A Girl as Beautiful as a Flower

1/5/2026

In that instant, Ryan Ling was startled by the sudden scene. A brutal voice barked out: "Little girl, skipping work to chat, huh? Watch me beat you to death today!"

As the words fell, the whip lashed out again, clearly aiming to kill the girl on the spot. Ryan Ling hesitated for a split second—he’d only just met her, but she’d tried to help him escape out of kindness. No way was he going to stand by and watch!

He spun around and snatched the whip right out of the attacker’s hand.

"Well, this is a first! We’ve got ourselves a flower-guarding hero in the manor," a fat, pig-faced thug sneered, charging at Ryan Ling, clearly planning to slap him across the face.

Ryan Ling wasn’t about to let him act tough. He shot a glance, and a flash of golden light blasted out—instantly launching the fat thug across the yard, his face swelling up like a pig’s snout.

Ryan Ling hadn’t even used his full strength—he’d just arrived in the Demonic World and didn’t want to stir up trouble. He grabbed the girl’s hand and said, “Come with me, let’s get out of here!”

The girl was stunned at first, clearly not expecting Ryan Ling to actually take her with him. But she quickly gripped his hand tight. Smart and sharp-eyed, she was obviously a clever demon girl. Ryan Ling was all alone here and clueless about most things in the Demonic World—having her as a guide might save him a ton of trouble!

But just then, a racket erupted behind them. A dozen fierce, thuggish faces closed in—clearly the manor’s hired muscle. Among them stood a demon in fancy clothes, looking much stronger than the rest.

“Go! Don’t worry about me, really—thank you!” Surrounded, the girl shouted anxiously, clearly not wanting to drag Ryan Ling down at a critical moment.

Ryan Ling couldn’t help but sigh. Rumor had it that everyone in the Demonic World was ruthless and heartless, but the first person he’d met was a kind, considerate girl. Maybe that was his luck. At this turning point, there was no way he’d abandon her. As for these so-called thugs and tough guys—they were nothing but trash in his eyes!

The strongest demon here was just at the ordinary Divine Immortal Realm—basically an ant in Ryan Ling’s eyes. He could squash a hundred of these guys in a minute. He hadn’t planned to cause trouble, but since they were lining up to die, he wasn’t about to show mercy. Time to wipe them out.

"Stay behind me and don’t move!" Ryan Ling pulled the girl close, locking eyes with the demon thugs. He wasn’t the same Ryan Ling as before—he’d escaped the Immortal Domain World, sure, but that was from Immortal World pursuers. These guys? Not even worth his attention.

"Ha, you little punk—trying to play hero? You’re not even qualified..." one of the goons sneered, looking ready to crush Ryan Ling with a single hand.

But before he could finish, Ryan Ling blasted out a wave of power. A scream rang out—the guy was instantly melted down to bone dust. The whole crowd of demons stared wide-eyed, shocked at how strong Ryan Ling was. Even the girl was startled—she’d thought he was just a weak runaway, but now she realized he was a real powerhouse. She couldn’t help but feel a jolt of joy, like she’d found herself a top-tier backer.

The strongest demon was rattled, but still didn’t see Ryan Ling as a real threat. He glared and shouted, "So what if he’s got some skills? He’s just one guy—there’s a ton of us! Get him! Tear him to pieces!"

Hearing that, the girl clung to Ryan Ling, clearly nervous—she really didn’t trust this strong guy. Ryan Ling figured this must be Lord Gore, the so-called owner of the manor.

"Come on, all of you—bring it! You losers!" Ryan Ling sneered, not taking any of these demons seriously. They were just cannon fodder.

Hearing Ryan Ling mouth off, the thugs couldn’t take it. They gathered their power and charged him, determined to wipe him out.

"Idiots!" Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate a second—he swept out in a flash. Explosions rang out, and a dozen thugs were instantly blasted into meat paste. These guys were just Heavenly Immortal level—total ants to him.

"Nice kill!" The girl cheered, clapping excitedly. "Finish Lord Gore off and everyone here will be saved!"

"Ha! Piece of cake!" Ryan Ling grinned and locked eyes on Lord Gore.

"Kid, you must have a death wish! I—I’ll kill you for sure!" Lord Gore was panicking now, stumbling backward, but still shouting at the top of his lungs.

"Kill me? I’m taking your life today!" Ryan Ling knew that killing Lord Gore would rid the locals of a menace—he wasn’t about to pass up a good deed like this.

He glared, unleashing another blast—there was a loud bang, and Lord Gore, still running his mouth, exploded. Limbs snapped, his chest burst open, and he went limp in an instant.

With Lord Gore dead, the demons who’d been wandering around like zombies suddenly snapped back to life. Clearly, he’d been controlling them—now that he was gone, all the mind control vanished.

"Everyone, Lord Gore is dead! We’re saved—run for your lives!" Alice shouted excitedly. The demons cheered, dropped their hoes, and scattered in all directions.

"Let’s get out of here too!" Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate—he grabbed Alice’s hand.

Alice’s heart skipped a beat, her hand trembling—she hadn’t expected Ryan Ling to actually want to take her along. She nodded quickly and ran after him.

Ryan Ling didn’t hesitate either—he flashed away, vanishing from the manor. He knew killing demons would cause a stir, but right now, trouble was the last thing he wanted. Finding the road to Stan City was his top priority.

That night, with Alice leading the way, they reached a nearby town—a bustling crossroads full of all sorts of characters. It was the perfect place to lay low. At the inn, Ryan Ling finally learned the girl’s name: Alice. She was originally from Stan City, so she knew exactly how to get there.

Ryan Ling felt a surge of relief—luck was finally on his side. With Alice, he had a clear direction!

"Thank you for saving me, benefactor. Alice has nothing to offer but herself—tonight, let me serve you!" Just as Ryan Ling was celebrating, there was a knock at his door. Alice walked in wearing a sheer silk dress, her eyes full of heat—she was clearly offering herself as thanks.

"What are you doing? I didn’t save you for this!" Ryan Ling said quickly, seeing her actions.

"Benefactor, Alice was taught from childhood to repay kindness. I have nothing but this body to offer—please accept it!" She stepped closer, eyes burning with intensity.

Truth be told, Alice was a real beauty—especially after cleaning up, her skin glowed with a soft pink. Ryan Ling was a normal man, and he’d never tasted the pleasures of a demon girl before…
