Just thinking about it—soon, I’ll be able to spend a private getaway with Cici under the pretense of business—instantly put Charles Yin in a much better mood.
He tapped his fingers on the desk, and someone immediately brought over freshly brewed tea.
Charles Yin rested his right hand on his forehead, gently massaging his temples, lost in thought.
Because he was thinking about something wonderful, the smile at the corner of his mouth unconsciously grew wider.
The person delivering the tea set the cup down and was about to leave.
But when her gaze landed on Charles Yin’s handsome, almost enchanting face, her breath caught and she forgot to leave, just staring blankly at his mesmerizing profile.
Charles Yin’s long fingers slowly picked up the teacup, brought it to his lips, and took a delicate sip. The graceful curve of his movement made his charm even more irresistible.
Noticing the person hadn’t left, Charles Yin raised his brow slightly and glanced over, catching Angela Ma staring at him in awe.
Charles Yin’s gaze turned cold. “Do you need something?”
If Cici hadn’t pleaded for her, there’s no way she’d be allowed to stay and work here.
The Yin Family doesn’t lack servants—when would it ever be her turn to serve tea?
Angela Ma snapped back to reality at Charles Yin’s words, hurriedly lowered her head, and didn’t dare meet his gaze.
He’s like a god among men!
“I… I just wanted to thank you.” Angela Ma twisted her hands nervously. “My brother said I could work here, and I’m really happy.”
Charles Yin didn’t care for her gratitude and said impatiently, “Enough. If you don’t have business here, don’t show up. This isn’t your place. You may be Ethan Yin’s sister, but you’re not mine. Learn the rules—break them and you’ll be punished like anyone else. Someone, take her out and give her a proper lesson.”
Someone immediately entered from outside and led Angela Ma away.
Angela Ma glanced longingly at Charles Yin, bit her lip, and left reluctantly.
Cici had finished most of her shopping, mostly for personal clothing and essentials.
Japan has tons of cosmetics, and since Cici doesn’t care much about luxury brands now, she can just buy daily skincare products there as needed.
So, besides preparing plenty of cash, Cici only packed one large suitcase and a small backpack.
Since she was going to Japan with Charles Yin, all the paperwork and arrangements were handled by the Yin Enterprises staff—she didn’t need to worry about a thing.
On the day they left for Japan, Cici arrived at the airport early.
Although Charles Yin could have taken a private jet, for some reason he chose to fly commercial with just a few assistants and Cici.
From afar, Cici saw Charles Yin leading four assistants—labeled A, B, C, and D—walking confidently through the crowd, escorted by bodyguards.
Uh, does this count as a spontaneous… trip?
Today, Charles Yin wore a moon-colored shirt with standard black trousers. His hair was a bit tousled, giving him a carefree look—he didn’t seem like he was on a business trip at all, more like he was out for a casual stroll.
Luckily, the four assistants behind him were all dressed properly in Armani suits, which still gave off a bit of a business vibe.
Even though Charles Yin’s outfit was casual, the moment he appeared at the airport, he immediately drew a lot of attention.
If it weren’t for the bodyguards clearing the way, he probably wouldn’t have made it more than two meters before being mobbed by onlookers.
He had the aura of a prince—his looks could outshine any superstar.
No matter how messy or casual his clothes were, nothing could hide his presence.
Even Cici couldn’t help but sigh inwardly—he really is heaven’s favorite.
Charles Yin spotted Cici from afar, his eyes narrowing with focus. He ignored everyone else, locking onto Cici’s position and striding straight toward her.
Charles Yin’s gaze landed on Cici’s large suitcase. He nodded at Assistant A, who immediately went over and respectfully took Cici’s luggage.
"Let’s go." Charles Yin didn’t say much to Cici—just tossed out two words and kept walking.
Seeing her luggage taken by Assistant A, Cici finally caught up to Charles Yin.
This trip to Japan started with a stop in Hokkaido, then would continue on to other cities.
Tokyo, Osaka, and Nara were all on the list.
Yin Enterprises also has branch offices in Japan, and they’re actually pretty influential there.
So, for this trip to Japan, Charles Yin didn’t bring a big entourage.
The Japanese branch had already prepared everything to welcome the CEO.
Cici’s seat was right next to Charles Yin’s. As soon as she sat down, he reached over and buckled her seatbelt for her.
Cici hadn’t expected Charles Yin to do something so thoughtful. Ever since the birthday banquet, their relationship had gotten much closer.
