Chapter 1058: Bone Lord Demon

A terrifying crisis descended. In an instant, the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord summoned the phantom of the Evil Moon, desperate to escape this sea of fire.

But suddenly, above his head, within the fiercely burning orange fire sea, more than a dozen Level 35 Fire Elementals appeared out of nowhere. Like moths to a flame, these Fire Elementals hurled themselves at the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord.

In an instant, the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord’s body was tightly wrapped by a swarm of Fire Elementals. Enraged, he clawed at his own body, instantly tearing two Fire Elementals to shreds.

Yet beneath his feet, a vast expanse of flames formed an alchemical array. The array resembled a swirling vortex of fire, and as it took shape, a ripple of spatial energy appeared.

An evil, ominous infernal aura began to seep from the swirling flames, accompanied by a faint hellish roar. It seemed that on the other side of this Infernal Gate, a devil from hell was lurking.

The Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord struggled in terror, but could not break free from the fire elementals clinging to him. At the same time, hundreds of massive fireballs—each seven or eight meters across—gathered around him. Yet in this inferno, it was impossible to distinguish between the fire sea and the fireballs.

Hundreds of giant fireballs exploded all at once—especially above his head, where more than sixty fireballs detonated simultaneously. The resulting blast unleashed a terrifying force, easily rivaling a full-powered strike from the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord himself.

Such power would only inflict minor wounds on the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord’s formidable body. Yet at that moment, the overwhelming force slammed him straight into the Infernal Gate beneath his feet.

The Infernal Gate twisted violently, teetering on the brink of collapse. The power of the Heavenly Rank nearly shattered this passage to hell. Half of the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord’s body was already inside, and with his frantic struggles, the Infernal Gate would collapse in just a few seconds.

Dida La let out a cold laugh, completely undeterred. He kept unleashing waves of Detonation spells, using the explosive force like hammer blows to drive the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord’s body deeper into the Infernal Gate.

With the Infernal Gate on the verge of collapse, Dida La spoke a phrase in the language of hell, directing it into the swirling portal.

"The Infernal Gate is about to collapse."

A second later, the Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord let out a terrified, agonized scream. His massive body—over a hundred meters tall—was yanked into the Infernal Gate as if dragged by an even greater monster, vanishing in less than a second.

At the same time, a devil’s gigantic claw tried to reach out from the Infernal Gate, but in an instant, the gate collapsed. Only an enraged, frustrated roar echoed through.

High above, Leon—still finishing his final calculations—caught sight of the scene, and a faint smile flickered in his eyes.

That Dida La fellow—he even dares to use Demon Overlords as bait for devil lords. Last time, he sent a Purple-Eyed Demon Overlord straight to hell; I bet the taste has already gotten those greedy, cunning devils hooked.

This time, he opened another Infernal Gate with the same power and direction as before. Sure enough, a powerful devil was waiting on the other side.

Unfortunately, like all devils, this devil lord was cunning, treacherous, and insatiably greedy. He spotted the Demon Overlord, but didn’t bother to put in any real effort to snatch him away. Not only did he want the Demon Overlord, he also hoped to use the Infernal Gate to enter this world.

He planned to use the Demon Overlord to drain the summoner’s strength, then devour the Demon Overlord—and, if possible, come through and kill the summoner as well.
