Evan Yang vanished before everyone’s eyes. Lucia Heartless and Buddha Dust were shocked—what was going on? Where had Evan gone? The scene fell silent, with no sign of Evan anywhere. The Four Sovereign妖尊 and the Alliance Leader were also curious about what had happened.
"Dad, do you think something happened to him?" Yang Min asked anxiously.
"No. He’s not someone who would die so easily," Yang Ming replied immediately. The Wine Beggar also believed Evan wouldn’t sacrifice himself so quickly, so he figured Evan must have used some method to suddenly disappear.
Just like that, Evan suddenly disappeared in front of everyone, leaving them confused. Lucia Heartless frowned and shouted into the air, "Evan Yang, are you really that timid? Afraid to come out?"
Lucia Heartless sensed it and immediately turned around, swinging Buddha Dust, but Evan vanished again.
His rapid departure stunned Lucia Heartless, who couldn’t figure out how Evan managed it. In reality, Evan was relying entirely on the Pen’s Spirit for close-range shuttling, so there was no time to react, making it a crucial tactic in battle.
Because Evan relied on the Pen’s Spirit, Lucia Heartless set up a barrier around herself. If Evan entered, she would sense it instantly. With this setup, Evan found it nearly impossible to approach Lucia Heartless, so he stopped outside the barrier.
Seeing Evan stop, everyone had questions—how was he vanishing like that?
"How did you do that?" Lucia Heartless asked.
"That’s a secret, so I won’t tell you." Evan Yang replied with a smile.
"If you won’t say, then I’ll make you talk." Lucia Heartless snorted coldly, and the barrier instantly surrounded Evan.
Inside Lucia Heartless’s barrier, Evan could sense its terrifying power. With a thought, Lucia turned the interior into mud, leaving not a single gap for Evan. Evan wrapped himself in Earth-Rock Aegis, so the mud posed no threat, but Lucia wasn’t stupid—she quickly solidified the mud, trapping Evan inside.
Although Evan couldn’t sense what was happening outside the mud, he could guess something was up. After all, the mud had turned into solid stone—Lucia Heartless must have had a purpose for that.
"Damn it." Evan knew that stalemating with Lucia Heartless wasn’t going to work. He only had one option left, so a sword appeared in his hand. Before the Earth-Rock Aegis was completely shattered, Evan’s sword had already gathered its power.
The terrifying aura from Evan’s sword made everyone around tremble. The Four Sovereign妖尊 had seen it before, so they weren’t surprised, but the others were shocked.
Before using the sword, Evan had already instructed the Four Sovereign妖尊: once he attacked, they were to protect him immediately, since he’d be at his weakest after expending all his power.
So Evan said farewell to the Alliance Leader, then headed to the Yang family with the Four Sovereign妖尊 and Sovereign Frost.
On the way, Evan chatted and laughed with Wine Beggar and the others. None of them asked about the Four Sovereign妖尊 directly, but Sovereign Frost and his group had heard of them, so they treated Evan with great respect.
Lucia Heartless suffered the worst—one of her arm bones was broken, blood streaming down, and her strength was greatly reduced. Still, she stared at Evan and sneered, "I never thought I’d lose to you."
"That was my last attack," Evan said.
"Is that so? Then go die!" Lucia Heartless swung Buddha Dust at Evan, aiming to kill him. At that moment, the Four Sovereign妖尊 moved—one flashed in front of Evan and blocked the attack.
After chatting for most of the day, Evan let his family stay inside while he and the Four Sovereign妖尊 went outside to stroll around the planet.
"I never expected you to have four helpers. No wonder you were so confident. Still, don’t think you can destroy me—Evan Yang, I’ll remember you. Just wait. And as for Sovereign Frost and the Heaven-Cold Seed, I will get them next time. Don’t forget to tell me when they show up." Lucia Heartless snorted.
"Trying to leave? Not a chance!" Sovereign Eagle shouted, stepping forward to capture Lucia Heartless.
Lucia Heartless sneered, "Try to catch me? You’re not qualified." With that, she suddenly vanished, leaving behind a cloud of smoke.
This sudden turn of events left everyone baffled—what just happened? But the Alliance Leader figured it out and exclaimed, "She can use that move too? Truly a genius."
