You Look More Like the Bastard

"That's right! That's exactly what our Divine Father taught us!" Suddenly, Ryan Lu spoke up coldly from the side. "Before we came to Drake Abyss, my father told us: if you become a Palace Guard, you must be brave, fearless, and law-abiding. Tell me, Third Prince, is that wrong?"

"Hmph! Arrogant brat!" Prince Asher Xiao's face darkened. "Today, I will teach you a lesson and show you what dragon-royal dignity really means!"

With that, a fierce hurricane suddenly swept toward the three Lu siblings.

It was the crushing force of a High God. Both Luna Lian and Ryan Lu’s expressions changed instantly.

Lucia Lu summoned Entwined Heart, ready to play it.

Although she hadn’t ascended to High Goddess yet, her cultivation was exceptionally high—even most low-tier High Gods weren’t her match.

Just then, a flash of red light shot over, shielding the three Lu siblings in the center.

And then, bizarrely, the hurricane bounced back, sweeping Princess Quinn Xiao away and slamming her hard into a tree.

"Quinn!" Prince Asher Xiao’s face changed dramatically.

Sean Shaw teleported in front of Lucia Lu, greeting Asher with a cool nod: "Third Brother."

"Pah!" Princess Quinn Xiao scrambled up from the ground, cursing, "Sean Shaw, you bastard! You don’t deserve to call us brother and sister! How dare you fight back against Third Brother? What the hell are you? You—"

"Quinn Xiao." Lucia Lu cut her off coldly. "In my eyes, the dragon clan is supposed to be the most noble, courteous, and self-disciplined of all divine races. But judging by the way you just insulted the Fifth Highness, I see not a shred of a Drake Abyss princess's upbringing in you! Honestly, you look far more like the real bastard here."

"You—" Quinn Xiao was so furious she nearly fainted.

"Also, I've had Luna record everything since you two arrived." Lucia Lu said. "Ryan, would you mind inviting His Majesty the Celestial Emperor over?"

Luna Lian waved the Clarity Charm in her hand.

Quinn Xiao and Prince Asher Xiao’s faces both changed at once.

Quinn Xiao pointed at her angrily, shouting, "Lucia Lu! If you've got guts, stop running to my Imperial Father every time!"

"Oh, I’ve got guts. I can skip calling His Majesty the Celestial Emperor." Lucia Lu replied. "So? What do you plan to do now?"

"I..." Quinn Xiao stomped her foot. "Third Brother!"

Prince Asher Xiao took a deep breath, then suddenly forced a smile and pointed at Lucia Lu and Sean Shaw. "Fine! This round, you win! But the days are long—don’t get too comfortable!"

No one said a word.

Prince Asher Xiao left, taking Quinn Xiao with him.

The Divine Guard Code at Drake Abyss really does treat everyone equally—even the Celestial Emperor’s own children get punished if they break the rules.

Darren Xuan frowned, offered a distant salute, and followed after them.

"Absolutely outrageous!" Ryan Lu slapped his own thigh in anger. "Those two—where’s their refinement? They act just like common bullies!"

Lucia Lu frowned and bowed to Sean Shaw: "Thank you, Fifth Highness."

Sean Shaw was silent for a moment, then said, "I’ll report this to Imperial Father. I doubt they’ll dare stir up trouble again anytime soon."

Lucia Lu nodded and asked, "Does she always insult you like that?"

From what she’d seen, it had already happened twice.

Last time, at the Derivation Hall in the Sea of Regret, Quinn Xiao had started cursing Sean Shaw the moment she saw him.

Sean Shaw didn’t say anything.

"Sorry, I didn’t mean to pry—" Lucia Lu realized she might have crossed a line.

"Yes." Sean Shaw stopped her. "Every time she sees me, there’s not a kind word or a friendly look. Not just her—Asher Xiao’s the same. When I was a kid, Asher used to beat me—beat me half to death."

"They’re all blood siblings—how can they be so cruel!" Ryan Lu said furiously.

"Well, he can’t beat me anymore." Sean Shaw said.
