Duality Boundary

Seeing Evan Yang's cultivation completely crippled, Elder Master Yang burst out laughing. "You fool, did you really think I would let them go? Let me tell you, I don't have the antidote anymore—the last portion was given to you. That means all these people will become living corpses."

"You!" Evan Yang's clone shouted angrily.

"Kid, I'm going to torment you slowly—until you die." Elder Master Yang said furiously.

Evan Yang's clone snorted coldly. "Who is the power behind you?"

"You still care about who's behind me? Let me tell you, I don't know either. Anyway, just prepare to suffer." Elder Master Yang laughed.

"Let me go first." Elder Master Yang's wife, already impatient, kicked Evan and even destroyed his hand.

Now missing a hand, Evan Yang could barely resist. He stared at the two and said, "Are you really not going to talk?"

"Talk about what? There's nothing to say. Just die now." Elder Master Yang snorted coldly.

Evan Yang spoke up. "If that's how it is, I won't be polite." With that, his clone's cultivation instantly recovered, and his destroyed hand was restored.

Seeing Evan Yang suddenly recover and unharmed, Elder Master Yang was baffled. "Impossible!"

"What's impossible about it? This time, let's see where you two can run." Evan Yang's clone snorted coldly. With just a clone, he easily subdued the pair, leaving them staring at him in terror.

Evan Yang's clone demanded, "Speak! Where's the antidote? And who is the force behind you?"

"There really isn't any antidote left. The last portion was given to you. As for who's behind us, we really don't know." Elder Master Yang replied.

Hearing this, Evan Yang was furious. "Damn it, you—!"

Evan Yang wanted nothing more than to destroy them, but he held back. After sealing them, he gathered the Yang clan members and returned from the deserted planet to the Yang residence.

His true body had already erased the Yang clan's lingering aura, but now the Yang residence looked like a haunted house.

When Patriarch Yang and Leon returned and saw the scene, they were shocked and rushed inside. They found Evan Yang checking each person, but nothing worked.

Seeing Patriarch Yang return, Evan Yang said, "You're finally back."

"What on earth happened?" Leon exclaimed in shock.

Patriarch Yang also looked at Evan Yang in confusion. Evan explained, "Dual Lifewater—they've all been struck by it. I've tried many ways, but nothing can remove it."

Leon exclaimed, "What? Are you serious?"

"That's what Elder Master Yang said." Evan Yang threw the pair out and explained what happened. When Patriarch Yang heard it, he cursed, "You unfilial child! How could I have a son like you?"

Elder Master Yang was already used to it and ignored him, remaining silent.

After imprisoning the pair, Evan Yang asked, "Dad, what exactly is this Dual Lifewater? How can it be so powerful?"

"It's a famous rumor in the Immortal Realm. Somewhere in the Immortal Realm, there's an immortal pool whose water is called Dual Lifewater. The water is highly toxic, split into yin water and yang water. If you drink the yin water, you fall into a coma and become a living corpse. But yang water is the opposite—it saves people." Leon explained.

Hearing about such a place, Evan Yang asked curiously, "Where can I find that immortal pool?"

"That, I don't know. Only the old monsters of the Immortal Realm might know." Leon shook his head.

Hearing this, Evan Yang said, "Got it. I'll leave this to you two. I'm going to the Five Element Palace to ask around."

With that, Evan Yang left immediately, leaving Leon and Patriarch Yang worried.

Evan Yang found the Water Palace Lord and asked, "Water Palace Lord, have you heard of Dual Lifewater?"

"Why are you asking about this?" The Water Palace Lord asked suspiciously.

Evan Yang sighed. "Someone in the Yang clan was poisoned by Dual Lifewater. We need the antidote."

"I've heard of Dual Lifewater and know where it exists, but I really don't know the exact location—I've never been there." The Water Palace Lord said helplessly.

Evan Yang looked a bit disappointed, but calmed himself and asked, "Who does know?"

"I'm afraid only Elder Rowan Woodspirit knows." The Water Palace Lord replied.

After hearing this, Evan Yang nodded. "Looks like I'll have to find him. Thank you." With that, he left in a flash.

Arriving at the Immortal Realm's Wood Temple, Evan Yang went straight to Elder Rowan Woodspirit's location. From inside a wooden house, a voice called out, "Dual Lifewater? Why are you asking about that?"

Evan Yang repeated his story. After listening, Elder Rowan Woodspirit said, "Hmm, I do know this place, but it's not an immortal pool—it's a yin–yang boundary, to be precise, a small pocket realm where the water is found."

"Senior, have you been there?" Evan Yang asked suspiciously.

Elder Rowan Woodspirit replied, "No, I only know of the place."

"Then please tell me, Senior." Evan Yang said respectfully. Elder Rowan Woodspirit handed him a map. After receiving it, Evan Yang left. On the way, he couldn't help but wonder about Elder Rowan Woodspirit's identity—how could he know so much, as if there was nothing he didn't know?

Lost in thought, Evan Yang stopped and said, "What am I thinking? I need to calm down."

After a while, Evan Yang resumed his journey. His destination: the yin–yang boundary, a remote place in the Immortal Realm. The location was hard to find—Evan spent over half a month before locating the spot Elder Rowan Woodspirit described. He arrived at the entrance, which looked like a vortex hanging in the air.

Such a tiny vortex in the void—finding it was truly not easy.

It took Evan Yang a long time to enter as well. Once inside, he saw two extreme regions: to his left was the Land of Death—bare mountains and plains, nothing else; to his right, a lush forest teeming with creatures.

"What's going on here? Why are there two extremes?" Evan Yang muttered to himself.

After watching for a while, Evan Yang decisively chose the life-rich side. He sprinted ahead, startling the surrounding creatures, who all avoided him.

Eventually, Evan Yang was stopped by a group of locals. He couldn't understand their language—they looked like primitive people, clothed in leaves, wielding sticks and stone weapons.

The group surrounded Evan Yang, buzzing in a language he couldn't understand. He gestured with his hands, but they didn't appreciate it. Several fired arrows at him, but when they struck him, it was like eggs hitting stone—the arrows broke instantly.

Seeing someone like Evan Yang, the locals were terrified and fled, scrambling to hide in a cave. Evan Yang muttered, "These people are really interesting."

Back in their cave, the locals found their tribal chief. One of them said, "Chief, a strange man has arrived outside. We tried to stop him, but he wouldn't listen, so we attacked him. But our bows broke—he's like a demon!"

The chief frowned. "A strange man? That's odd. How could there be a stranger here?"

"I'm telling the truth," the person insisted.

"I see. Bring Master Qianyu here—I have something to discuss with her," the chief said. The others nodded, and soon a woman appeared, dressed in animal hides and coverings.

Meanwhile, Evan Yang was still searching for the so-called yin water. Suddenly, the group from before reappeared. Evan Yang said, "I don't want to kill you—don't block my way."

Just then, a woman stepped out from the noisy crowd, dressed in leather that covered her vital parts. Hearing Evan Yang's words, she said, "So, you're from the outside."

"You can understand me?" Evan Yang exclaimed in surprise.

"Of course. I'm Master Qianyu—there's no language I can't understand," the woman replied with a smile.

Finally able to communicate, Evan Yang smiled. "I'd like to ask—where is the yang water? Can you tell me?"
