Don't Avoid Me

Upon hearing that Elder Conrad had passed away, he was overwhelmed with grief and rushed to Conrad Manor, hoping to see him one last time.

Unexpectedly, upon arrival, he discovered that Elder Yan's poisoning had already been cured, though he remained in a deep sleep.

He then used his unique acupuncture technique and spiritual medicine to awaken Elder Yan, who quickly regained his vitality.

Falcon’s investigations are never wrong.

After all, there was more than just Sophie Sun in the Blue Moon Spirit Alliance.

Falcon figured out exactly what happened, how Grace barged into the Spirit Alliance and confronted Winston Wu, and got to the bottom of it all.

Under those circumstances, there was no way Grace could have bribed Winston Wu.

The Alliance Master personally assessed Grace, finding her exceptionally talented—her first-place win was well deserved.

So, the Alliance Master ruled that Grace should be admitted into the Spirit Alliance.

Elder Conrad personally handed her the Alliance Badge.

On this day, she officially became a member of the Spirit Alliance!

Lily Xu, who once stood equal to Joanna Zuo as Chief of the Six Departments—just below the Deputy Alliance Master—was stripped of all her positions.

She was reduced to an ordinary member, lost an entire year’s Spirit Alliance benefits, and was sentenced to a month of confinement...

When Grace left Spirit Alliance Mountain, she was practically skipping.

She finally made it into the Spirit Alliance...

Next, she had to focus on her cultivation, break through to Spirit Master level, and unlock the other floors of the Ancient Tower. Maybe then she could save her mom...

She didn’t skip far before stopping.

Because up ahead, at a secluded bend in the road, stood two people.

One was a tall man in a black cloak, wearing a black veil and hat—his face completely hidden.

Beside him was a boy dressed as a servant—none other than Felix Zeng, Emperor Henry Tuoba’s personal eunuch.

Grace jogged over, grinning. "Your Majesty, what are you doing here?"

Henry Tuoba lifted the black veil, revealing a dazzlingly handsome face with a smile. "Waiting for you."

"How did you know I’d be here?"

"If I want to know, I’ll always find out," Henry replied.

"Hehe..."

For some reason, Grace remembered what Colin Gu had said to her: "If you care enough, you’ll always know."

"Why didn’t you come find me when you arrived?" Henry asked.

"Well... It was Alliance business... And I didn’t come alone, so it wasn’t convenient."

"Excuses. You’re just afraid to see me," Henry said with certainty.

Grace: "..."

"Grace, don’t hide from me," Henry said. "Even if I can only watch you from afar... I still want to see you."

Grace opened her mouth, wanting to say "I’m sorry," but the words got stuck in her throat.

He really didn’t seem to want to hear that...

Seeing her purse her lips, hang her head, and tap her toes like a guilty child, Henry smiled. "Seeing you so happy just now, I guess you’ve finally cleared your name?"

"Mm!" Grace pulled out her Iron Membership Token from her Sanctum and proudly showed it to Henry.

Henry laughed, "Who would’ve thought joining the Spirit Alliance would be so much tougher for you this time around."

Grace nodded in agreement. "It was definitely a wild ride."

...

After chatting for a while, Henry said, "I actually came to tell you something important."

"What is it?"

Henry stepped closer and whispered a few words in her ear.