Evan knew the Alliance Leader must have recognized something. After capturing the other two Immortal Sovereigns, he brought them to Sovereign Frost for handling and asked the Alliance Leader, "What was that just now?"
"That was the Heartless Dao’s teleportation technique. Using it costs at least tens of thousands of years of cultivation. But since she’s been an Immortal Sovereign for so long, losing that much isn’t a big deal for her. Still, this teleportation art is extremely hard to master—I never expected she’d actually learn it," the Alliance Leader replied.
"So that’s what it was," Evan said with a frown. He knew that letting her escape was like releasing a tiger back into the wild.
"In the end, she’s still a menace," the Alliance Leader said, clearly worried.
"Forget it, let’s not talk about her for now. She’ll need time to recover before she dares show herself again," Evan said.
"Right. Looks like we need to have a proper discussion, especially with these four friends here," the Alliance Leader said with a smile.
Evan exchanged a glance with the four妖尊. After spending some warm moments with his family, he followed the Alliance Leader and others to the house where the Alliance Leader was staying. Meanwhile, Sovereign Frost had already dealt with the other two Immortal Sovereigns.

"Uncle, what did you do with them?" Evan asked.
"Take a look," Sovereign Frost said. Yara Lowe brought out a vase, revealing two more souls inside. They were the souls of the three Immortal Sovereigns, now trapped and staring hungrily at Evan. Evan ignored them and let them remain sealed in the vase.
The Alliance Leader looked at Evan, then at the four妖尊, and smiled. "Evan Yang, you’ve brought me hope."
"Alliance Leader, tell me—what do you need me to do?" Evan asked, knowing that the situation between the Immortal Realm and Devil Realm was critical, with the gate already open. He had to step up.
"Leave this to me," Evan said decisively.
In the past, the Alliance Leader would have refused, but now he knew Evan had the four妖尊 with him. With their combined strength, ordinary Devil Realm people wouldn’t pose a threat—as long as they didn’t encounter the Overwhelming Devil Sovereign, things would be fine.
"Thank you so much. Could you introduce these four friends to me?" The Alliance Leader asked, curious since he’d never seen them before.
"They’re my friends—not fond of talking, so please forgive them," Evan replied with a smile.
The Alliance Leader nodded. "Alright, I won’t ask further. I’ll leave this matter to you. I’ll find a way to open a tunnel so you all can enter the Devil Realm."
"Thank you," Evan said.
"This trip will be dangerous. You have three days—take care of anything you need to in that time. After three days, I’ll have everything ready, and I’ll open a passage for you in the formation," the Alliance Leader said.
"Alright. If you need anything, just come to the Yang family and find me," Evan replied. He planned to spend these three days at home, since he was, after all, a Yang. His parents couldn’t hide forever—it was time for them to reunite.
So Evan said farewell to the Alliance Leader, then headed to the Yang family with the four妖尊 and Sovereign Frost.
On the way, Evan chatted and laughed with Wine Beggar and the others. None of them asked about the four妖尊 directly, but Sovereign Frost and his group had heard of them, so they treated Evan with great respect.
Soon, Evan arrived at the planet where the Yang family lived. In a house on the planet, he released his parents.
When Yang Lin and the others appeared, it undoubtedly added to the excitement. Sovereign Frost saw his sister and smiled as well.
"You’re all safe—that’s all that matters!" Yang Ming said joyfully. It was his happiest moment, since Evan had defeated many powerful Immortal Sovereigns alone. Evan’s strength rivaled theirs, something the Yang family had never had before. And Yang Lin, his beloved son, was also safe. Seeing his loved ones brought him true happiness.
After chatting for most of the day, Evan let his family stay inside while he and the four妖尊 went outside to stroll around the planet.
"What’s your plan?" Sovereign Eagle asked, knowing Evan must have had a reason for calling them out.
"In a few days, I’ll head to the other side. This time, the challenges will be many—the Devil Realm is invading, and experts abound. So I want to ask, are you willing to go with me, or would you rather stay here?" Evan never treated them as servants, so he wanted their opinion.
Evan’s words made them feel even closer to him—at least he didn’t treat them as subordinates. Sovereign Eagle grinned, "No matter what, wherever you go, I’ll follow."
"Me too," added Sovereign Tiger. Sovereign Wolf agreed as well. Yara Lowe smiled, "It’s only fun following you. We barely got to fight this time—our hands are itching. You did all the work yourself."
