Healing Hands Restore Spring

Grace's eyes widened in shock. "So soon?"

"It's not me who's fast, it's them who can't wait any longer," Henry Tuoba said coolly. "Especially Colin Gu."

Grace said nothing.

"When are you going back?"

"It'll be a few more days," Grace replied. "I still have some things to take care of."

Henry Tuoba nodded. "Come on, get in the carriage. I'll give you a ride back to the city."

He pointed to the carriage not far away.

Grace hesitated for a moment, then shook her head. "I'll go back on my own."

Evan Xiao wouldn't let her ride in the same carriage with another man.

Henry Tuoba's gaze darkened. "Alright then. I'll be off!"

Grace nodded.

She watched the carriage disappear into the distance, lost in thought for a long while.

Henry Tuoba had told her that in July, Blue Moon Kingdom would be erased from the continent.

When that time comes, who knows what kind of chaos will break out...

......

After being confined at Spirit Alliance Mountain for several days, Grace returned to the city—only to find Bobby's parents had arrived.

They'd already gone to see Duke Zhao and his wife, making their intentions to divorce clear.

But Duke Zhao's wife refused them with a tone as sharp as a knife.

"The Lady said: 'Do you think the Duke Zhao Mansion is just any place? Our family's hundred-year-old reputation can't be ruined by her!' Bobby mimicked the Lady's dramatic eye-roll perfectly. 'If she really wants to leave, fine! We'll give her a divorce paper and kick her out! Divorce by mutual agreement? Not a chance!'"

A 'divorce paper' meant the woman had done something wrong and was being thrown out of the house!

A mutual divorce usually means the husband's family is at fault, or both sides share the blame—and it often involves splitting up the property.

"So what did your mom say?" Grace asked.

"My mom said she's taking it to court. They've already written up the complaint and filed it at the magistrate's office."

Mrs. Yuan was tough as nails—Grace wasn't surprised at all.

She nodded. "That's exactly what you should do! But..."

"What?" Bobby asked.

Grace thought for a moment, then shook her head. "It's nothing, it's nothing. Go ahead and fight the case—I'm sure you'll win!"

Bobby nodded vigorously.

Grace didn’t rush back to the inn. Instead, she went out and bought a whole bunch of medical gear.

When she left the inn again, she was already dressed as a traveling healer.

She wore a long robe, a cloth cap, and carried a striking banner with four bold characters: 'Healing Hands Restore Spring.'

She’d even outlined the word 'Spring' to make it pop—no one could miss it.

Then she set up shop right outside the Prime Minister’s Residence.

It wasn’t long before Quentin Shaw, the Prime Minister of Vermilion Bird Kingdom, came out.

Most of the subordinate kingdoms modeled their government system after the Empire.

So, the three most powerful officials in Vermilion Bird Empire were the Grand General, the Prime Minister, and the Grand Chamberlain.

The Grand General commanded all the troops—he led the charge, expanded the borders, defended the nation. He was the top military officer.

The Prime Minister oversaw the livelihood of the people, the census, ceremonies, officials, and public works—he was the highest administrative officer.

The Grand Chamberlain managed all matters related to Spirit Masters—anything involving them fell under his jurisdiction.

Quentin Shaw was Vermilion Bird’s top administrator, in charge of everything from food and salaries to promotions and infrastructure.

The moment Quentin Shaw stepped out, he spotted Grace waving her giant banner right outside his gate.

Those four big words—'Healing Hands Restore Spring'—were impossible to miss.

Healing Hands Restore Spring!

And she’d made the word 'Spring' stand out so much!

No one in his house was even sick!

A wave of irritation surged up, and Quentin Shaw turned to the guards at the gate and barked, "How do you do your job? You let any random person wave banners at my front door now?"
