Strange Bubbles

Grandmaster Marcus "Armybreaker" Po was also unfamiliar with this place. He said, "Back then, I entered together with Grandmaster Adrian 'Left-Edge' Zuo, wanting to figure out what was really going on here. But after entering, not only did we lose all contact with the outside, we couldn't even find the way back out."

"I see. What about Grandmaster Left-Edge?" Evan Yang asked curiously.

Grandmaster Armybreaker sighed, "We split up back then, hoping to find an exit faster. But I ended up trapped here for years, and thought he must have gotten out. Looks like he hasn't found a way either."

"So what do we do now?" Evan Yang asked, still curious.

Grandmaster Armybreaker said, "Find the exit. Maybe we'll run into Grandmaster Left-Edge."

Evan Yang nodded, "Alright." After letting Grandmaster Armybreaker rest for a bit, Evan followed him as they left the area, searching for an exit and hoping to meet Grandmaster Left-Edge along the way.

On the road, Evan Yang asked Grandmaster Armybreaker for details about everything that happened here. Armybreaker's answer was simple: he was trapped in that strange barrier, inside was pitch black and impossible to escape, and outside all he could hear were thunderous rumbling sounds—no other noises at all.

The two walked for several years like this, but still couldn't find an exit. Though a bit discouraged, they hadn't given up and kept searching—until they saw someone.

This person was currently struggling, surrounded by countless strange bubbles pressing against him, making it impossible to leave. Evan Yang was shocked when he saw the man. "It's him?"

"Yeah, but he's an enemy," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Enemy?" Grandmaster Armybreaker looked at Evan Yang curiously.

Evan Yang smiled, "He's an enemy, but I want him alive. I even plan to get some answers out of him."

"But first we have to break through these bubbles. Judging by his strength, he's definitely a top expert, but even he can't get out. Looks extremely tough," Grandmaster Armybreaker said, analyzing the situation after sensing the man's power.

Evan Yang said, "I have a way."

"You?" Grandmaster Armybreaker looked at Evan Yang, confused.

Evan Yang smiled at the man trapped there. "Lord Raksha Darkhand, looks like we've finally met."

Lord Raksha Darkhand, who had been desperately dodging the bubbles, was shocked to see Evan Yang. "You made it here too?"

"If you can get in, so can I. And do you realize your arrival caused a huge change outside?" Evan Yang said.

"Stop bluffing. I'm trapped here—what change could I possibly cause?" Lord Raksha Darkhand said, not believing him.

Evan Yang heard Darkhand's words and thought of something: could the bubbles be causing the changes outside? Each bubble was about the size of a person, floating everywhere. Whenever Darkhand touched one, it split into more, so he tried his best not to touch them. These bubbles weren't easy to deal with—if he wasn't careful, they'd explode and injure him.

"Believe it or not, doesn't matter. But right now, do you want out?" Evan Yang smiled.

Lord Raksha Darkhand asked suspiciously, "You have a way?"

"I do, but whether I'll help depends on if you're worth saving," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"What do you want to know?" After years trapped here, Lord Raksha Darkhand was fed up and eager to leave if possible.

"The organization behind you, the person behind it, and your highest leader," Evan Yang said.

"Fine, I can do that," Lord Raksha Darkhand replied. Evan Yang smiled, "Don't try to bluff me."

"Why would I bluff you? If you have a way, hurry up," Lord Raksha Darkhand said. Evan Yang smiled, then threw out an invisible barrier. Grandmaster Armybreaker saw a new barrier appear but couldn't see through it, muttering, "How did you do that?"

"Figured it out myself," Evan Yang said with a smile. The barrier wrapped around Lord Raksha Darkhand, who suddenly felt himself moving, while the bubbles couldn't touch him at all.

Once Lord Raksha Darkhand was far from the bubbles, he was overjoyed. "You've got some real skill."

Evan Yang set Lord Raksha Darkhand down and said, "Alright, you can talk now."

"Kid, why should I tell you anything? You think just because you saved me, I'll spill? I'm only using you. Goodbye," Lord Raksha Darkhand said with a sneer.

He turned to leave, but Evan Yang smiled, "Don't run. You can't escape. You're inside my barrier, and within it there's Colorless Flame—you should feel it by now."

Of course, Lord Raksha Darkhand sensed it, and his strength was weakened. He said angrily, "You brat, you planned this from the start."

"Obviously. If I hadn't, you'd already be gone," Evan Yang replied with a smile.

"So what do you want?" Lord Raksha Darkhand asked.

"Answer my earlier questions," Evan Yang said to Lord Raksha Darkhand. Darkhand gritted his teeth and said, "Fine, I'll tell you. The organization behind me is the World-End Society. The mastermind is my superior, but to be honest, I've never met him. Everything goes through Lady Raksha, so even if you capture me, it's useless."

