As Evan Chu and his group reached the city gate, they were immediately stopped by the Royal Capital guards. One of the soldiers barked, "Show me your entry token!"
"We don't have any entry token," Evan Chu replied bluntly, not caring at all about the consequences.
"No entry token and you still want in? Where are you people from, and what are you planning to do in the Royal Capital?" The guard questioned, but didn't get angry just because Evan Chu's group lacked tokens—these Royal Capital guards actually had some discipline.
"So, no entry token means we can't enter? We just want to ask around for some information." Evan Chu grinned, not caring if he stirred up more misunderstandings—he was ready for trouble anyway.
That caught the guard off guard for a moment, but he quickly snapped back and shouted angrily, "You dare come to the Royal Capital to snoop around? You must be Blackmount Kingdom spies! Brothers, these four are Blackmount Kingdom spies—grab them! This is a huge merit!"
Instantly, dozens of guards surrounded Evan Chu and his companions. Evan just laughed, "I'm not from Blackmount Kingdom, and I'm definitely not some spy. I don't want to kill anyone, so you'd better back off—otherwise, you'll die ugly."
These guards were a mixed bunch—some had broken into the Heaven Martial Realm, others were late Earth Martial Realm. Decent strength for the Royal Capital, but now, being talked down to by some yellow-haired brat, they all burst out laughing.
One of the soldiers jeered, "Kid, you'd better give up and come quietly, or you'll suffer for it. Trying to act tough in front of me? You'll die a miserable death all the same."
Claire Ouyang frowned slightly—since when had Evan Chu gotten so soft? These guys should just be killed outright; why bother wasting words? Seeing Evan Chu hesitate, she struck first, whipping out a few lightning-fast palms at the surrounding guards.
Bang! Bang! A series of crisp impacts rang out as several guards were blasted away by Claire Ouyang's palm force—their outcome was obvious: dead on the spot. Against a Divine Martial Realm expert, they weren't even worth a single move.
