Where Is the Dignity of the Divine Race

Lily Bai sent a voice transmission back: "Absolutely not!"

"Then your husband can relax."

"With Asher Xiao in our hands, what is there to worry about?" Lily Bai said with impressive flair, "Luck is on our side today. Whatever happens next, just trust me!"

Sean Shaw raised an eyebrow at her, a faint smile playing at his lips.

Lily Bai calmly thanked the visiting noble ladies, then presented the two Alliance Tokens from Soren Lann and Tanya Quinn to the Celestial Empress, saying, "Your Majesty, both the Lumina Realm and the Southern Realm have agreed to let Senior Bianca out."

The Celestial Empress nodded and said, "If that's the case, I'll lend you the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain."

"Wait! Mother!" Jenna suddenly called out.

"What is it?" asked the Celestial Empress.

"Did you forget, Mother? You already awarded the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain to Second Prince Victor!" Jenna said.

"Oh... that's right!" the Empress said. "After his eyes were injured, I promised it to him! But since his eyes haven't healed, I haven't formally handed it over. Still, the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain should be considered Victor's property now!"

Lily Bai said, "So, what exactly are you two trying to say? That I can't borrow it from Her Majesty, but have to ask Second Prince Victor instead?"

The Celestial Empress nodded, "Exactly!"

"Then, Second Prince Victor, will you lend it to me?" Lily Bai asked Victor Xiao directly.

"Of course not," Victor snapped. "You blinded me, and now you want me to give you the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain? Keep dreaming!"

Lily Bai replied, "You're a Divine Prince, and I'm just a Warden-level immortal. I don't get why you insist I blinded you! But Luna Lian from the Spirit Alliance is my close friend. I can ask her to personally treat your eyes—she'll definitely heal them!"

"Save it! I don't need your help!" Victor said. "My eyes will heal on their own—it'll just take some time."

Lily Bai asked coldly, "So what will it take for you to lend me the Thunder-Heaven Void-Breaking Chain? Do you want Third Prince Asher Xiao back?"

Victor exploded, "A mere Warden dares threaten us?"

"That's right, I'm threatening you! So what?" Lily Bai's aura flared. "You make a deal and then go back on your word! Where's the dignity of the Divine Race?"

"The dignity of a Divine Prince is right here!" Jenna suddenly unleashed a blast of flame, striking the ground beside Lily Bai.

Flames and debris flew everywhere; if Sean Shaw hadn’t been standing protectively at her side, Lily would definitely have been hurt.

Jenna arched a brow at her. "Lily Bai, do you get it now?"

"So Second Heir-Consort means the dignity of the Divine Race is all about cultivation?"

"Exactly!" Jenna replied. "You're just a human Warden—you're not qualified to be Crown Princess! How could you possibly be worthy of the noble Crown Prince?"

Lily Bai answered, "I don't see it that way! To me, love and understanding are what make two people a match."

"You're too naive! As Crown Princess, you'll be the future Celestial Empress! It's not just about romance—you'll have to manage Tianque Palace, protect the princes and princesses as they grow, and become the Emperor's right hand!" Jenna fixed her with a cold stare. "Can you do that, Lily Bai?"

Lily Bai shot back, "How do you know I can't? I'm actually pretty impressive!"

Jenna laughed, "Oh really? How impressive?"

Lily Bai looked her straight in the eye. "More impressive than you."

"And how exactly are you better than me? Is it your rune-crafting? I'll admit you're good at that," Jenna said. "But I've never seen a Celestial Empress rule the Divine Realm with rune-crafting alone!"

"It's not just rune-crafting," Lily Bai said. "I, Lily Bai, am better than you in every way—looks, cultivation, background! In my past life, this life, and the next, you'll never measure up to me!"
