Evan Yang smiled. "They may have changed bodies, but their souls haven't. No matter how they disguise themselves or alter their aura, the soul's presence never changes."
"Boss, you can actually see their soul's aura?" Brocade said in shock, already beyond his understanding. Evan nodded, "That's right."
"That's terrifying, absolutely terrifying." Brocade couldn't help but be startled by Evan.
"Enough, don't worry about those people. Just keep an eye on them for me in secret. I trust your earth-burrowing skills." Evan smiled.
Brocade grinned. "Boss, don't worry, I can handle that. So when do we make our move?"
"Let's wait and see what they're up to first. Just don't startle them." Evan said.
Brocade nodded. Right now, only Evan and Brocade knew that Elder Master Yang and his wife had come back to life and were active in the Yang clan. The rest of the Yang clan still thought they were just merchants. Elder Master Yang frequently gave benefits to the clan, so the Yang people became even friendlier with them.
After more than a month of effort, Elder Master Yang and his wife finally got close to everyone in the Yang clan and began to take action.
"Who should we capture? Who could threaten Evan?" the woman asked curiously.
"Let's do a big sweep of the Yang clan," Elder Master Yang said.
"What do you mean by 'big sweep'?" the woman asked, puzzled.
Elder Master Yang explained, "A big sweep means poisoning the whole Yang clan—knock them all out and take whoever we can."
"But what if Evan finds out? There are so many people," the woman muttered.
"If he finds out, so be it. Worst case, we poison him too," Elder Master Yang said.
The woman asked skeptically, "What method could poison him too?"
Elder Master Yang smiled, "I've obtained Dual Lifewater from the Immortal Realm."
"Dual Lifewater? How did you get it? That's only found in the Duality Boundary. No one ever goes there—most Immortal Realm experts don't even know about it," the woman exclaimed, shocked.
"I traded for it years ago. Originally, I kept it for self-defense. Today, I finally get to use it," Elder Master Yang smiled.
"I thought you went to the Duality Boundary yourself. You scared me," the woman said, just hearing about that place made her head ache.
Elder Master Yang chuckled, "Don't overthink it. The Duality Boundary—go in, and most die. Who would dare? No one knows who made that place. I paid a fortune to get the Lifewater."
