Earl Field appeared just as the evening sky was ablaze with sunset.

Such a tall beauty stepping out into the glow of the sunset—what a gorgeous sight!

Rona Muir held up a freshly grilled skewer, watching Earl Field walk over, and couldn't help but praise, "The Field Family may have wrecked their genes with generations of inbreeding, but you have to admit—they sure are good-looking."

Jiro Hirayama gave Rona Muir a sideways glance. "I could always get a transplant."

Rona Muir shivered, instantly picturing a patchwork Jiro Hirayama assembled from handsome men around the world.

The mental image was way too much—she couldn't handle it.

"Of course, I'm just saying. You know me, I only like the originals—anything artificial just isn't my thing. See my chest? Totally original." Rona Muir quickly explained to Jiro Hirayama, wearing a friendly smile.

If she didn't explain herself, she was really worried this crazy guy would actually try it!

For a scientific maniac—and a biochemical expert at that—human transplants are basically child's play.

Jiro Hirayama's gaze landed on Rona Muir's chest. After a moment, he nodded in agreement, "Definitely original..."

She had already come to terms with it.

She would no longer be saddened by such things. As long as it was something good for Miles Gu, she would see it through to the end, no matter what!

"I'm glad you've come to terms with it," Earl Field said. His voice was truly pleasant, especially when he spoke in a low tone—it was enough to make anyone swoon. This was one reason why Earl Field was so popular in England.

He was handsome, well-built, and, most importantly, wealthy and influential.

Even if noble titles weren’t as dazzling as they once were, Earl Field was truly rich!

A family with such a long legacy—if they weren’t wealthy, it would be a joke!

America has only a little over two hundred years of history, but the Field family’s history goes back even further than the founding of the United States.

It’s just that the Field family made a questionable decision in later generations—not only did they marry within the family to preserve their bloodline, they did it for several generations without interruption.

If it had only been one or two generations of intermarriage, maybe it wouldn’t have been so bad.

But four or five generations in a row married within the family—if there hadn’t been any problems, it would have been a miracle.
