, attacking police is a serious crime. You can still leave now, but once our reinforcements arrive, you'll have no way out!" Hugh Xu said sternly.
"Ha! By the time your backup gets here, you'll already be dead. Attack!"
As soon as he finished speaking, seven men swung their alloy staffs and charged straight at Ian Song and Hugh Xu.
Other than the leader, who was a ninth-level Warrior, the rest included three eighth-level Warriors and four seventh-level Warriors.