Cici blushed and whispered, “I can do it myself.”
“Just sit still.” Charles Yin didn’t let her move, fastening her seatbelt himself.
Honestly, this trip to Japan was basically a romantic getaway—with a little business on the side.
How could he give Cici any chance to turn him down?
The four assistants sensibly kept their distance, making sure not to play third wheel.
Cici blushed and thanked him, while Charles Yin gazed at her with sparkling eyes. “So, how do you want to thank me?”
Cici was stunned. “Huh?”
Seeing Cici’s confused expression again, Charles Yin couldn’t help but smile. He reached out and pinched her cheek. “After we land, we’ll be staying at a guesthouse. The hot springs there are great for relaxing.”
“Uh…” Cici was still baffled. Was this topic related to the last one?

“I’ll need your help translating during this trip to Japan.” Charles Yin finally brought up something work-related.
Cici couldn’t help but twitch the corner of her mouth.
Charles Yin’s Japanese was even more authentic than hers—what did he need her to translate for?
Even those four assistants were fluent in several languages.
Their Japanese was as smooth as anime voice actors—totally flawless.
So what did he even need her for as a translator?
Still, since she’d agreed to help Charles Yin as a translator, she couldn’t refuse now—so she nodded right away.
“Don’t you love sashimi? When you were pregnant, I didn’t dare let you have much, but now you can eat as much as you want.” Charles Yin saw Cici’s expression and couldn’t help but smile, his eyes growing softer.
Cici reflexively asked, “How do you know I love sashimi?”
Charles Yin gave her a half-smile, and Cici blushed, realizing she’d asked a silly question.
He didn’t tease her for long and continued, “We’ve got plenty of time—you can eat all you want.”
Cici blushed again. “I’m not that greedy…”
As soon as Cici finished speaking, the flight attendant came by with the meal cart.
When Cici saw the Japanese meal in front of her, her eyes widened!
These were all her favorites!
This airline is so thoughtful—even the plane meals are so fancy! And everything just happens to be what she loves.
Awesome! From now on, I’m only flying with this airline!
Charles Yin leisurely opened his own meal but barely ate. Seeing Cici enjoying hers, he picked out all his favorites and gave them to her.
Cici blushed. “I was in such a rush this morning, I forgot to eat breakfast.”
Charles Yin looked at her with a bright smile, not exposing her little excuse—he just nodded gently. “Mm.”
Cici really did skip breakfast this morning, and now, with so much delicious food in front of her, how could she possibly resist?
The hand-pressed sushi was delicate, tasty, and beautiful—Cici was practically drooling.
Seeing Charles Yin give her all the things she liked, Cici couldn’t help but blush even more!
“Just have a snack for now. Once we get to Honshu, you can eat as much as you want.” Charles Yin explained patiently.
Cici, face flushed, ate everything Charles Yin picked out for her.
Seeing how cooperative Cici was, Charles Yin’s eyes grew even more enchanting.
It’s actually a pretty quick flight from N City to Japan.
It’s much closer than flying back from England.
In just a few hours, the plane had smoothly landed at Kansai International Airport in Japan.
As soon as the plane landed, Cici perked up.
Time to get to work!
Once again, Charles Yin reached over and unbuckled Cici’s seatbelt, then took her hand and led her off the plane without question.
Cici tried to pull away, but Charles Yin anticipated her move and tightened his grip, leaving her no chance to escape.
It finally dawned on Cici that this trip to Japan probably wasn’t just for work.
From the start, Charles Yin had been so relaxed, acting like he was on vacation—not at all like someone with business to attend to.
But she was already here, so there was no reason to turn back.
Besides, deep down, she didn’t really mind Charles Yin’s touch.
The moment they got off the plane, Cici saw a group of Japanese people respectfully lined up on both sides. A middle-aged man with gold-rimmed glasses hurried over to greet them, bowing: “Welcome, President! Welcome, Madam!”
Cici’s face turned bright red, and she instinctively explained in Japanese, “No, it’s not…”
Charles Yin cut her off, asking lazily, “Is everything ready?”
"Yes!" the middle-aged man replied immediately. "Everything is ready. How long will you be staying in Kansai?"
With a glance from Charles Yin, the man quickly explained, “Miss Clarence, the honorary advisor of the Inagawa-kai, arrived in Honshu this morning. She’s currently in Osaka.”
