After Today, There Will Be No Liu Family

"Hmm, since you know who I am, why are you still sitting?"

Evan Lin was perfectly at ease, his gaze landing on Frank Lewis in front of him. He nodded slightly, a hint of amusement in his voice.

"What do you mean by that? Don't think that just because you beat Sunny Zhou you can do whatever you want here—this is Frank Lewis of the Liu family!"

Sister Hong saw Evan Lin and quickly recognized him as the same teenager who had beaten up Sunny Zhou at SK Bar before.

Not even a chance to fight back—just wiped out, just like that!

Normally, you'd expect this teenager to be working under Victor Yu, wouldn't you?

As for names like Evan "Nine-Mysteries" Lin, Sister Hong didn't even have a concept of that yet.

At her level, she had no way of getting involved with that kind of circle for now.

Seeing Evan Lin speak so disrespectfully to Frank Lewis, Sister Hong immediately frowned, her tone turning harsh.

"What I mean is, you should be kneeling right now. Kneel properly, knock your head on the floor, beg for mercy—maybe if I'm in a good mood, I'll spare your life. How about it?"

Evan Lin smiled faintly and looked at Frank Lewis.

"You actually dare speak to Brother Frank like that!"

Sister Hong's face changed. Just as she shouted, Shawn Shi, standing nearby, stepped forward and grabbed her hair.

Shawn yanked her up from her seat and slapped her hard across the face. "My boss might be too classy to hit women, but me? I grew up crawling through the mud—I've got zero shame!"

"Damn, what are you, thinking you can do whatever you want just because you're a little pretty?"

Shawn was mouthing off, swearing and cursing as he slapped her again and again, until Sister Hong's whole face was swollen.

Her eyes were full of fear; she tried to turn to Frank Lewis for help, but when she looked at him, she was suddenly shocked.

In front of her, the usually arrogant and domineering Frank Lewis, after hearing Evan "Nine-Mysteries" Lin's words, wasn't furious at all. Instead, he kept a cold face, gritting his teeth, as if struggling to hold something back.

This was simply unimaginable before!

With Frank Lewis's personality, being told to kneel like this would normally have made him explode in fury.

"We're all people of status in Brightsea City. We see each other around all the time, so how about this, Evan 'Nine-Mysteries' Lin—let's just say my Liu family is giving you some face. We'll pretend nothing happened today."

"As for my brothers you injured outside, I won't pursue it either. I'm Frank Lewis, and this is where I take my leave."

Frank Lewis stood up from his seat, glanced at Evan Lin, and turned to leave.

"Trying to leave without even kneeling?" Evan Lin sneered. Instantly, the Three Maiden Spirits surged out of Evan's backpack, filling the room with icy chill.

Frank Lewis suddenly sensed a strong surge of danger, but before he could react, he felt a force grab his head and slam it down.

Bang!

Frank Lewis's entire head smashed into the floor, his limbs sprawled out as his skull punched a hole in the boards, blood pouring out.

"How dare you treat me like this! I'm a member of the Liu family!"

Frank Lewis roared in fury, his rage boiling over as his inner force surged, about to explode.

Bang!

Another slam.

Frank Lewis felt his head locked tight, unable to break free.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

That overwhelming force kept slamming Frank Lewis's head into the floor, harder with each blow.

The entire floor was covered in cracks from where Frank Lewis's head kept smashing into it.

"After today, there will be no Liu family in Brightsea."

Evan Lin spoke calmly.

Hearing this, Frank Lewis's face twisted in terror, a chill rising from deep inside him.

His head was dizzy from the repeated blows, and now Evan Lin slowly stood up, planted his foot on Frank's head, and ground his face into the floor.

"I gave you a chance to kneel and beg, but you refused. Now you can't even stand, let alone act arrogant in front of me." Evan Lin looked down at Frank Lewis, who was sprawled on the ground, powerless to resist, and pressed harder with his foot.

There was a wet, sickening sound, and Frank Lewis's body went completely still, sprawled out like a dead fish.

Sister Hong's face went deathly pale at the sight. She trembled all over, unable to say a single word.

The Liu family. Frank Lewis.

A mid-stage Inner Strength expert!

He didn't even get a chance to fight back—just wiped out, just like that!

"An ant shaking a great tree, a grain of rice daring to compete with the sun and moon?"

Evan Lin looked up, his gaze landing on Victor Yu.

Victor Yu gritted his teeth, clutching his chest, his face drained of color. His eyes were filled with fear as he looked at Evan Lin.

"Big Tank."

Evan Lin spoke calmly.

"Master!"

Big Tank was both scared out of his wits and secretly thrilled by what he saw.

These days, the pressure from the Liu family had been overwhelming—Big Tank was nearly crushed.

He never expected that as soon as Evan Lin returned to Brightsea, everything would be settled in a single encounter.

Big Tank was completely convinced—grateful he hadn't caved earlier. Otherwise, he'd have ended up just like Frank Lewis.

"Get the car. We're going to the Liu family."

Evan Lin's tone was flat. Big Tank shivered, nodded quickly, and hurried downstairs to prepare the car.

"Are you really going to the Liu family?"

Victor Yu managed to speak, looking at Evan Lin with a complicated expression.

"I won't kill you today. I'll spare your life for now. Go say hello to Damon Wang for me."

With that, Evan Lin turned and walked out.

Shawn Shi and Dong Zi shot Victor Yu a fierce glare before following Evan Lin out.

After Evan Lin and his crew left, Victor Yu surveyed the wrecked room, his gaze drifting from Frank Lewis's lifeless body to the terrified face of Sister Hong. He managed a bitter smile.

Especially that final line from Evan Lin.

Say hello to Damon Wang for me.

That line was loaded with meaning, making Victor Yu deeply uneasy.

He might be Imperial Grand's nominal number two, right below Damon Wang, but in reality, their status was worlds apart.

It took Victor Yu a long time to steady himself before he finally pulled out his phone, hesitated, and dialed Damon Wang's number.

"Hello?"

The one who answered was the fat chef, his voice muffled and deep.

Victor Yu recounted everything that had just happened to the fat chef, asking him to relay it to Damon Wang.

After hanging up, Victor Yu just sat there in a daze, feeling like Brightsea was really about to be turned upside down.

Just a few minutes later, his phone rang again.

As soon as Victor Yu picked up, before he could say a word, he heard Damon Wang's voice.

Victor Yu had always thought he and Damon Wang had a bit of brotherhood, having worked together for so long. He even tried to guess what Damon Wang would say based on his personality.

But Damon Wang's first words on the call made Victor Yu's mind go blank.

"Victor Yu, have you been the boss in Brightsea so long you've lost your mind?"

"Spare no cost to apologize to Evan 'Nine-Mysteries' Lin! Even if you have to hand over all of Brightsea, all of Imperial Grand, do it!"

Damon Wang's voice started off controlled, but by the end it was so cold it sent chills down Victor Yu's spine.
