"Okay, I agree, I agree!" Ryan Ling wasn’t about to hesitate right now—whatever that guy meant, escaping this mess was the only thing that mattered!
"You’re pretty straightforward. Now I can tell you for real—you’re no ordinary person. You used to be one of the Immortal World’s top existences, and I think it’s about time you started reclaiming yourself. I can help you escape for now, but you have to face this situation yourself!" The Immortal-World Overlord said slowly.
"Wait, what do you mean? Help me escape? What about Lady Melody?" Ryan was a bit lost—was this guy only saving him and not anyone else?
But just as that thought popped up, he heard the other party chuckle: "You’re right, I can only save you right now. Go find your body—even if it’s just a tiny piece, any difficulty is no big deal. Golden Immortals? They’re just a pile of crap!"
"Then why not just help me wipe out that Huangfu Family ancestor? Wouldn’t that be way easier?" Ryan was speechless—no way he’d let Lady Melody fall into those father-son creeps’ hands, or she’d be totally doomed!
"That’s Heaven’s Will. I can’t do it for you—you have to make it happen yourself. If you can’t even conquer this little Immortal Domain World, how will you ever take on the entire Immortal World? But relax, I won’t just sit back. I’ll look after Lady Melody and anyone connected to you!" The Immortal-World Overlord finished, tapped his finger, and suddenly the whole world slowed down—like time itself had stopped.
"Damn, nice move!" Ryan couldn’t help but praise this guy’s skills. This was seriously top-tier—one move and the whole world just froze!
But before Ryan could get too happy, the other guy added, "Don’t celebrate yet. I can only freeze this moment for three days. After that, everything will play out as normal. You get what I mean!"
Ryan swallowed hard. He totally got what the guy meant—if he couldn’t make it back in three days, Lady Melody would definitely end up in those creeps’ hands, with zero chance of escaping a nightmare fate. And it wouldn’t just be her—anyone linked to Ryan would face a disaster like never before. Heck, even his home planet Earth would get blown to bits, no second chances!
"Alright, I’m in! But where do I even start looking for my body?" Ryan blurted out.
"Most of your flesh is in the Immortal World, hidden all over the place. But a small part fell into the Demonic World. So right now, your destination is the Demonic World. Even if you just find a single strand of your hair or a trace of your aura, it’ll help you a ton. Go, time’s tight!" The Immortal-World Overlord finished, didn’t care if Ryan agreed or not, and with a wave of his hand, Ryan was instantly flung out!
He flew out of Jiulong Mountain, left Immortal-Domain City, shot past Skycrest Peak, and was totally yeeted out of the Immortal Domain World!
Next thing, he suddenly landed on good old Earth. Under Daniel Deng and his buddies’ management, the planet was totally chill and well-run—no more wars, everyone living in peace. That made Ryan super relieved. But just thinking about what would happen if he failed this mission—every bit of that happiness would go up in smoke!
And just as that thought flashed by, Ryan was already flying away from Earth, his speed cranking up as he blasted out of the solar system. Who knows how long he flew, but finally he stopped in a place full of black holes!
This place was thick with demonic qi, reeking of rot and filth. No doubt about it—this was the entrance to the Demonic World!
Just then, that voice rang out again: "Go on, this is the entrance to the Demonic World. Get in!"
"Wait, at least give me a direction! The Demonic World’s gotta be bigger than the whole Immortal Domain World, and you’re only giving me three days. You can’t just have me wandering around clueless!" Ryan blurted.
"Fine, I’ll give you a direction—Stan City. That’s where you’ll find what you’re looking for. If you pull this off, everything gets solved. It’s your hope, your mission. Go!" The Immortal-World Overlord didn’t hesitate, gave another mighty wave, and Ryan was instantly shoved through that pitch-black gate, losing consciousness in a blink!
......
When Ryan woke up again, he found himself lying in a gigantic forest. The place was crazy dark and damp, trees shooting up to the clouds, all the leaves pitch-black, and the air thick with a nasty, bloody stench. Off in the distance, savage beasts were howling. Ryan shivered hard and jumped to his feet—only to spot a monster right next to him. Its wings were massive, like three or four meters across. Squinting, Ryan realized the monster was actually... a butterfly?!
"Holy crap, is this what Demonic World creatures look like?" Ryan broke out in cold sweat at the sight. In a blink, he summoned his immortal power—thank goodness he was strong enough. If a regular human landed in the Demonic World, they’d probably die of fright on the spot!
But as he steadied himself, he noticed several pairs of glowing green eyes watching him from afar—a pack of demon wolves! Ryan realized these wolves were all immortal-level beasts, and more creatures were rushing over. Clearly, his human presence had stirred up the whole forest!
Ryan knew he absolutely couldn’t stick around here. He quickly bolted out of the forest, aiming to find the way to Stan City. Sure, his cultivation was at the immortal tier—he could handle Profound Immortals—but this Demonic World was no ordinary place. It was the rival of the Immortal World, packed with demon generals and demon gods who could invade the Immortal World itself. No way was Ryan letting his guard down. His goal was clear: find pieces of his own body, then get the hell out. This was not a place to linger!

Thinking of all that, Ryan didn’t hesitate—he flashed over a hundred miles in an instant and escaped the forest.
"Looks like there are demons ahead!" Ryan scanned the area as soon as he left the woods. Tons of demonic creatures popped up, but these Demonic World monsters were way different from others—they looked almost human. Ryan instantly morphed his body into demon form. He didn’t know squat about the Demonic World, and had zero clue where Stan City was!
But he got lucky—the demons nearby were all friendly types, kind of like old farmers in the countryside, just working away in the fields. That put Ryan at ease, at least a little!
"Hey, sir, do you know where Stan City is?" Ryan didn’t hesitate and asked an old man right away.
"No idea!" The old man stared at Ryan with a blank look.
Ryan nodded and went to ask another one, but after seven or eight tries, every answer was still "No idea!"
Ryan started to get a weird feeling—like these demons’ minds were being controlled. Right then, a hand grabbed him from behind. Ryan spun around fast—it was a young girl, a demon too, but way more clear-headed and pretty than the rest!
"Why’d you run into Lord Gore’s manor? Hurry up and get out—if you’re late, it’ll be too late!" the pretty girl blurted. Ryan could feel she meant no harm—in fact, she was radiating pure goodwill!
"What’s your name? Do you know how to get to Stan City?" Ryan asked, surprised.
"Why are you so chatty? Move it, or you’re toast!" The girl finished, grabbed Ryan’s hand, and tried to drag him away!
But just then, a whip cracked through the air from behind, lashing straight at the girl. She was already skinny and not that strong—there was no way she could block it. She got flung aside instantly!