Hearing this, Evan Yang asked suspiciously, "You've really never seen him?"

"I swear on my soul, never," Lord Raksha Darkhand said.

After thinking for a moment, Evan Yang said, "Alright, I'll let you go." He released Lord Raksha Darkhand, who looked at Evan Yang and said, "You spared me today, but next time I won't go easy on you."

"Do you really think you still have what it takes to deal with me?" Evan Yang said with a smile.

"You... damn it," Lord Raksha Darkhand hadn't expected Evan Yang to be this terrifying, and snorted coldly.

"No need to see you off. Go on," Evan Yang said.

Lord Raksha Darkhand glanced at Evan Yang and the unfamiliar person beside him, paused for a moment, then said, "I've decided to go with you."

"What, planning to ambush me?" Evan Yang asked with a smile.

Lord Raksha Darkhand snorted, "I'm not that kind of person. I'm going with you because I think you two can find the way out."

"But I don't think you're a safe person," Evan Yang replied with a smile.

"You think I'd ambush you? Listen, we've got orders from above not to kill you. Otherwise, Lady Raksha and I would've taken you out long ago, before you even grew strong," Lord Raksha Darkhand said angrily.

Evan Yang laughed, "Your superiors want to control me—that's their business. But let me warn you, don't let me be the one playing you when the time comes."

Lord Raksha Darkhand froze, surprised Evan Yang would say that. Evan saw his reaction and smiled, "Let's go, stop wasting time."

Lord Raksha Darkhand saw that Evan Yang was willing to let him follow, so he went along. Grandmaster Armybreaker sent Evan Yang a voice transmission, "I can't shake the feeling he's dangerous. Are you sure about letting him come with us?"

"Don't worry, senior. Their organization wants to turn me into a tool, so they're not going to kill me. Relax," Evan Yang said with a smile.

Grandmaster Armybreaker felt reassured after hearing this. The three continued searching for an exit. Along the way, Lord Raksha Darkhand considered attacking Evan Yang several times, but held back—he knew he couldn't escape alone, and needed the other two to find a way out.

He was also worried about punishment from above, so he kept following closely behind Evan Yang.

Years passed like this, until Evan Yang and his companions reached another bubble zone. Seeing the bubbles, Lord Raksha Darkhand said with a shadow of fear, "You're not planning to walk through here, are you?"

"That's right. Is there any other way?" Evan Yang looked around and saw only those strange bubbles. If touched, they'd explode, but the movable barrier could pass through safely, so Evan Yang smiled.

"But..." Lord Raksha Darkhand was still worried. Evan Yang sneered, "If you've got guts, come on."

Seeing Evan Yang and Grandmaster Armybreaker walk in, Lord Raksha Darkhand had no choice but to follow. Evan Yang's barrier appeared, protecting them. Darkhand, curious about the strange barrier, asked, "How did you make this barrier?"

"Why should I tell you?" Evan Yang asked with a smile.

"Forget it, it's not a big deal," Lord Raksha Darkhand snorted. Evan Yang just smiled and ignored him, continuing to move through the bubbles while pondering their origin.

Finally, deep within the bubbles, Evan Yang spotted another person. This man had his eyes closed, and no bubbles could get anywhere near him.

Evan Yang recognized him instantly—it was Grandmaster Left-Edge. Grandmaster Armybreaker was startled, "It's him!"

Lord Raksha Darkhand didn't understand who this was, so he ignored it and watched from the side. Evan Yang moved his barrier closer and discovered a formation around the man.

It was precisely these formations that kept Grandmaster Left-Edge safe.

Grandmaster Left-Edge soon sensed something approaching. When he opened his eyes, he looked at Evan Yang and Grandmaster Armybreaker in disbelief.

"Armybreaker?" Grandmaster Left-Edge asked suspiciously.

"Yes, it's me. I can't believe I actually found you," Grandmaster Armybreaker said excitedly.

"How are you not afraid of this place?" Grandmaster Left-Edge asked strangely. Grandmaster Armybreaker laughed, "You should ask your disciple."

"My disciple? What disciple?" Grandmaster Left-Edge had lost contact with the outside world and was curious.

Evan Yang said respectfully, "Senior, one of your mirror images passed down the Heavenly Eye to me, so I'm your disciple."

Hearing this, Grandmaster Left-Edge was excited, "So that's how it is. I wondered how I suddenly gained a disciple."

"It's an honor to be your disciple, senior," Evan Yang said with a smile.

"Alright, enough chit-chat. Let's find a way out," Grandmaster Armybreaker said with a smile. Grandmaster Left-Edge smiled, removed the formation, and entered Evan Yang's barrier.

Now there were four people inside Evan Yang's barrier. Evan Yang suspected the bubbles were connected to the exit, so he asked Grandmaster Left-Edge, "Master, you've been here for years—have you noticed anything unusual about these bubbles?"
