"I found this Rolls-Royce in Barry Shaw's garage. That guy really knows how to live it up—he's got at least ten cars!"
Plus, he's got a bunch of venues under him. I've had people tallying up the assets these past few days. This card here has the cash I found—seven million yuan, boss. You take it first.
In the car, Big Tank volunteered to drive and handed Evan Lin a bank card.
Evan Lin sat in the back seat and took the card.
Donny Dong, sitting beside him, looked super tense.
Shawn Shi was in the front passenger seat.
As the car rolled out and passed Dusklight Street, Big Tank couldn't help but shudder as he saw all those guys sprawled every which way across the road.
Just a few hours ago, this same crowd had blocked Big Tank's people in so tight he couldn't even escape.
Big Tank knew exactly how tough those guys were, but in the blink of an eye, every single one was laid out on the ground—and a bunch of them were even knocked out cold.
It made Big Tank realize just how terrifying Evan Lin's skills really were.
The car left Dusklight Street and headed straight for the Liu family villa.
When the Rolls-Royce hit the main road, it instantly drew a ton of attention. This car was pretty famous around Brightsea City, after all.
"Lynn, that car is gorgeous!"
On the sidewalk, Yolanda Fang and Lynn Chen had just come out of the supermarket. When they saw the Rolls-Royce cruising by, Yolanda couldn't help but gush.
"Yeah, it's alright," Lynn replied, acting all nonchalant.
Lynn Chen nodded slightly, looking totally casual.
"You seem kinda out of it lately. Still no word from Evan Lin?"
Yolanda glanced at Lynn, feeling a little sorry for her.
"Nothing. They say he went off to have fun, and then just disappeared. He even skipped the finals!" Lynn looked super frustrated as she said it.
"But I heard the Math Olympiad results are coming out today, right? We've got nothing better to do—why don't we go check his score?" Yolanda's eyes lit up as she remembered.
"What kind of score could he even get? Sis Si went to take the test too, and I heard the questions were tough." Lynn Chen was about to shake her head and say no, but Yolanda Fang dragged her off anyway.
"Hey, where are we going?" Lynn was startled by how excited Yolanda looked.
"To find a teacher, obviously! Let's go ask Ms. Liu about Evan Lin's score. I bet you really want to know how he did too."
The two girls dashed down the street, turning heads everywhere they went.
On the other side, inside the Liu family villa...
Clinton Lewis, dressed in home clothes, stood with his hands behind his back in front of a huge landscape painting, his face calm. "The Lewis family has been in Brightsea for decades. This time, we're finally producing a dragon!"
"With Frank's talent, he'll break through to mid-stage Inner Strength soon, then hit the late stage! In just a few months, he's jumped from early to mid-stage—talk about gifted!"
Clinton Lewis was all fired up, laughing loudly. "Once Frank takes over Barry Shaw's venues from Big Tank, our Lewis family will get even stronger!"
"Soon we'll swallow up the Niu family, then go to war with Imperial Grand! When that happens, all of Brightsea will be ours!"
Clinton Lewis's eyes turned cold. "And as for that punk who dared hurt Tim and Tony, we'll catch him and give him a good lesson. Some people just aren't worth messing with!"
Old Wu, the butler, walked over in a suit, carrying a cup of ginseng tea and smiling warmly. "Sir, it's time for your tea. Please don't get too worked up—your health comes first."
"Old Wu, do you think Frank will ever reach the legendary Vajra Realm?" Clinton Lewis asked, taking the ginseng tea from Old Wu with a smile.
"With the young master's talent, it's not impossible for him to reach the Vajra Realm one day. If that happens, the Lewis family could truly rule Brightsea." Old Wu paused, then added, "Maybe even go beyond Brightsea."
"Ha!" Clinton Lewis laughed out loud, checking the time. "Frank's been out for more than ten hours now. By this point, everything should be settled."
"That Big Tank guy used to be just a small-time thug with a few dozen men. Can't believe he had the guts to go after the Shaw family's turf. Totally clueless."
Once this is over, I'll make sure he disappears for good.
Clinton Lewis sat on the couch, blew on his ginseng tea, and took a sip.
The sound of a car engine came from outside the door.
"Well, speak of the devil! Old Wu, go open the door. That should be Frank back now."
Hearing the sound, Clinton Lewis put his tea down, stood up, and patted his clothes.
Hardly anyone ever dared drive up to the Liu family's front gate, so the moment Clinton Lewis heard the engine, he figured it had to be Frank coming back.
Clinton Lewis had run wild in Brightsea for decades, but after getting crushed by Imperial Grand, he'd been biding his time, waiting for this day to come.
"Yes, sir."
Old Wu nodded and turned to open the door.
But before he could reach it, the engine roared—louder and wilder, like a beast suddenly let loose.
Old Wu froze, frowning. He'd barely taken a step when a huge crash echoed through the villa.
A pitch-black Rolls-Royce burst straight through the gate, smashing the door flat and barging in.
"Who the hell are you!"
Old Wu's face turned cold as he stared down the Rolls-Royce that had crashed through the gate.
Clinton Lewis heard the commotion and stormed to the door, furious. "Who do you think you are! Don't you know this is the Liu family? Or have you forgotten who Clinton Lewis is just because I've been laying low?"
The door is the family's face.
Having someone crash through the front gate with a car is pure humiliation.
"So what if it's the Liu family! Wherever I drive my car, that's my turf!"
The driver's side door was yanked open.
Big Tank stepped out, his face full of menace, his hulking body radiating pure intimidation.
With Evan Lin sitting in the back, Big Tank was brimming with confidence.
"You?"
Clinton Lewis squinted and sneered, "Frank spared your life, not so you could come make trouble at my place. What, you think you're desperate enough to pull something like this?"
"You had the guts to crash my gate, so you'd better be ready to pay the price!"
To him, the fact that Big Tank had managed to show up and smash through the gate meant Frank must've gone easy on him—or else he was just a desperate fool making a last stand.
This fat guy was probably half-crazy by now.
Clinton Lewis looked down on him, his eyes icy cold.
"Pay the price, my ass! Clinton Lewis, let me tell you something—your family's good days are over! Screw you!"
Big Tank spat out curses.
The car doors opened one after another.
Shawn Shi and Donny Dong climbed out of the car.
Seeing Shawn Shi and Donny Dong, Clinton Lewis frowned—now things were starting to look tricky.
