Meeting Bianca Whitefan Again

"Our Sigil Sect archives have her portrait!" Faustin looked utterly enchanted. "White robes, fresh as a lotus rising from water—her aura is at once cool and fiery, righteous and wicked. Honestly, she’s so stunning it’s almost supernatural!"

"You’re not wrong," Lucia Lu laughed. "Alright, if you want to go, come with me."

Faustin was so happy he nearly bounced. "Hahaha! I knew something good was coming today—the magpies were singing this morning, and now I see why!"

Lucia Lu shook her head and said to Ian Yan and Adrian Drake, "You two should come too. Who knows if you’ve got any weird talismans stuck in you as well."

Both of them nodded together.

Back at the Spirit Alliance, she explained the situation to Quentin Lian.

As soon as Quentin Lian heard someone had planted a powerful talisman in her body, he immediately agreed to let them in.

Lucia Lu had been inside several times before, so she knew the way and strolled in without a care.

But the other three were a lot more nervous.

Especially Ian Yan, who kept glancing around and muttering, "Lucia, you said she’s gentle and kind—is that for real? Isn’t she a demon? Aren’t demons supposed to be scarier than Lord Noctis?"

"Will you hush!" Lucia Lu snapped. "We’re already inside and you’re still talking—aren’t you worried she’ll hear you?"

Ian Yan shut his mouth instantly, not daring to make a sound.

Back at the cavern entrance, Lucia Lu bowed respectfully. "Senior Bianca, I’m sorry to disturb you again!"

Ian Yan, Adrian Drake, and Faustin all bowed along with her.

Bianca Whitefan slowly opened her eyes, her gaze settling on them.

"Senior Bianca, someone’s put a talisman in my body." Lucia Lu said. "Even the Sigil Sect Leader couldn’t remove it. I came today to ask for your help—do you think you could get it out for me?"

Bianca Whitefan said nothing.

Ian Yan snuck a peek at her, only to find that she seemed to be looking straight at him.

"Ah!" Ian Yan sent a voice transmission. "Lucia! I swear she’s looking at me! What if she heard what I said earlier and wants to kill me?"

"Shut up!" Lucia Lu was getting nervous herself, took a deep breath, and bravely called out, "Senior Bianca?"
