Once the seal closed, the Strange Alchemist and the Poison Alchemist both revealed strange expressions.
"What are you planning?" Evan Yang asked, seeing the Strange Alchemist and the Poison Alchemist standing before and behind him, smiling.
"What do you think? Kid, I’ve waited a long time for this opportunity. No matter what, today you’re dead." said the Strange Alchemist.
"Strange Alchemist, do you really think you can take me down like this?" Evan Yang sneered.
"Pill-Refining Marvel, aren’t you supposed to be special? Today we’re going to take you down, just watch," the Strange Alchemist snorted.
With that, the Strange Alchemist prepared to attack Evan Yang, but Evan raised his eyebrows, dodged aside, and said, "You really plan to make a move?"
"That’s right," said the Strange Alchemist. The others glanced at each other, as if it was their private matter and didn’t concern them. Evan looked at them and smiled, "Whoever helps me block the Strange Alchemist, I’ll share the recipe for a god-grade pill."
At these words, greed flashed in the eyes of the crowd. For alchemists, nothing was prouder than refining a god-grade pill—and it would fetch a huge price.
Someone spoke up, "Are you serious?"
"Of course it’s real," Evan Yang said.
The Strange Alchemist snorted, "Anyone who helps him is making an enemy of me."
Evan Yang laughed again, "Everyone wants a god-grade pill, right? Opportunities like this are rare—hope you’ll help me out."
Evan’s repeated temptation made someone step forward and say, "Alright, I’ll help you."
The Strange Alchemist was furious, "Blade Ghost, get out of my way, or I’ll deal with you too."
"Strange Alchemist, do you really think I’m afraid of you? You’re Heavenly Dao, and so am I. I don’t believe you can wipe me out," Blade Ghost sneered.
Hearing this, the Strange Alchemist was furious. But since he was closer to Evan Yang, he rushed at him without another word. Evan, already prepared, dodged again and moved next to the helper, laughing, "Block him for fifteen minutes and I’ll give you a recipe."

Furious, Gavin White rushed out. By the time she reached the outside, half an hour had passed. She arrived at the seal and saw a crowd lined up, fighting the Strange Alchemist. She frowned, but seeing Evan Yang unharmed, she relaxed.
At this point, the Strange Alchemist was nearly exhausted. After battling several people, he had drained much of his power. If this continued, he might not even be able to fight Evan Yang. That was exactly what Evan wanted—he hoped the Strange Alchemist would keep burning energy until Gavin White appeared. When the helper’s turn ended, Evan Yang smiled, "Strange Alchemist, since you’re so eager to fight me, I’ll grant your wish."
Hearing this, the Strange Alchemist was delighted. "I thought you were a coward."
"Is that so? Let’s see," Evan Yang smiled.
Gavin White had already guessed Evan’s tactics, so she didn’t rush out. She stayed behind the seal, watching the situation outside.
Under everyone’s gaze, Evan Yang and the Strange Alchemist began fighting. The match was evenly matched, overturning many people’s assumptions. The Strange Alchemist was frustrated—not only was Evan Yang unharmed, but he was getting stronger, which was beyond anything the Strange Alchemist had imagined.
The Poison Alchemist watched nervously from the side. In his eyes, Evan Yang was simply a monster.
After dozens of rounds, Evan Yang forced the Strange Alchemist to one side and laughed, "So this is your idea of revenge?"
"Damn you—!" The Strange Alchemist was furious.
Just then, Gavin White called from behind the seal, "Help me unlock the seal!"
The Medicine King Heaven disciples quickly gathered and, working together, opened the seal. Evan Yang relaxed when he saw Gavin was safe. Gavin stepped out and faced the Strange Alchemist. "You put this inside, didn’t you?"
"What? I don’t know what you’re talking about," the Strange Alchemist stubbornly denied.
"Don’t deny it. This pill has your aura. You put it in there to fake an incident in the forbidden land, draw me away, and then attack him—right?" Gavin White’s anger grew as she spoke.
"Say whatever you want. You’d rather trust an outsider," the Strange Alchemist snorted. The others knew the truth, but kept pretending.
Seeing his attitude, Gavin White grew even angrier. "Fine, let everyone else see for themselves."
With that, Gavin White showed the pill to everyone and recounted the Strange Alchemist’s actions. Anyone could see it was his doing.
Without another word, Gavin White stepped up to the Strange Alchemist, raised her hand, and struck him hard. Having already exhausted much of his power, the Strange Alchemist’s body broke down under the blow and he screamed in agony.
"Do you know what the forbidden land represents? You dared to trick us with something like this. This is just the beginning of your punishment. Next, you’ll be sent to Medicine King Heaven’s pill prison. Unless you repent, you’ll never get out," Gavin White declared.
"Why? Why?" The Strange Alchemist cursed, sweating profusely.
"Because you tampered with the forbidden land," Gavin White said. She also had her own motives—she wanted to help Evan Yang eliminate future threats, so she crippled the Strange Alchemist, making it hard for him to recover quickly, and imprisoned him to make escape even harder.
The others simply thought the sect master was angry and punished him.
They didn’t realize it was for Evan Yang’s sake. The Strange Alchemist was dissatisfied but powerless. Soon, the Left Guardian arrived and took him away.
The Poison Alchemist kept quiet, afraid to get involved. Gavin White addressed the crowd, "Anyone who jokes about the forbidden land again will face even harsher consequences."
Gavin White left angrily, while those who got pill recipes were delighted. Those who didn’t were disappointed. The Poison Alchemist hurried back to his room, pretending nothing happened.
"You seem pretty angry," Evan Yang said, seeing Gavin’s mood.
"Of course I’m angry. Damn it, I just don’t get how he managed to get that pill inside," Gavin White said suspiciously.
"What are you getting at?" Evan Yang seemed to sense something.
"It takes several people to open that seal—you saw it yourself. Even if I was inside, I couldn’t open it alone. So I’m really curious how he managed to get that pill inside," Gavin White said.
"Looks like there’s more to this story," Evan Yang said suspiciously after hearing Gavin’s words.

Evan Yang and Gavin White returned to the sect master’s rear hall. Treated as an honored guest, Evan was given everything he wanted. Waiting there was dull—he wondered if Brandon White had received the message yet.
About half a day later, Evan Yang said to Gavin White, "I want to go for a walk outside."
"I’ll go with you," Gavin White said. Evan shook his head, "This is Medicine King Heaven. If you follow me everywhere, people will start to misunderstand."
"Let them misunderstand if they want," Gavin White replied.
