Is an Apology Enough

Cherry Miller's face turned bright red in an instant!

This is right at the school gate!

He actually flirted with me so openly, without any concern!

Even if he's the chairman's son, he shouldn't be so arrogant, right?

"Ethan Yin!" Cherry Miller caught sight of other students out of the corner of her eye and panicked. "We're outside!"

"Oh? So what?" Ethan Yin chuckled. "Everyone already knows we're together. Nobody cares!"

"But—" Cherry started, but Ethan Yin cut her off, "As for Nora and Miles, you should stop interfering."

"Huh? Why?" Cherry looked up at Ethan Yin, surprised.

"Some things, they have to figure out for themselves." Ethan Yin reached out and gently touched Cherry Miller's cheek. "You've already done more than enough."

"But, they—" Cherry tried to explain, but Ethan Yin pressed his hand gently over her lips. "Enough, just listen to me."

Cherry Miller stopped talking, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Ethan Yin.

"Some things you can help with, but some you have to face alone." Ethan Yin went on, "Like convincing Mrs. Miller to accept me. That part is up to me."

Cherry Miller's eyes widened. She grabbed Ethan Yin's fingers. "What are you going to do?"

"I've already invited Mrs. Miller to the Yin Family home. Let's go now—the timing is perfect." Ethan Yin grabbed Cherry's hand and led her away.

Cherry Miller's mind went completely blank.

Is she really going to face this right now?

Shouldn't they wait until after the school festival?

By the time Cherry Miller snapped out of it, Ethan Yin had already brought her to the car.

"Aren't we rushing this?" Cherry couldn't help but ask, "Why not wait until the school festival is over?"

"Oh, rushing? I don't think so," Ethan Yin replied confidently. "The sooner we settle this, the sooner you can move on, right?"

Cherry Miller immediately protested, "That's not true!"

"Mhm, mhm, so let's just make it official and let me give my heart to you! Okay? Let me devote myself to you, only you, for my whole life!" Ethan Yin was in full flirt mode, his words sweet and irresistible.

Cherry Miller's face flushed instantly. "Ethan, you're doing it again!"

"What can I say? I like you!" Ethan Yin pinched Cherry Miller's soft cheek. "So let me devote myself to you for life! Just like my dad loves my mom!"

Cherry Miller's heart pounded wildly.

To be as in love as Mr. and Mrs. Yin?

Oh my god, how could she be so shameless, daring to hope for such a perfect love?

Right now, everyone knows the happiest woman in the world is the wife of the president of the Yin Corporation.

Ever since the president married her, for twenty years he's treated her like a treasure, never changing.

Even though they're both in their forties now, the president still brushes his wife's hair and draws her eyebrows every day. Their public displays of affection are enough to make the whole Yin family feel overwhelmed.

Whenever Cherry Miller saw moments like this—so full of love—she couldn't help but imagine that maybe, one day, she'd meet her other half too.

She didn't care about wealth or status; all she wanted was someone who loved her as much as Mr. and Mrs. Yin loved each other.

But honestly, Cherry Miller had never met a guy like that her whole life.

Now, listening to Ethan Yin, she felt her heart turning to mush, unable to resist.

Cherry Miller shifted her gaze, staring out the window.

Her rosy cheeks reflected in the car window, and Ethan Yin couldn't help but smile at her.

Before long, they'd arrived at the Yin Family home.

Cherry Miller stood at the entrance, suddenly feeling a little nervous.

Ethan Yin grabbed Cherry's hand and confidently led her inside.

Servants and workers greeted them nonstop. Cherry tried to pull her fingers free, but Ethan Yin held on tight.
