Evan Yang naturally understood what White Moon meant, and he also knew that they couldn't leave right now. Only by finding that man could they discover a way out.
So the two of them moved toward the source of the aura. Meanwhile, the man Evan Yang had restrained was automatically teleported away upon entering this place. Now, he lay in a quiet area, with two silver-armored men standing beside him.
One of the silver-armored men asked, "What happened to you?"
"Senior Silver Ten, there were two people, a man and a woman. They're very strong. That man did this to me and left me unable to move," the man replied.
The man addressed as Silver Ten frowned and said, "Oh? Is that so? Where are they now?"
"I lured them to the place designed to deal with outsiders, then I was automatically sent back here. But I still can't move," the man answered.
"Wait a bit. After that guy finishes them off and brings them here, I'll have him undo it for you," Silver Ten said.
The man was overjoyed. "Thank you, Senior Silver Ten."
Silver Ten turned to the other man and asked, "Silver Nine, what do you think?"
The other man—Silver Nine—said, "So there are two who aren't afraid of death? Let them struggle inside for now. We'll see what happens when they come out."
Silver Ten nodded, then sent a message to someone. The recipient replied, "Don't worry, they've already entered. I'll deal with them properly."
Evan Yang and White Moon had no idea what was happening. They continued to approach the aura step by step. When they arrived, they saw a pool, and above it, a middle-aged man was sitting suspended in midair, a zither resting on his chest. The instrument emitted a faint purple glow.
When White Moon saw the zither, she frowned and said, "Isn't that the Purple Zither?"
"Oh? I didn't expect you to recognize it," the man opened his eyes and smiled.
"Of course I've heard of it. But this zither has been missing for a long time—how did it end up in your hands?" White Moon asked curiously.
"That's simple. Its owner died, so naturally it ended up with me. And in my hands, it can unleash even greater power," the man replied with a smile.
"Enough small talk. Tell us how to get out of here," Evan Yang said calmly.
"Kid, you're just an Immortal Sovereign, yet you dare shout at me? You're dead. But before you die, let's have you dance a little." The man sneered, and the Purple Zither began to play.
White Moon was alarmed and called out to Evan Yang, "Guard your mind! Don't let the zither confuse you!" But before she finished, Evan's limbs started moving uncontrollably.
Evan Yang hadn't expected the zither's music to be so terrifying. White Moon tried to intervene, but another wave of sound targeted her. She immediately guarded her mind, but could only watch helplessly as Evan danced freely.
"Kid, how does it feel? Isn't dancing fun? After you're done, I'll let you really enjoy yourself. Once that's over, you can kill yourself." The man laughed, as if he'd already mapped out Evan Yang's death.
Although Evan Yang's limbs weren't under his control, his mind remained clear. He considered how to break the sound's control. The most direct method was to counter sound with sound, but this Purple Zither seemed to have quite a background. Curious, Evan sent White Moon a sound transmission: "What exactly is this Purple Zither?"
Seeing Evan Yang was still clear-headed, White Moon was delighted. She replied via sound transmission, "The Purple Zither is one of the divine artifacts. It can confuse the mind, even make people do things against their will."
"Got it," Evan muttered, planning to wait for the right moment to strike when the opponent let his guard down.
The zither player had no idea what Evan was thinking and laughed, "That's enough. Go over there and strip your companion's clothes off."
White Moon was shocked, and Evan hadn't expected the enemy to be so vile. But for now, he could only follow orders and wait for a chance to fight back.
Evan slowly walked toward White Moon. Even though she knew he was faking, her heart still raced with anxiety.
Evan's hand touched White Moon's shoulder, preparing to help her undress. White Moon sent a sound transmission, "Are you really going to do this?"
"Just keep him fooled for now. When his music stops, hit him immediately. I believe you can do it," Evan said.
White Moon felt her face burning, but resisting the music left her unable to move. She replied via sound transmission, "Okay."
Following the man's commands, Evan Yang continued to touch White Moon bit by bit, but inside, his power was already circulating, and his body began turning a faint green.
Seeing Evan's body change, the man sneered, "You really are something. Most people would blush from embarrassment or excitement, but you turn green. What a weirdo."
Just as he finished speaking, Evan Yang smiled and said, "That's because it's to deal with you." With that, he erupted with power and instantly broke free from the man's control. Evan realized it was his Demon-Ward Eight Arts taking effect, making him immune to the strange, confusing music. So as soon as he broke free, he counterattacked—producing five zithers, combining their power, and striking directly at the Purple Zither.
