Chapter 1152

"Matthew Merlin, you filthy, greedy fool—worse than a goblin! You think you can monopolize this precious alchemical array all by yourself? Keep dreaming!

This place belongs to Dunespire Tower now! Hahaha! You stupid bastard, just wait to be torn apart by these frenzied magical beasts...

Don't worry, after you're dead, we'll mourn for you—and thank you for discovering this alchemical array.

Hahahaha..."

Felton and Lord Daugtu were the fastest, and as soon as they burst out of the cavern, they flung out the Endless Sand.

In an instant, that handful of yellow sand expanded wildly, swelling to form a sandfall over ten meters wide in less than a second.

The sandfall twisted like a yellow ribbon, swirling around the central mountain peak and shielding every Dunespire Tower mage within.

In less than three seconds, the central peak of the basin was completely engulfed by the rolling yellow sand; the mages of Dunespire Tower were sealed safely inside.

Outside, one section of the alchemical array cluster had been damaged, and instantly, the radiant barrier produced by the arrays could no longer hold perfectly.

Facing the frenzied assault of those pseudo Sky Rank magical beasts again, the defenses lasted less than three seconds before bursting like a soap bubble—pop, and it was gone.

A torrent of violent spells, no longer blocked by the radiant barrier, crashed down on Leon and his companions like a raging flood.

The mage legion's alchemical array shattered in an instant, erupting into a cloud of fire—boom! Fifty legion mages spat blood and plummeted from the sky.

The Patchwork Golem took a direct hit from a sphere of destructive energy, several replacement parts blown to useless scrap. If not for its core being a true Sky Rank alchemical golem, that strike would have destroyed it outright.

Hubert, tough as hide and bone, was covered in blood, a massive wound nearly a meter long torn across his back, exposing pale bone. If he hadn’t reacted fast enough, he’d have been ripped in half.

Reina’s dragon wing now bore three gaping, bloody holes, her back scorched and blackened...

In an instant, everyone was wounded; all fifty legion mages were gravely injured.

Leon swiftly tossed all fifty legion mages, Hubert, Reina, and the Patchwork Golem back into the demi-plane, then glanced at the basin’s center, where a cluster of Dunespire Tower mages huddled behind a barrier of yellow sand.

"Matthew Merlin, what’s wrong? Still have the nerve to glare at us? Damn fool, this is what you deserve. How come those brainless beasts haven’t torn you to shreds yet?"

What a pity. But let’s see what you do now. Those furious magical beasts won’t stop until they strip you down to the bone.
