"Yes, yes, yes... huh?" Adrian Drake looked completely confused.
Why did that sound... so awkward?
What do you mean, 'while you can still laugh'?
"This is the Son of King Hades, Ian Yan," Lucia Lu added, making introductions.
Bianca Whitefan looked at Ian Yan and nodded at him: "You'll make a fine King Hades one day."
Ian Yan was so nervous, it took him ages to squeeze out a response: "...Thank you, Senior, for the compliment."
"The three of us got tracked when we were together. I was worried they might have some invisible talisman on them that we missed, so I brought them here too, hoping you could check for us, Senior."
Bianca Whitefan nodded.
"And him as well," Lucia Lu added, gesturing to Faustin. "He's the Young Master of the Sigil Sect, Faustin. He wanted to meet you, so I brought him along."
Bianca Whitefan looked at Faustin and suddenly smiled: "So, why did you want to meet me?"
His idol spoke to him!
Wh-when I was little, I read about you in the Sigil Sect archives! I always thought you were amazing! And so beautiful! Now that I've seen you in person, you're even more beautiful than the portraits! I could die happy today!
"Really? Looks like we have a bit of fate between us." Bianca Whitefan said, pulling out a small cloth bundle. "Here, this is for you."
Faustin looked at Lucia Lu, confused.
Lucia Lu nodded at him.
Faustin reached out and took the little cloth bundle. When he opened it, he found a book inside.
The cover read: Coiling Dragon Array Secret Canon.
His knees went weak and he dropped to the ground: "Th-this... this..."
The Sigil Sect records said Senior Bianca was unmatched in Coiling Dragon Arrays.
Even two hundred thousand years ago, no one could compare.
And now she’s just handing him a secret manual like it’s nothing?
Does this mean... she wants to pass it down to him?
"Go ahead and take it! I just wrote it for fun when I was bored," Bianca Whitefan said.
Faustin pinched himself, hard.
Ouch... That actually hurt...
"Aren’t you going to thank Senior Bianca?" Lucia Lu prompted him.
"Th-thank you... Senior!" Faustin stammered, sounding totally dazed.
Bianca Whitefan smiled, then turned to Lucia Lu. "They're both fine. Only you have a talisman on you!"
Lucia Lu asked, "Do you know what kind of talisman it is?"
"Nothing special! It's just a combo: an Invisibility Talisman, a Tracking Talisman, and a Clarity Charm all fused together. The creator’s got talent—but compared to Rui’er, they’re nowhere near."
Rui’er? Who’s that?
Could she mean the legendary Emperor Ray Quinn, the master of talisman creation?
Nobody said a word.
Her seniority is just... off the charts. It feels like we’re not even worthy to talk to her...
Bianca Whitefan extended a slender, pale hand, faint black mist swirling around it, and made a gentle grasping motion in front of Lucia Lu.
A barely-visible talisman was instantly plucked out of Lucia’s body.
In her hand, the talisman lost its invisibility and became fully visible.
Everyone was inwardly amazed.
She really is something else!
The Sigil Sect’s master had exhausted himself and still couldn’t touch the talisman, but Bianca just grabbed it like it was nothing.
Instead of handing the talisman back to Lucia, Bianca gave it to Faustin. "Study it well."
"Thank you so much, Senior!" Faustin hurriedly accepted it.
He felt like he was fate’s favorite child today.
"Do you have any blank talisman paper?" Bianca Whitefan asked him.
"Yes, yes!" Faustin quickly handed her a sheet with both hands.
Bianca took it, grabbed Lucia’s hand, pricked her finger, drew a talisman on the paper with her blood, then sent it into Lucia’s body.