The sudden change shocked the man—he never expected Evan had been pretending all along, waiting for him to drop his guard. Evan's attack landed on the Purple Zither, temporarily knocking it from the man's hands. White Moon could move again and immediately unleashed her strongest strike, blasting the man away just as he reached for the zither.
With a flash, Evan grabbed the Purple Zither and laughed, "Now that you don't have this thing, how are you going to fight us?"
"Damn you, how dare you trick me?" the man roared in anger.
"It's called strategy. Besides, you're seriously injured and without the zither, you can't possibly be our match. Be smart—tell us how to get out of here and hand over the pass token," Evan said.
"Dream on! Don't think you've beaten me just like that. Even if I'm badly hurt, I know this place inside and out. I can teleport away anytime—like right now. Goodbye." The man snorted, then vanished in a flash.

White Moon was shocked, while Evan Yang frowned and muttered, "This place really is bizarre."
"Weird or not, we still have to find him first. If we don't, we'll be trapped here again," White Moon said.
"He disappeared from here just now. Let's check it out," Evan Yang said.
White Moon nodded, and the two of them went to where the man had vanished. There, Evan found a hidden teleportation array. After some study, he and White Moon passed through it.
On the other side, they entered a new labyrinth. Here, they couldn't sense the man's aura, and found many other teleportation arrays—it was a world of endless teleporting.
"This really is a labyrinth. Without an insider, there's no way out," Evan Yang said with a frown.
"If that's the case, let's just force our way through. I don't believe we can't break these formations," White Moon said after thinking for a moment.
Evan Yang nodded slightly. "Alright, let me look for the weak points in these arrays."
White Moon watched Evan Yang with curiosity while he studied the formations.
Meanwhile, the gravely injured man was teleported several times and finally ended up beside the two silver-armored men.
"What happened to you?" Silver Nine asked.
"Sirs, those two are no ordinary opponents—even the Purple Zither couldn't control them," the gravely injured man said.
"Silver Ten, it seems we underestimated those two," Silver Nine said to Silver Ten. Silver Ten nodded, "Looks like it's time for us to step in."
"No choice—we're the ones responsible for this place's security," Silver Nine said with a smile.
Silver Ten smiled, then disappeared along with Silver Nine. The two acted like perfect partners, clearly not taking Evan Yang and White Moon seriously.
When they arrived at Evan Yang and White Moon's location and saw them attacking some formations, Silver Ten frowned, "You two, can't you calm down?"
Suddenly, a voice rang out. Evan Yang and White Moon looked curiously at Silver Ten and Silver Nine. Seeing their silver armor and powerful aura, White Moon asked, "You must be the main members of the Cross-Mark Legion, right?"
"That's right. I didn't expect this young lady to recognize our Cross-Mark Legion. What a surprise," Silver Ten said with a smile.
"I've heard that all the main members of the Cross-Mark Legion are Heavenly-Dao experts. It seems that's true," White Moon added.
"You know so much about us? Does that mean you're ready to surrender?" Silver Ten smiled at White Moon.
"Not at all. Even so, we'll still fight," White Moon said to the two, and Evan Yang added, "That's right. No matter how strong you are, we'll fight."
"Then you're just asking for trouble. Since that's how it is, let us send you on your way," Silver Ten said.
Silver Nine nodded, and the two locked onto their targets—Silver Ten on Evan Yang, Silver Nine on White Moon. Naturally, White Moon was worried about Evan, since he couldn't possibly match a Heavenly-Dao expert.
Evan Yang felt immense pressure. Compared to the last time he faced the Pill-Crafting Monster, he knew there was a gulf between himself and Heavenly-Dao experts. Meeting such power again, the pressure was overwhelming.
Silver Ten wanted to toy with Evan Yang. He released his aura to suppress Evan and smiled, "Kid, I can paralyze your whole body just with my aura. Do you believe it?"
"But what if I'm not paralyzed? What will you do then?" Evan Yang asked with a smile.
"If you're not paralyzed, I'll let you go. How about that?" Silver Ten replied confidently.
"Really?" Evan Yang asked.
"Of course. When have I, Silver Ten, ever gone back on my word?" Silver Ten said with a smile.
"In that case, bring it on," Evan Yang said with a smile. Silver Ten looked at Evan and sneered, "You overestimate yourself." Then he unleashed an even greater aura to suppress Evan.
While fighting Silver Nine, White Moon kept worrying about Evan Yang, afraid something might happen to him. Her eyes kept darting over to check if he was still alive.
