Lily Bai turned back to Qilin Divine Lord Soren Lann and said, "Divine Lord! All the clan chiefs have agreed! Please give me a token as proof, would you?"

Soren Lann silently handed her a Divine Lord Token.

With this in hand, it meant their agreement was set in stone!

The clan chiefs opened their mouths, but none dared utter a word.

Lily Bai thanked Soren Lann, then turned to Bianca Whitefan and said, "Clan Ancestor, the Three Divine Realms have agreed to release you. I'm heading back to Drake Abyss to borrow the Void-Breaking Chain from the Celestial Empress. I'll get you out within ten days!"

"Good!" Bianca Whitefan handed the talisman slips to Sean Shaw. "Lily won't take them—do you want them?"

Since even the Crown Princess refused these wicked talisman slips, surely the Crown Prince wouldn't want them either! That's what everyone thought.

Yet Sean Shaw reached out and took them, saying, "Thank you, Senior."

"Mm." Bianca Whitefan said, "Let's go!"

"Farewell." Lily Bai and Sean Shaw cupped their hands to the crowd, then vanished together with Bianca Whitefan.

As soon as they left, the hall erupted.

"Divine Lord! Sean Shaw was clearly using Bianca Whitefan to threaten us!"

"Exactly! It's outrageous!"

Soren Lann kept a straight face and said, "What's done is done. Let's trust the Crown Prince and Crown Princess."

"But we can't just let Bianca Whitefan out! Who knows what could happen if she's released?"

Soren Lann: "Didn't she promise already? She said she wouldn't hurt anyone."

"So what do you want me to do?" Soren Lann's tone hardened. "Risk getting hit with a Bad-Luck Talisman and chase after them to take the token back?"

After a moment, someone suggested, "Just now they said they're going to borrow the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain from the Celestial Empress. Maybe we can go to Drake Abyss and petition her not to lend it to them."

"Right! The Celestial Empress and the Crown Prince never get along, so I'm sure she'd be happy to see us drop by."

"Do as you please!" Soren Lann said. "I'm heading back first!"

He vanished.

Azure Flame found Soren Lann in the imperial garden.

He stood before a Loveblossom, looking utterly lonely.

Poor kid!

She sighed and flew over, landing on his shoulder.

Soren Lann glanced at the fuzzy little creature on his shoulder, smiled, and picked her up.

Azure Flame nuzzled his hand with her head.

"Little Swallow, are you craving bugs again?" Soren Lann asked.

Azure Flame shook her head vigorously.

I'm just here to comfort you—can't you tell?

"You came because you knew I was upset, didn't you?"

Azure Flame nodded.

"Good girl!" Soren Lann stroked her head. "I'll reward you with bugs when we get back! Two of them."

Azure Flame: Why can't I escape these bugs? I'm exhausted...

Sean Shaw and Lily Bai visited Bianca Whitefan again, then returned to Drake Abyss to meet the Celestial Empress.

When they arrived at the Empress's palace, they found several ladies of the Qilin Clan visiting as guests!

They must have taken a shortcut through the Ancient God Realm—they'd arrived even faster than Sean and Lily.

Their real purpose? Clearly the clan chiefs weren't satisfied and sent their wives to win over the Empress.
