The Women Are in Danger

1/5/2026

"Master, are we heading out now?" After another week in Barbarian City, Ryan was all set to leave. Sticking around any longer was pointless—plus, he had this nagging feeling that something big was waiting for him in War Province!

"Let's go—right now!" Ryan grabbed Lily's hand. She was the most important person to him now. Not just because of their past-life feelings, but because Lily was the key to tracking down the scattered pieces of his old body. Sure, he'd found his right hand, but its power was still limited. Ryan could sense the rest of his body fragments were only going to get stronger.

And besides searching for those, there was no way he was gonna let any treasures in the Immortal World slip by. If he wanted to break through to the next level, he needed to hunt for even more goodies!

Lily nodded immediately. For this little cutie, anywhere with Ryan felt like home. The two of them said goodbye to their friends in Barbarian City—the place was totally peaceful now, no big powers coming for it, at least for the time being!

Ryan and Lily set out together. Barbarian City was the northernmost—and honestly, the bleakest—of all 365 cities in the Immortal World. The deeper they traveled, the more they felt just how rich this world really was. Sure, there were other cities nearby, but their strongest cultivators were just a couple of Profound Immortals, and the rest barely Da Luo Golden Immortal level. That wasn't enough to catch Ryan's eye, and the cities were chill anyway, so he didn't want to mess with them.

After a few days of wandering and sightseeing, Ryan and Lily had already passed through over a dozen cities, soaking in all the Immortal World's scenery. It was richer and prettier than anywhere else, but behind all that beauty was a savage fight for power. Ryan got it—only his own strength was reliable. Everything else was just background noise.

"Master, looks like it's snowing!" Lily couldn't help but cling to Ryan's shoulder. Spending all this time with him, their feelings had only grown deeper—Lily felt more and more like she couldn't live without him.

"Yeah, it's snowing—but we're almost at War City!" Ryan patted Lily's hand, reassuring her.

"I heard War City's super strong—way tougher than the others. I'm worried I'm too weak!" Lily blushed as she said it.

"You're worried you're too weak?" Ryan was surprised for a second, but quickly understood what Lily meant. He pulled her into his arms and teased, "You want to dual cultivate with me, don't you?"

"N-no way!" Lily's face went bright red at Ryan's blunt teasing, and she instinctively tried to push him away.

"Alright, if you don't want to, I won't force you. Let's keep moving!" Ryan grinned on purpose.

"What? Not force me? Can't you just force me a little? Geez!" Lily huffed, pouting at Ryan.

"Nope, not happening. I totally respect a girl's wishes—I'd never mess around without permission!" Ryan said, deliberately speeding up.

"Come on, Master, can't you mess with me just a little? Mess with me!" Lily cried out, starting to get anxious.

Ryan almost burst out laughing at that!

"Master, you're such a bad guy!" Lily immediately raised her little hand to swat at him.

"Hey, you dare hit your master? Do you have a death wish? Want me to spank you?" Ryan shouted playfully. But Lily didn't back down and yelled right back.

"Go ahead, I'm letting you! If you don't, you're not a real man!"

After saying that, Lily actually stuck her butt out.

Just then—smack! Lily yelped, and Ryan burst out laughing.

Night fell, and the snow really started coming down. It was freezing outside, but Ryan had already found them a warm spot, with a fire blazing and meat roasting inside.

After dinner, Lily complained her butt hurt and asked Ryan to rub it. He couldn't hold back anymore—he pinned Lily down and things got wild!

Ever since Ryan hit Da Luo Golden Immortal, he hadn't really gone all the way with Lily. She'd only just come back to life, and they hadn't done anything as a couple. With War City ahead, boosting their power was crucial—and the only way for Lily to get stronger fast was to dual cultivate with Ryan. No other option.

After a good meal and plenty to drink, the two went wild. The bed was soaked through, and Ryan finally burned off all his inner fire—he felt lighter than ever. He was still just at early Da Luo Golden Immortal, but with a few more rounds with Lily, he'd hit mid-stage soon. Lily was improving even faster—almost instantly, she jumped several levels, now stuck between peak and great perfection Da Luo Golden Immortal. She was thrilled, and it wouldn't be long before she hit great perfection!

By morning, the snow outside had piled up deep—everything was pure white. Both Ryan and Lily were in great spirits. It was Ryan's first time seeing snow in the Immortal World, and it was way purer than anything in the mortal realm. It even felt packed with power. Ryan couldn't help but lick a little—it tasted sweet!

"War City gates are open!" someone shouted nearby. The gates of War City—the biggest city for miles—had swung wide, and crowds were rushing in for a chance at fortune. Nobody wanted to miss out!

"It's getting late—let's head in!" Ryan didn't hesitate. War City was his destination, and with the gates open, he was ready to dive in!

Lily nodded eagerly and grabbed Ryan's arm. They strolled into War City like a couple on a date, totally relaxed!

The city gate was a breeze, but as soon as they stepped inside, they caught wind of something crazy!

"Did you hear? Heaven-Earth Sect people showed up last night grabbing women everywhere—who knows what they're up to!"

"Grabbing women? That's nuts! Are they really snatching people in broad daylight?"

"So what if they are? That's Heaven-Earth Sect—one of the top sects in the Immortal World. You badmouth them, you're asking for trouble!"

"Grabbing women?" Lily shivered when she heard that—she hadn't expected something like this in War City.

"Don't worry! If anyone lays a finger on you, I'll skin them alive!" Ryan didn't know much about Heaven-Earth Sect, but their behavior already ticked him off.

But it was just a passing thought—Ryan didn't dwell on it. He grabbed Lily's hand and led her deeper into War City. They hadn't eaten breakfast yet, so it was time to find a cozy spot and chow down!

Suddenly, a woman's scream echoed from a nearby alley. People crowded around, but nobody helped. Ryan was shocked by the scene.

"Hurry, let's go check!" Lily shouted, looking worried.

Ryan didn't hesitate and ran over with Lily. What he saw shocked him—three huge men were trying to tear a woman's clothes off in the alley...
