So Angry I Could Vomit Blood

Earlier, the spiritual power within her body had suddenly gone berserk and needed to be suppressed immediately. That was why Morgan Shangguan had unceremoniously kicked Damien Gray out. In truth, for her, this was a trivial matter, but because she acted so swiftly, Damien Gray didn't even have time to figure out what was happening!

Morgan Shangguan didn't have time to explain, only throwing out, 'I'm fine!' before slamming the door shut with a loud bang, which made Damien Gray even more worried!

The reason Morgan Shangguan drove Damien Gray away was completely because he always acted recklessly. She still remembered the time she fell off the cliff. Though this was just a minor incident, suppressing the chaotic power inside her would still be painful, and she certainly didn't want Damien Gray to do anything unpredictable again!

It wasn't that she didn't want to subdue that power sooner, but Ethan Gray and Roxy Shangguan's abilities had far exceeded her expectations. One would be manageable, but with both together, even her considerable powers couldn't risk acting rashly. She had been waiting for the right moment!

After calming Damien Gray, Morgan Shangguan spoke with a hint of mischief, 'Ghostmaster, have you forgotten there are still guests inside the Ghost Guild?'

Damien Gray raised an eyebrow and smiled, 'Then let's go pay our respects to Fortress Lord Qin and see how he's adapting to life in the Ghost Guild!'

Qin Yan was troubled and somewhat angry. He had originally thought Ghostmaster kept him in the Ghost Guild for protection, but after these few days, he realized that rather than protection, he was being held under house arrest.

At this moment, the Ghost Guild was his only hope. He didn't dare offend the Ghostmaster, but anyone under house arrest would be in a foul mood. Moreover, Qin Yan was the master of Qin Fortress—such treatment was infuriating. He couldn't meet with the Ghostmaster, nor learn anything about the outside world. Now, he felt utterly cut off, surviving alone in a crack between worlds, not knowing what fate the next moment would bring.

Still, he wasn't worried about being deceived by the Ghostmaster. He knew clearly that if Ghostmaster truly wanted Qin Fortress, it would be an easy matter—there was no need for such elaborate schemes. Perhaps in the past, Ghostmaster might have worried about the righteous factions joining forces, but after the martial arts conference, everyone understood that even united, they couldn't do anything to Ghostmaster. He had nothing to fear from anyone!

Thinking this way, Qin Yan felt at ease, but he seemed to forget that Ghostmaster's only condition was Qin Fortress. Besides that, he hadn't made any other demands. If Ghostmaster didn't want Qin Fortress, why help him at all? And if he did, wasn't all this help just unnecessary?

Perhaps it was the sheer strangeness of the situation that made it so perplexing, or maybe it was his own anxiety—Qin Yan simply hadn't considered this at all!

Seeing Damien Gray appear, Qin Yan hurriedly asked, 'Ghostmaster, how did it go?'

Damien Gray casually pulled Morgan Shangguan into his arms, found a chair, and sat down, speaking in a calm voice, 'I've already arranged for someone to take over Qin Fortress.'

Hearing this, Qin Yan's heart sank and his face grew more despondent. Although this was the condition they'd agreed upon long ago, seeing the thing he valued most fall into someone else's hands was still unbearable.

Even as he tried to comfort himself, he couldn't hide the exhaustion and resentment on his face. 'What about the Cloud Guild?' he asked.

'Cloud Guild?' Damien Gray raised an eyebrow, looking a bit puzzled.

Qin Yan's heart skipped a beat, a sense of dread creeping in. He anxiously reminded, 'Ghostmaster, you promised to help me deal with the Cloud Guild!'

Compared to Qin Yan's agitation, Damien Gray was utterly at ease. His fingers gently traced Morgan Shangguan's cheek as he replied unhurriedly, 'Don't worry, Fortress Lord Qin. My word is my bond—if I promised to avenge you, I will see it through.'

Qin Yan relaxed a little at this, but couldn't help asking, 'Then when does Ghostmaster plan to deal with the Cloud Guild?'

A strange glint flashed in Damien Gray's eyes as he slowly spoke, 'I'm very busy right now—do you want me to deal with the Cloud Guild, or with the Guildmaster? Pick one, Fortress Lord Qin.' Busy? Heaven knows how decadent he's been these days!

'Pick one?' Qin Yan couldn't help but frown. Was there any real difference?

Damien Gray ignored his confusion, still holding Morgan Shangguan close, inwardly sighing that days like these were the best. He only hoped those two little troublemakers wouldn't come out too soon!

Even with his languid demeanor, and that captivating face half-hidden, his irresistible charm was undeniable. Of course, at this moment, Qin Yan had no interest in appreciating it!

Morgan Shangguan couldn't help but curl her lips in amusement. This sly fox had perfectly calculated Qin Yan's mindset. Hopefully, Qin Yan wouldn't be driven to death by anger!

Offering Qin Yan a token sympathy with little sincerity, Morgan Shangguan rewarded Damien Gray with a sweet kiss. Clearly, she was very pleased with his approach. Since Qin Yan had offended her, she was more than happy to see him suffer!

Damien Gray lifted his eyes to Qin Yan, his gaze seemingly casual but in fact radiating a cold, oppressive aura.

Just as Morgan Shangguan expected, although Qin Yan was confused, under Damien Gray's intimidating gaze he gave his answer: 'Please, Ghostmaster, help me deal with Fiona Yun!'

'Hmm...' After getting his answer, Damien Gray stroked his chin, carefully studying the woman in his arms. Just as Qin Yan wondered if he was being distracted by beauty at the wrong moment, he finally heard Damien Gray say, 'Don't worry, Fortress Lord Qin. I will make sure to thoroughly torment the Cloud Guildmaster for you!'

Qin Yan didn't see the flash of light in his eyes, but that upturned mouth, paired with those words, already made him feel something was off!

Following Damien Gray's gaze, Qin Yan looked at the woman in his arms. The lady offered a faint smile and raised an eyebrow, asking, 'So, Ghostmaster, how do you plan to torment your Guildmaster?'

The curve of Damien Gray's lips deepened, the air thick with even more ambiguity. He lowered his head and gently nipped at her earlobe, whispering, 'How about like last night?'

Morgan Shangguan chuckled, then 'gently' pushed his face away and stood up to straighten her rumpled clothes. She spoke coolly, 'Ghostmaster, are you in heat?' He's getting more and more outrageous lately. Maybe she's spoiled him too much?
