Preparing for the Trip to Japan

1/4/2026

Cici stared at her reflection in the mirror, feeling as if everything was somehow unreal.

The maid beside her couldn't help but exclaim, "Madam, this queen's gown suits you perfectly. You and the young master are truly the most perfect match in the world."

Cici's cheeks flushed a soft red.

There was a gentle knock at the door outside.

Cici turned around and saw Charles Yin holding a child's hand, smiling as he looked at her in the mirror.

"Wow, Mom, you look absolutely stunning in that gown!" Ethan Yin and Miles Gu exclaimed together, their eyes lighting up as they looked at Cici.

Charles Yin nodded in approval.

Cici felt embarrassed and instinctively wanted to take off the gown.

Charles Yin quickly stepped forward and stopped her.

"Such a beautiful dress—once you've put it on, you shouldn't take it off." Charles' voice was low and gentle, making Cici's heart race.

The evening banquet was Western-style, so everyone had a great time.

When the banquet ended, Cici reluctantly said goodbye to her children.

Charles Yin wished he could keep Cici with him.

However, he knew that rushing things wouldn't work.

His little mole needed him to set up traps bit by bit, to slowly reel her in, to make her fall in love with him again.

So Charles Yin didn't show any unusual expression and simply had Cici and the others sent home.

The Yin Family's birthday celebration would last three days.

The first day was for important families from both home and abroad, and the complex domestic network.

The second day was for hosting major families from Europe who, while not the most important, still had significant ties to the Yin Family.

The third day was for friends from the Middle East and Africa.
