Colorful Inter-School Festival

1/4/2026

So lately, everyone’s been busy and fulfilled.

Even though Yina Yin and Miles Gu were still ignoring each other, once things got hectic, the resentment faded.

Time flew by, and soon it was the day of the school festival.

This was the first time Saint Diana Academy was hosting a school festival, and also the first time several nearby schools joined together for the event.

The leadership of all the schools involved had high hopes for this festival.

The students from the high school division all got a break and came over to visit Saint Diana Academy and join the festivities.

For students from other schools, it was a rare chance to experience an elite academy firsthand.

This was an opportunity you couldn’t buy with money!

So not a single student missed out—everyone was buzzing with excitement, lining up to enter the high school division gates of Saint Diana Academy.

After passing through security, everyone put on their ID cards and started exploring freely.

In Newport City, May is the season of full bloom and vibrant life.

The roadsides were bursting with flowers, the air filled with a gentle floral fragrance.

The main avenue was spotless, not a speck of dust in sight.

Even the fallen leaves were perfectly clean, without a trace of dust.

Everything here felt so natural, with hardly any sign of human interference—just pure, thriving greenery.

The students at Saint Diana Academy looked so natural and relaxed, totally free from any restraints.

Everyone wore the Saint Diana Academy uniforms, but the boys rocked sharp suits and the girls looked stunning in their dresses.

These outfits really flattered their figures, making them all look handsome and beautiful.

The uniforms left the other high schoolers green with envy!

Everyone’s wearing school uniforms, but why is the difference so huge?

Once inside the high school campus, you didn’t have to walk far before reaching rows of little tents.

Each tent was its own showcase platform.

In front of each tent hung signs showing their school and class.

When students walked by, someone would come out and invite them into their tent.

Some sold snacks, some had cosplay cafés, some sang and danced, some did fashion shows, and some even played indoor ping-pong—the options were endless.

Everyone could join in and spend based on their interests.

All spending here was virtual—if you liked an activity, you just swiped your wristband to pay.

At the end of the festival, whoever earned the most points was the winner.

With the other schools working so hard, there’s no way Saint Diana Academy would let itself fall behind!

Every class in the high school division pulled out all the stops to attract students visiting for the festival.

On this day, there was no distinction between nobles and commoners, no difference between students from Saint Diana and those from other schools.

Everyone had fun together, all smiles and laughter.

As the person in charge, Cherry Miller had the task of scouting for outstanding talent, so she made her rounds throughout the festival.

Whenever she spotted a promising student, she’d note their number for further investigation.

So when the students saw Cherry Miller coming, they all tried extra hard to stand out.

Cherry Miller smiled and nodded to everyone around her. After making a full circle, she really did spot a few great prospects.

Yina Yin sat in her classroom wearing a sharp blue shirt and white pants, playing familiar piano tunes for everyone.

Behind her, a group of beautiful girls played the violin.

Quite a few girls crowded around, their eyes practically sparkling with adoration for Yina Yin.

No wonder—Yina Yin was just way too cool today!

Except for Ethan Yin and Miles Gu, hardly anyone could keep Yina Yin in check.

She was a girl dressed as a boy, so she had the best of both worlds—her beauty was dazzling.

The others, like Jing Shaohuai and his crew, were still young—not even sixteen yet. They couldn’t pull off the mature look, so they could only go for the cute boy vibe. No way they could outshine Yina Yin.

The college division wasn’t allowed to join the festival, so Yina Yin got to steal the spotlight.

After all these years, Yina Yin didn’t excel at much—except piano, which she was forced to practice by Cecilia Gu.

She had no choice!

No practice, no basketball!

So when Yina Yin was little, she’d play piano while bawling her eyes out.

After a few crying sessions, she finally gave in and learned piano.

Later, with Cherry Miller by her side, Yina Yin didn’t find it so boring, and she eventually got really good at it.

Cecilia Gu often sighed, saying that raising a rich daughter was supposed to be easy. For her, raising a girl was as tough as butchering a pig!

Still, Yina Yin’s piano performance today drew a whole crowd of fangirls.

After all, most regular high schoolers didn’t have a piano at home, or didn’t get to play since they were little.

So Yina Yin’s skills grabbed a lot of attention.

Her fangirls enthusiastically swiped their wristbands, tipping Yina Yin.

In just half an hour, Yina Yin’s account had racked up a ton of money.

Just when Yina Yin was feeling super proud, someone walked by outside and exclaimed, “You guys have to check out that side! There’s a teacher helping keep order—oh my god, I’ve never seen a teacher so handsome! And he has natural red eyes! Seriously, you can’t imagine how good-looking he is until you see him!”

