Evan Yang was shocked to see Lady Raksha and exclaimed, "Lady Raksha!"
"You know her?" Sect Master Cyrus Xie asked curiously, seeing Evan's reaction. Evan nodded, "Yeah, they're from the same organization. The other man must be Lord Raksha Darkhand."
"We finally know who they are. Come on, let's find Whiteshade and the others," Cyrus said.
Evan nodded and followed Cyrus. Soon, they saw Elder Whiteshade holding the line. When Whiteshade saw Evan, he called out, "Help, quick!"
Evan noticed a crack had indeed appeared at the small opening. He quickly flashed over to the gap, braving winds sharp enough to tear flesh, and painstakingly added formations to patch it. Only after the gap was repaired did Evan realize many corpses were floating nearby—those who had sacrificed themselves for this opening.
Evan returned to Whiteshade, looked at him and asked, "How are you holding up?"
"I'm fine. Thank goodness you made it in time, or things would have gotten much worse," Whiteshade said gratefully. Evan replied, "It's my duty. Any idea what caused the crack?"
"Still not sure, but I suspect it was triggered by whoever went inside," Whiteshade said, looking doubtful.
Evan frowned. "Lord Raksha Darkhand?"
"Who's Lord Raksha Darkhand?" Whiteshade seemed unaware and asked suspiciously.
Evan said, "It's those two—one is Lord Raksha Darkhand, the other is Lady Raksha. Now that Lady Raksha has returned, the other must still be inside."
"You know them?" Whiteshade asked, surprised.
Evan nodded, "Yeah, I know them. I even know the name of the organization behind them."
"Oh? Really? Come, let's sit somewhere and talk in detail," Whiteshade said to Evan. So Evan was invited back to the main hall by the others.
In the main hall, Evan explained the organization behind the two Raksha generals to everyone. After Whiteshade heard it, he asked skeptically, "You mean they're trying to destroy the Chaos World?"
"That's my initial guess," Evan said.
Whiteshade asked doubtfully, "Are they planning to sabotage the formation and let the Chaos Storm sweep through the Chaos World?"
Evan shook his head, "No, not unless they want to die too."
"That's true. So why did they go inside and cause such a mess? Who knows what's happening behind the formation now," Whiteshade sighed.
Evan happened to be looking for the Twin Rakshas. Now that he knew Lord Raksha Darkhand was inside, he said, "Alright, I'll go in and take a look."
"What? You want to go inside? That's way too dangerous. You said yourself they're both close to nine hundred Heavenly Dao strands," Whiteshade immediately objected when he heard Evan's plan.
Not only him, but the others objected too. After all, only Evan could freely seal the entrance now—if anything happened to him, they'd be in trouble.
Evan understood their concerns and smiled, "Don't worry, I'll be fine."
"But..." Whiteshade was still worried about Evan's safety.
Evan said, "It's alright, trust me. I'll come back safe."
Sect Master Cyrus Xie thought for a moment and said, "Let him go, and check what's happening behind the formation while he's at it."
Whiteshade looked at Cyrus and could only sigh, "Alright."
Evan said goodbye to everyone, went to the formation's entrance, unlocked it, slipped inside, and immediately resealed the gap. He turned around—and was stunned by what he saw.
Before, there had only been a small vortex. Now, swirling before Evan, were countless small vortices, with a gigantic one in the center.
"What in the world is going on?" Evan muttered to himself as he took in the scene.
Evan calmed himself. He had two choices: go in and investigate, or retreat. But if he left, who knew what would happen here? Since Lord Raksha Darkhand hadn't come out, he must have gone inside. Evan prepared himself and sent a clone into the vortex.
But as soon as the clone entered, it lost contact with him—as if the vortex could sever the link between clone and true body.
Faced with this, Evan tried his Phantom Spirit Birds, but the result was the same—once inside, they never came out.
"Guess I'll have to try it myself," Evan muttered. After thinking it over, he flashed into the vortex. Instantly, everything spun wildly—his body was caught and whirled at extreme speed. Evan tried to keep his mind steady, but the spinning was so intense it was hard not to lose consciousness.
But the speed was just too fast, and in the end, Evan passed out.
Boom! Boom! Crackle, sizzle—collisions and thunder echoed all around. The noise gradually woke Evan. Shaking his head, he looked around and was stunned: there was nothing, just endless void stretching as far as the eye could see.
