Writing the Character for Human Part 3

I crouched quietly on the ground, my arms already unable to move. Divine Law continued pouring power into my body, while the force Tan Tian wielded threatened to crush me completely.

The situation was still extremely dangerous. I had to finish them off quickly, or, just as Tan Tian said, if my power form collapsed, I would die—and everything would end.

"I'll crush you..."

A dull voice echoed—it was Divine Law. I gazed upward, unable to move. Under the combined pressure inside and out, my body was being gradually crushed, with fragments peeling off in large chunks from my surface.

"Bring everything you have, Divine Law."

I widened my eyes, struggling to stay conscious. I didn't know how far I could go, but the only clear thought in my mind was to stop them.

I finally realized just how powerful Tan Tian was. Even with all the power of the Human Realm, I still couldn't defeat him easily. Worse yet, he had me completely restrained.

Gradually, I felt my power starting to leak out. My body was on the verge of exploding, and the form of my power was about to collapse.

Suddenly, I sensed something—a connection to the power of Divine Law.

"Thank you, Divine Law. Bring everything you have!"

Suddenly, the power inside me vanished, leaking away completely. My hand was free again. With a sharp swing, I unleashed the Starshard Radiance, slicing open a breach. I shot forward like a gust of wind, my palm slamming down on Tan Tian’s head—his eyes flared wide in astonishment, the shock plain on his face.

With a thunderous crash, I forced Tan Tian’s face to the ground. Emperor God swooped in, nine golden dragons swirling around him, their power overwhelming. The dragons’ roars twisted the air, reality itself distorting. Channeling my strength, I shattered Tan Tian’s form in an instant.

The Golden Soulstone reappeared, its brown-yellow glow flickering. I grabbed it and spun, swinging the Starshard Radiance at the nine golden dragons. Instantly, a pale blue mist swirled up from beneath my feet, coiling tightly around my legs.

A series of metallic clangs rang out as the nine golden dragons shattered under the assault. I drove my left fist into Tan Tian’s incoming claw—there was a deafening boom, and his body dissolved into particles. At that moment, Sylvia Yan slipped behind me, her hand pressing firmly against my spine.

"Move! Don’t hesitate—not even for a moment. Any delay now, and we’ll be seriously hurt!"

Phantom Sage’s voice drifted through the chaos. My legs were bound, blue currents swirling around me like a vast ocean. The weight was crushing; my upper body slowly turned crimson, scorched as if by fire. Emperor God appeared once more, pressing his hand to my chest. Three raging forces surged into me as he tried to dig the Golden Soulstone from my grasp. I fought back, channeling the powers of Divine Law and Humanity’s Path, resisting all three of them.

"Divine Law, pull your power back—now!"

"It’s pointless. Divine Law is already inside Zhang Qingyuan’s body. Do everything you can to make his power form collapse."

Phantom Sage spoke again. My vision blurred, but in my mind, everything around me grew even clearer. I struggled, twisting my head downward, astonished by what I saw.

The Seven Ghost Sovereigns stood motionless, silently watching me. Earthly Soul and Heavenly Soul were there too—they hadn’t left.
