Before Charles could answer, Ethan Yin and Miles Gu's eyes lit up. They turned to Charles, "Daddy, try it on!"
Charles Yin patted his sons' heads indulgently, "Alright, I'll put it on for you."
"Mommy and Daddy, why did you come together? Did you make up?" Ethan Yin asked curiously.
Cici quickly turned away so Charles wouldn't notice her embarrassment.
Charles Yin chuckled softly, "Almost."
Miles Gu looked up happily, "Mommy, will you help me get dressed?"
"Of course." Cici affectionately bumped Miles's cheek with hers. "Mommy will help you."
She'd given him an out, so of course he'd take it!
"Alright, alright, Mommy will help you too, Ethan." Cici tapped Ethan Yin's nose playfully. "You little rascal, jealous of your brother now?"
Charles Yin came out in a sharp, handsome king's uniform—he looked absolutely stunning!
Ethan Yin couldn't help but say, "Daddy looks so cool in the king's suit! If only Mommy could wear the queen's dress too!"
Charles's dazzling gaze landed on Cici. "Since the kids want it, why not try it on?"
Watching Cici interact so sweetly with the kids, Charles felt his heart melt.
After Ethan Yin finished tying the last bow, he turned to Cici and asked, "Mommy, is your dress tonight a queen's gown?"
Cici glanced nervously at Charles, but followed the maid into the room and changed into the elegant queen's gown.
"Yep! Daddy's wearing a king's suit tonight," Miles Gu said, his eyes twinkling. "Ethan and I have prince outfits."
Only now did Cici notice the kids' matching prince outfits.
The maid grinned, "Because the Yin family is basically royalty in a small African country! The young master is the king of that little kingdom!"
A flash of disappointment crossed Ethan and Miles's faces.
Just then, Assistant A knocked and came in, holding a box. "President, here's your gown for tonight. Would you like to try it on now?"
"Young master is the uncrowned king of Africa," the maid said proudly. "That country gave him his own land and made him royalty. His kingdom is like a country within a country. Of course, the young master doesn't care much about being king—he's the economic powerhouse of all Africa!"