The fangirls heard about the hot teacher and couldn’t stay put—they all rushed off in a flash.

Yina Yin recognized that voice instantly—did she even need to guess?

Who else in the world has red eyes besides the Field Family?

What a show-off, Miles Gu!

How dare you steal my business!

I’m not done with you yet!

Yina Yin held back her anger, finished the last song, and got ready to see what Miles Gu was up to.

He’s a PhD-level guy—what’s he doing in the high school division anyway?

He’s just here to stir things up, isn’t he?

Yina Yin strode over, wanting to see what kind of chaos Miles Gu was causing.

From afar, Yina Yin saw Miles Gu hand-in-hand teaching a girl how to plant flowers.

Miles Gu was tall, and he had the girl circled in his arms, literally teaching hand-in-hand!

The girl in his arms was so excited, her fingers were trembling.

Oh my god, oh my god! If a male god treats you like this, you’d go crazy, wouldn’t you?

“So? Did you learn it?” Miles Gu’s voice was low and deep, standing there looking like a living painting.

All the girls nearby were snapping photos like robots.

Oh god, they just couldn’t control their fingers—they only wanted to capture the male god’s best side.

No matter how you look at him, he’s perfect!

Yina Yin saw Miles Gu flirting here and instantly felt her mood sour.

What a show-off, Miles Gu!

Fine, you win!

He’s using the excuse of helping the flower arranging class to openly flirt!

Yina Yin was seriously annoyed, turned and left, and walked straight into the next class’s display tent.

Once inside, Yina Yin realized this class was showing off their handiwork projects.

Handicraft projects were definitely not Yina Yin’s strong suit, so she instinctively turned to leave.

But as she turned, she bumped right into someone.

“Ah, sorry,” Yina Yin said quickly.

“It’s fine, no problem. Oh, sorry, I think I messed up your shirt!” The other person saw the scratch on Yina Yin’s shirt, made by a tool, and said, “I’m a student from Shuixin High School. If you trust me, let me fix it for you.”

Yina Yin stared at him and the sewing kit in his hand, totally surprised. “You know how to sew?”

“Yeah. Even though I’m a guy, I really like doing this kind of thing.” The boy grinned. “You’re from Saint Diana Academy, right?”

Yina Yin nodded.

“My sewing skills probably aren’t that impressive, but since your shirt’s already torn, can I try to fix it?” He continued, “We’re both guys, so you don’t mind, do you?”

Yina Yin glanced over at Miles Gu, who was still flirting next door, and said, “Of course I don’t mind. Go ahead, fix it!”

“Uh, don’t you need to take it off?” the boy asked hesitantly.

“It’s fine, this spot isn’t a big deal.” Yina Yin lowered her head to check the scratch—right between the shoulder and chest.

It was just awkward enough, but also safe enough.

Yina Yin checked the boy’s height—about the same as hers—and said, “Go ahead, let me see your skills.”

The boy was thrilled Yina Yin actually agreed. He didn’t stand on ceremony, opened the sewing kit, threaded the needle, and started stitching a five-clawed golden dragon on her shirt.

Because he was embroidering, the two were standing really close, almost pressed together.

Meanwhile, Miles Gu was teaching flower arranging from afar. Suddenly, the wire in his hand snapped in two.

Miles Gu’s red eyes flashed with murderous intent, but he said lightly, “This tool’s quality isn’t great. Let’s switch to another.”

The students nervously handed him another wire. “Senior, this is the third one!”

Miles Gu still smiled, “Really? This batch of wires is pretty terrible! I’ll have to talk to the school about changing suppliers. Now, let’s continue—this is how you cultivate these flowers.”

“Senior, you’ve already explained it three times!” a boy said bravely.

Miles Gu’s fingers paused for a second. “Really?”

Suddenly, Miles Gu’s murderous aura burst out. The boys hurriedly said, “But none of us have learned it yet, Senior, please explain again!”

Miles Gu glanced sideways, noticing the boy’s lips were almost touching Yina Yin’s cheek. He couldn’t stand it any longer.

Miles Gu tossed the wire aside, wiped his fingers clean, and strode over to Yina Yin and the boy.

At that moment, the boy finished the last stitch, snipped the thread, and smiled, “See? How’s my handiwork?”

Yina Yin looked down and saw a five-clawed golden dragon embroidered on her chest, so lifelike it was stunning.

Just as Yina Yin was about to praise the boy, she suddenly felt her wrist tighten!
