I Just Think the Time Is Not Long Enough

"Prime Minister, the main road is outside our gates. I can't control who stands on the public street!" replied the gate guard.

"Excuses! Get rid of her! Get rid of her!" Quentin Shaw waved irritably.

Seeing this, Grace gave Quentin Shaw a slight smile and rasped, "Prime Minister, I'm here specifically to wait for you."

Quentin Shaw glared at her. "Wait for me? Who are you?"

"Boss Yu from Springwell Apothecary sent me," Grace said discreetly.

At the mention of Springwell Apothecary, Quentin Shaw's eyes flickered. "Boss Yu?"

Grace beckoned him over with a wave.

Quentin Shaw stepped down from the front steps and came over to Grace.

Grace leaned in and whispered, "I may not have many talents, but I'm best at treating premature... you-know-what and, well, certain male issues!"

Quentin Shaw gritted his teeth and growled in a low voice, "Who the hell are you calling... impotent?"

Grace blinked innocently and said nothing.

"I just think... it doesn't last long enough," Quentin Shaw added after his outburst.

"Oh!" Grace nodded, pulled out a pill from her pocket, and handed it to him. "Try this first! Guaranteed satisfaction!"

He eyed the pill in Grace's hand suspiciously. "It's not poison, is it?"

Grace gave a deep, knowing chuckle. "Of course you should test for poison before taking it!"

Actually, Quentin Shaw was heading out to Springwell Apothecary at this very moment.

Yesterday, he'd acquired a delicate new concubine, but ended up leaving her rather disappointed.

Naturally, he was even more frustrated himself.

Which explained his bad mood.

Springwell Apothecary specialized in secret remedies, and as dusk approached, he was tempted to pay them another visit.

Who would've thought someone would deliver it right to his doorstep...

"This medicine is made from extremely rare spirit herbs. No side effects, only benefits—the more you use it, the better it is for you," Grace added.

"Really?" Quentin Shaw was tempted.

"Night's almost here, so go ahead and try it. Just dissolve it in water and drink. You'll know if it works soon enough," Grace said.

"How much?" Quentin Shaw asked.

"We'll talk price tomorrow morning," Grace replied. "I'm staying at the Southern Inn. Come find me in the morning."

Quentin Shaw raised an eyebrow and glanced at her. "Do you know what happens to people who try to trick the Prime Minister?"

"I've never thought about it," Grace said with a smile. "Because I never lie."

"Hmph!" Quentin Shaw smirked, tucked the pill into his sleeve, and went inside.

His attendant followed him, worried. "Prime Minister, that person is a stranger. You shouldn't trust them so easily!"

"What do you know!" Quentin Shaw gave a knowing smile. "She obviously needs something from me, so she wouldn't dare harm me."

"Really? Where does it say that? All I saw was 'miraculous healer' written on her sign!"

Quentin Shaw smacked him on the back of the head and went inside.

Grace returned to the inn, still in her healer's outfit, waiting for Quentin Shaw to find her in the morning.

He was definitely going to love that medicine.

After all, she'd crafted it especially for him in her previous life.

Quentin Shaw wasn't a bad guy—he just had a hobby of collecting beauties.

His backyard already boasted a dozen stunning women, each with their own charm—his harem was even more impressive than Emperor Tuoba Hong's.
