Think it over. Hear those screams downstairs? That kid you’re waiting for—odds are, my guys have already caught him.

Listen up, really listen—can you hear how miserable he’s screaming?

Frank Lewis’s lips curled into a sneer.

Big Tank’s face went from pale to flushed as the screams from the first floor kept drifting up, sounding just like a pig being slaughtered—enough to send chills down your spine.

Big Tank, just give in to Frank already. Frank’s about to take over the whole Lewis family—he’ll be the boss soon. I’m only telling you this because we go way back.

If it were anyone else, I wouldn’t bother. Just don’t make the wrong choice—if you go against Frank, you won’t even know how you died." Sister Hong said seriously, lighting a cigarette and smiling slightly.

Sweat beaded on Big Tank’s forehead as the cries from the first floor kept coming.

I’ll give you five more minutes. If we can’t make a deal, I’ll send people to take over every venue you got from the Shaw family—don’t say I didn’t warn you, Big Tank.

Frank Lewis sneered again.

Victor Yu stood to the side, looking thoughtful.

As a member of Imperial Grand, Victor Yu wasn’t supposed to help Frank Lewis take over the Shaw family’s turf from Big Tank. But last time Victor tried to negotiate with Big Tank, Big Tank shot him down without mercy.

Big Tank said all those Shaw family venues and cash belonged to Evan 'Nine-Mysteries' Lin, so he didn’t give Victor Yu any respect.

Later, Frank Lewis found Victor Yu and promised him a fat reward—so Victor was happy to come along this time.

Right now, Frank Lewis clearly had the upper hand. It was just a matter of time before the deal went through.

Thud, thud, thud.

Victor Yu snapped out of his thoughts at the sound of knocking on the door.

Looks like the person you were waiting for has finally been dealt with," Frank Lewis said sarcastically. "Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin? What kind of weird name is that—think he’s gonna amount to anything?

If he was the Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin who caused all that chaos in Sunrise City and River City, that’d be one thing—but there’s no way it’s him.

Big Tank, don’t say I didn’t warn you—your boss Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin is just trying to ride the coattails of the real Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin way out in Sunrise City. Who knows what his real name is—maybe Lin Ergou? Lin Tiezhu? Huh? Ha!

Frank Lewis burst out laughing.

Sister Hong covered her mouth and smiled, picked up an apple from the table, and offered it to Frank Lewis.

Victor Yu glanced at the closed door, feeling inexplicably uneasy.

Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin is, of course, Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin. Are you even worthy to speak my name?

A cold voice drifted in, sounding almost otherworldly.

Frank Lewis, mid-bite, froze for a moment, his smile fading.

He whipped his head around and saw the entire door panel collapse with a single kick, crashing to the floor.

A teenage boy strolled in, hands in his pockets.

Behind him, Shi Wen casually tossed a figure straight at Frank Lewis.

Bang!

The figure traced an arc through the air and landed right at Frank Lewis’s feet.

His face was a bloody mess, seriously injured; his arms twitched as if to show he was still alive.

It was none other than Sunny Zhou, the guy who’d bragged about heading downstairs just minutes ago!

Ahhh!

Sister Hong shrieked at the sight of Sunny Zhou’s battered face, trembling all over.

Master!

Just seconds ago, Big Tank looked ashen. Now, seeing Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin walk in, his face lit up and he scrambled to his feet, looking aggrieved: 'You’re finally back!'

Shawn Shi and Dong Zi exchanged glances, shuddering at Big Tank’s hefty frame.

Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin didn’t even glance at him, just kept walking forward.

Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin!

Victor Yu’s face darkened as he looked at Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin.

Before Victor Yu could finish his sentence, Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin was already beside him, gripping his neck and lifting him up, face cold: ‘We meet again, Victor Yu.’

Looks like you’re up to something, aren’t you?

Victor Yu’s face turned red, struggling to breathe, eyes wide as the aura of death closed in.

Usually, Victor Yu was respectful to Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin, knowing full well what Evan was capable of.

But this time, Victor Yu dared to stand against Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin because Frank Lewis and the Lewis family were strong enough to back him up.

Don’t flatter yourself. Even if King Dihao stood in front of me, if he dared to cross me, I’d make him regret being born.

Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin sneered, tossing Victor Yu aside like a cannonball. Victor crashed into the wall, gasping and coughing, back aching, but Evan’s words echoed in his mind.

You’ve met King Dihao?

If you mean the guy who blew up Medicine King Valley, then yes, that’s him.

Evan’s cold words sent chills through Victor Yu, who stared in terror: ‘You really are Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin!’

Impossible! Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin can’t be a student!

Victor Yu was stunned—Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin’s reputation was legendary throughout Haizhou.

But Victor Yu never connected the Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin he’d met before with the one who’d made waves in three cities.

After all, someone as legendary as Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin couldn’t possibly be just a student in Minghai City.

It was just too unbelievable.

Completely beyond imagination!

Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin didn’t spare Victor Yu a glance, just walked over, pulled out a chair, and sat across from Frank Lewis, eyes calm.

So, you’re Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin?

Frank Lewis squinted, startled, but quickly forced himself to calm down: 'Is that the Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin from Sunrise City and River City?'

Frank Lewis tried to compose himself, but Victor Yu’s words made him uneasy.

If that really was Evan ‘Nine-Mysteries’ Lin... Frank Lewis took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay calm.
