Ever since the Void Gate was unearthed, Divine Lord Tanya Quinn had stationed people to guard it.
Then one day, the divine soldiers discovered that an image had appeared on the Gate.
It wasn't painted on.
Instead, it protruded from the stone itself.
They immediately reported it to Southcourt Palace.
Divine Lord Tanya Quinn then summoned Sean Shaw and Lily Bai to go inspect it together.
Sean delayed his troop mobilization and went with Lily Bai.

Azure Flame had been shamelessly loafing around Radiant Palace and refused to leave.
At first, Soren Lann tried to drive her away.
But eventually, he got tired and just let her stay.
That day, Soren suddenly told Azure Flame to take him to the Void Gate.
"Why do you suddenly want to go over there?" Azure Flame asked, confused.
"There's something abnormal happening there. Let's go check it out."
"How do you know something's wrong over there? Who told you?"
"Don't ask. Just take me! The Crown Prince and Divine Lord Tanya Quinn are already there."
"Once we're there, if the Void Gate really opens, you better not break your promise!" Azure Flame said.
"Mm. I won't go back on my word," Soren replied. "Unless you can actually open it first."
"Let's go!" Azure Flame said, still suspicious, but took him anyway.

When Lily Bai and her group arrived, they found that a pattern had indeed appeared on the Gate.
And that pattern looked almost exactly like what Lily Bai saw at the bottom of Primeval Abyss Gorge.
Big and small spheres, some marked with flames and some without!
"That's it!" Lily Bai said excitedly. "What I saw at the bottom of Primeval Abyss Gorge looked just like this! It was like a starry sky."
Divine Lord Tanya Quinn went over and touched, pressed, and sensed around, then said, "There's no mechanism here."
Then Lord Noctis, Sean Shaw, and the others also checked, but couldn't find anything unusual.
"I think this must be a revelation sent from the other side of the Gate," Lord Noctis said, stroking his chin. "What do you all think?"
"A revelation? Did anyone actually figure out what it means?"
Everyone shook their heads.
"Lily, you're the only one who's ever been down there. Can you interpret what this pattern means?" Divine Lord Tanya Quinn asked.
Lily Bai shook her head, reached out to touch the raised stone, and said, "I have a bad feeling about this."
"What kind of feeling?"
"Maybe we should head back," Lily Bai said. "If we open this Gate, who knows what could happen!"
"We came all this way—why leave now?"
"I can't really explain. It's just a Rune Master's intuition," Lily Bai said. "And this time, it feels really unlucky."
Everyone exchanged glances. In the end, it was Lord Noctis who said, "If a Rune Master's intuition says so, we'd better trust it!"
He supported Divine Lord Tanya Quinn, gently shielding her belly: "Safety first."
So everyone headed back up to the surface, arriving in the desert.
Just then, Azure Flame and Soren Lann flew down.
The two groups met up, and Lily Bai asked what they were doing there.
Azure Flame replied, "We heard something strange was happening here, so we came to take a look."
"I didn't notify you! How did you know about this?" Divine Lord Tanya Quinn looked at Lily Bai.
Lily Bai said, "I didn't tell them either!"
Sean Shaw shook his head and looked at Azure Flame.
Azure Flame turned to Soren Lann: "Divine Lord, how did you find out?"
"Why are you all so curious about that?" Soren Lann answered coolly. "Shouldn't we be more concerned with the Void Gate itself?"
After a pause, he added, "Crown Princess, I heard you went down into Primeval Abyss Gorge?"
