An Idle Person

At this question, everyone looked toward Sean Shaw.

Sean said, "I was worried Lucia might run into trouble, so I came."

"The trouble's already been solved. You can go back now!" Ethan Lu said.

"I... I'll wait until they go back together." Sean pointed at Lucia and her siblings.

"Fifth Highness, I'm afraid Lucia can't return to the Palace Guard Barracks anymore," Quentin Lian said. "I'll speak to His Majesty the Celestial Emperor."

Sean glanced at Lucia.

Lucia nodded sadly. "I really can't go back! Lian-Lian, Ryan, you two go back to the barracks with Fifth Highness."

"Sis! Why can't you go back?" Lian-Lian asked anxiously. "His Majesty never said you had to leave!"

"Silly Lian-Lian! The Palace Guard Barracks is an ultra-sensitive military zone. With my identity, no matter what I do, I'll never earn anyone's trust again," Lucia said. "Leaving is the best choice."

Seeing their gloomy faces, Lucia tried to cheer them up. "I'll make delicious food and send it to you guys regularly!"

"Sis... If you're not going, I don't want to go either..." Ryan said.

"You don't have my kind of special situation, so don't quit halfway," Lucia said. "Be good! Listen! Go on! When you get back, help me and the Moonlit Flood-Dragon handle our withdrawal paperwork."

So, the three of them returned to the Palace Guard Barracks.

Even the baby Moonlit Flood-Dragon kept whining about wanting to visit Azure Flame and Baxa.

Lucia glanced at him and nodded.

Not long after they left, Palace Guard soldiers came to report to Quentin Lian that the Spirit Barrier outside the Dragon-Coiling Heavenly Gang Grand Array had made a ringing sound.

"How about I take you to the Spirit Alliance in the New Divine Realm? There are tons of places to explore!"

Lucia went along with him.

So she went to the Spirit Alliance in the New Divine Realm.

Lucia called inside, but there was no response.

With a new place to play, the Moonlit Flood-Dragon stopped pestering about Azure Flame and Baxa.

With nothing else to do, Lucia remembered Adrian Drake's poison, and decided to help him find a cure if possible...

"But... how could that be?"

"Don't worry, in this world, no one can hurt her. She's definitely not in any danger."

Lucia was really worried about her, but there was nothing she could do.

...

The Celestial Emperor approved her withdrawal from the barracks. From then on, Lucia was no longer a busy Divine General—she became an idle person.

This kind of life was actually pretty comfortable.

She slept in every day, did whatever she wanted, and never had to listen to Divine Lord Tanya Quinn yelling ever again.

But after a while, she started missing the Palace Guard Barracks.

She missed Divine Lord Tanya Quinn's beauty, missed the Celestial Emperor's dry humor, missed the camaraderie of her fellow soldiers training day and night.

And... she missed Sean.

Even though she talked to him every night, it only made her miss him more.

Even the baby Moonlit Flood-Dragon kept whining about wanting to visit Azure Flame and Baxa.

The two of them exchanged pitiful glances and sighed at the same time.

"Mama!" the Moonlit Flood-Dragon called, "I've explored every nook and cranny of Peach Blossom Haven already. Take me out to play!"

"How about I take you to the Spirit Alliance? The New Divine Realm has tons of places to explore!"

"Okay, Mama!"

So she went to the Spirit Alliance.

The New Divine Realm was a magical place, totally different from the Three Divine Realms.

With a new place to play, the Moonlit Flood-Dragon stopped pestering about Azure Flame and Baxa.

With nothing else to do, Lucia remembered Adrian Drake's poison, and decided to help him find a cure if possible...
