The Alluring Senior Sister of the Bliss Sect

"Hey, what's with you? I've been calling you forever, and you still don't react—hurry up and save me!" The woman's voice rang out again, even more urgent than before.

Well, since things had already gotten to this point, Ryan Ling figured he might as well mess with her a bit.

"Who are you? Why are you here—and how do I know you're even human?" Ryan strolled over. Sure enough, there was a woman up ahead. Judging by appearances, she was beautiful and had that unmistakable immortal aura. Her figure was so good that even Ryan had to admit she was dangerously tempting.

"What did you say? You think I'm not human? You're the one who's not human! Hurry up and save me, I'm stuck here!" The woman shouted, clearly having been trapped for ages. Now that Ryan had shown up, she thought her savior had finally arrived.

But she never expected Ryan would actually suspect she wasn't human—what a total insult! From her attitude, it was clear this woman had some kind of special background.

Since she was injured, Ryan figured he ought to save her—she was a woman, after all, and as a man, he couldn't just leave her hanging. Otherwise, he'd never live it down!

But just as he was about to make a move, the woman suddenly snapped back, cursing, "What are you standing around for? Get your ass over here! If you don't save me right now, I'll castrate you myself!"

Ryan was seriously pissed. He'd actually planned to help her, but her attitude was so nasty—she didn't even treat him as a person, more like an ant. No way was he putting up with that!

So he just stood there, not moving at all.

"What are you doing? Hurry up and save me, you idiot!" The woman's face changed; her voice got even louder. Clearly, this Earth-Tier tomb was no ordinary place—every extra second here was dangerous, and she was injured. The only thing to do was get out, fast, or she'd lose her life.

But Ryan just grinned and said, "This is the War Tomb, you know. How do I know you're human and not a ghost? How do I know this isn't some kind of trap? I'm not about to risk it—and with you being so fierce, maybe you should just fend for yourself. I'm outta here..."

Seeing Ryan really might leave, the woman instantly softened, her tone turning much gentler: "Little brother, I'm sorry, I was too harsh just now, don't take it to heart. Please, I beg you, hurry and come help me. I'm really in danger, I can't walk at all, if I stay here I'm dead for sure!"

Seeing her attitude soften, Ryan stopped and walked a few steps closer. He wasn't planning to mess around anymore—this place was seriously dangerous, and the woman clearly wasn't ordinary. Judging by her outfit and sword, she had to be from a major sect or big clan.

But just as Ryan was about to act, he caught a flash of killing intent in the woman's eyes. It was only for an instant, but he noticed it—clearly, this woman was ruthless. If he rescued her now, she'd probably try to get revenge once they escaped the tomb!

"Wow, you really are trouble. In that case, I think I'll have some fun with you!" Ryan smirked coldly. Since she was so shady, he stepped forward, then backed away a step: "Forget it, I probably shouldn't save you. What if you're just a ghost?"

"You're the ghost..." The woman was about to explode from frustration, but she held it in and quickly said, "Little brother, I'm really not a ghost, I'm just a regular person like you. I came into the War Tomb to look for something, but I got hurt. Please, have a heart and save me!"

"Saving people is fine, but saving a ghost? That's just asking for trouble!" Ryan said on purpose.

"You're such a blockhead!" She was clearly at her wit's end thanks to Ryan, but with no one else around, he was her only hope. Taking a deep breath, she said helplessly, "Fine, just check if I'm human—touch me! I'm warm, right? Ghosts are always cold!"

"Really? Then let me check!" Ryan grinned, thinking, You asked me to touch you, so don't blame me! He reached straight out and grabbed her chest. The woman instantly shrieked, "Where are you touching, you pervert!"

"Sorry, I'm just nervous—I've never met such a gorgeous beauty before!" Ryan scratched his head on purpose.

"Hmph, fine. So you've confirmed, right? Can you save me now?" The woman was fuming inside, but she hurried him along.

"Hold on, let me double-check—my safety's on the line here!" Ryan said, and reached straight for her butt.

"Where do you think you're touching?!" The woman shrieked again, almost ready to bite Ryan's head off.

"Sorry, sorry!" Ryan laughed to himself—he figured she'd been punished enough. He didn't want to keep messing around; this place was way too dangerous. Who knew what might pop out next? That'd be real trouble.

Ryan reached out to pry apart the two stones trapping her. The way they were wedged was weird—even though the woman was strong, she couldn't budge them. But with Ryan's help, she'd be out in no time!

Feeling her rescue was finally at hand, the woman got super excited—getting out was all that mattered now. But right at that critical moment, something unbelievable happened: several powerful auras flew toward them, each one fierce enough to reach peak Primordial Immortal!

With things going south so suddenly, the woman's face went pale and she couldn't help yelling, "This is all your fault! If you'd just saved me earlier, we wouldn't be in this mess!"

"Enough whining!" Ryan snapped. With things this bad, they just had to deal with it. Compared to the danger in the previous tomb, this was nothing—the last one was way worse!

Plus, Ryan's strength had already reached peak Da Luo Golden Immortal—he was way beyond what he'd been before. Even if a few peak Primordial Immortal corpse-fiends showed up, he wasn't about to panic.

The woman was furious at Ryan's attitude, about to snap—when suddenly Ryan yanked her out from between the stones with such force that she was stunned. She hadn't expected that at all, and her view of Ryan instantly changed. She'd never taken him seriously before, even considered killing him later!

But now, she instinctively realized Ryan was no ordinary guy—he was definitely a powerhouse!

"If you want to live, you'd better not move!" Ryan wasn't in the mood to joke anymore. He instantly focused his power, ready to take on the incoming peak Primordial Immortal corpse-fiends!

In the blink of an eye, Ryan leapt forward, unleashing his Da Luo Golden Immortal aura to the max. The power was insane—several of the closest peak Primordial Immortal corpse-fiends exploded instantly, their bodies blasted to dust!

"How is that even possible?!" The woman was completely stunned...