The only things visible here were natural phenomena—flashes in the air collided, making loud noises. Occasionally, powerful lightning struck random spots in space.
There were also hurricane winds, fierce enough to devour a person. All kinds of natural forces were exaggerated here.
Evan couldn't tell direction at all. Phantom Spirit Birds didn't work here, nor did clones. Almost every tracking method he had was useless.
In the end, Evan sighed helplessly, "Guess I'll have to search everything one by one."
With no target and no direction, Evan had to rely on his own sense of orientation. He glanced around, picked a spot, and kept moving toward it.
Everything was so empty—nothing but the sounds around him for company. Otherwise, he'd suffocate in this place.
Evan was often jolted by the lightning, but fortunately, nothing happened. The lightning vanished once it entered his body, but the colliding flashes pressured him. Whenever those appeared, Evan had to dodge; if he didn't, the explosive shockwaves would hit him hard.

Evan didn't know what these strange flashes were, so he could only avoid them.
And so, Evan found himself trapped in a bizarre, dark place full of natural phenomena.
Time passed bit by bit—one month, two, three. Outside, Whiteshade grew anxious, "It's been three months and he still hasn't returned. What should we do?"
Sect Master Cyrus Xie frowned, "I believe in him."
"I believe in him too, but you know how powerful that storm is. If he hasn't come out, there are only two possibilities: either he was killed by the storm, or he entered the vortex," Whiteshade said with a frown.
Cyrus thought for a moment and said, "I still believe in him."
Whiteshade sighed helplessly, while Evan was still searching for a way out inside.
His spiritual sense soon detected something unusual ahead—a spot where black light flickered. Naturally, Evan was drawn to it. When he arrived, he found a barrier.
Breaking barriers was one of Evan's specialties. He started studying it, and soon heard sounds of collision from inside. He frowned, "Is someone in there?"
"Who?" came an old, muffled voice.
"I'm from the Chaos World outside. Are you?" Evan asked curiously.
"You're from the Chaos World too?" the person asked, surprised. Evan replied, "Yeah."
"Then could you help me out?" the person said. Evan was curious—was this Lord Raksha Darkhand?
Seeing Evan remain silent, the person asked, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Can you tell me how to help you?" Evan asked.
"I need someone outside to cooperate with me. Only then can I break this barrier," the person explained.
Evan replied, "Alright. Go ahead."
The person explained to Evan how to break the barrier. After listening, Evan looked skeptical, "Are you Senior Po Jun?"
"Po Jun? How do you know me?" The person seemed surprised, as if he hadn't heard that name in ages.
When Evan realized it was indeed Po Jun, he was delighted. "Finally found you! As for how I know you, it's because what you taught me was breaking formations with formations. Are you planning to break it from both inside and outside?"
"You know my secret technique too?" Po Jun asked doubtfully.
Evan smiled, "Of course. Watch this." He then created many linked formations outside the barrier. Sensing them, Po Jun was shocked, "How do you know my method of breaking formations with formations?"
Evan told him that someone had taught him before. After hearing this, Po Jun said, "Maybe it was one of my disciples. I can't believe I ran into you—what luck."
"Senior, tell me how to break it," Evan said.
"Since you already know, let's do it together. Listen to my orders, and we'll break it as a team," Po Jun said excitedly.
Following Po Jun's instructions, Evan activated the formations. Thunder roared—the formation's power dwarfed the surrounding lightning. When the smoke cleared, a small opening appeared, and out stepped a middle-aged man, pale and squinting.
Evan greeted respectfully, "Greetings, Senior Po Jun."
The man opened his eyes slightly and smiled at Evan, "Thank you."
"You're welcome. Meeting you is my good fortune," Evan said with a smile.
"Same here. I have no idea how many years I've been trapped here—finally someone could help me," Po Jun smiled.
Evan asked curiously, "Where's Master Zuobian? Wasn't he with you?"
"Has Master Zuobian not returned?" Po Jun asked, puzzled.
Evan nodded, "No, both you and Master Zuobian are still here. Neither has left."
"I thought he had gone back. Looks like he's trapped somewhere too—damned place," Po Jun said.
Evan asked curiously, "Senior, what exactly is this place? Why is it like this?"
