The middle-aged man glanced at Evan Frost and his companions before speaking: "Are you serious about what you said? If you can really help Moonspirit Kingdom end this war, not just a territorial map—even the rarest treasures in the Royal Capital could be yours."
Evan Frost laughed, "Heh, I’ve killed quite a few of your men, even your general—are you really that generous? You’re not just joking with me, are you?"
"To be honest, Moonspirit Kingdom has been at war with Blackmount Kingdom for years. It’s left our people miserable—everyone wishes the fighting would end soon, but neither side will back down. Now Blackmount Kingdom has Monrayn Kingdom’s support, so Moonspirit is beset front and rear and we’re barely holding on.
If you can end this war, it wouldn’t matter if a general died—or even if we all died, we’d have no regrets. What’s hard to believe is how one person alone could possibly settle the conflict." The middle-aged man said.
"No need for extra words. Just go prepare the territorial map—I’ll wait for you at an inn in the Royal Capital. Tomorrow, I’ll go with you to see the front lines. Don’t worry: whatever I say I can do, I will accomplish." Evan Frost smiled.
The middle-aged man gave Evan Frost a doubtful look, then told the guards, "Disperse—get back to your duties." He also said to Evan Frost, "Tomorrow I’ll bring what you need. I hope you won’t go back on your word."
The commotion Evan Frost caused at the Royal Capital gate naturally alarmed many inside, even the Moonspirit King himself. After returning, the middle-aged man went straight to see the king and reported Evan Frost’s requests.
The Moonspirit King laughed when he heard the story, "Is what the Great General says true? Is this youth’s strength really unfathomable?"
"Your subject would never dare deceive you, Your Majesty. That youth may look young, but his power is extraordinary. Moonspirit Kingdom truly can’t endure much more hardship—if we can get his help, maybe the war can end for real. A territorial map is no rare thing; why not agree?" the middle-aged man said respectfully.
"Good! I’ll leave this matter entirely in your hands. Give him whatever he asks for—whether Moonspirit Kingdom can end this war now depends on him." said the Moonspirit King.
Evan Frost and his three companions entered a rather upscale inn inside the Royal Capital. Along the way, plenty of locals gossiped about them, but the four ignored all the chatter.
Evan Frost ordered two upper rooms and some wine and dishes, telling the waiter to bring everything up. Night had already fallen—just right for eating, sleeping, and resting up for tomorrow's trip to the battlefield.
After eating and drinking their fill, Luna Chu asked, "Evan Frost, which room are you and the others using? I’m so tired—I just want a good night’s sleep right now."
"We’ll obviously sleep in this room. You and Skylar can take the one next door. Just don’t make too much noise tonight and disturb the other guests," Evan Frost joked, shooting a glance at Claire Ouyang.
"What do you mean by that? Who said I’d share a room with him? I want to room with Claire! Claire, let’s go. You two should get some rest early!" Luna Chu said, her face flushing red.
Skylar Yule also shot Evan Frost a look. He and Luna Chu had been together for more than two years, but apart from some kisses and hand-holding, they’d never crossed that final line. Evan Frost’s meaning was very clear, making Skylar a bit embarrassed.
"Luna, you’re kidding, right? Claire is my woman—of course she’s staying here with me tonight. How could you ask her to sleep with you? Besides, you and Skylar have been together so long—don’t tell me nothing’s happened? There’s nothing to be shy about. Honestly, I’m hoping for another nephew soon," Evan Frost teased.
"You! Stop spouting nonsense. Nothing like that has ever happened between us! You’re such a shameless rogue," Luna Chu snapped.
"I’m done arguing. Just keep your voices down—I’m going to sleep with Claire now. Don’t tell me you’re going to hang around here all night. If you want to learn from my experience, I’ll gladly teach you, but if you’re hoping for a live demonstration, forget it," Evan Frost laughed.
"Evan Frost, what are you even saying? Aren’t you embarrassed? How can you just talk about things like this?" Claire Ouyang blushed and protested immediately.
Luna Chu shot Evan Frost a glare, then turned and left the room. Skylar Yule quickly followed. Evan Frost waved his hand, shutting the door. "Claire, it’s time for you to serve your husband. Come here and let me love you properly..."
Soon, muffled moans echoed from their room. Next door, Luna Chu and Skylar Yule sat quietly—one at the edge of the bed, one by the table. Neither knew what to do; it was their first time truly alone together for a night.
Claire Ouyang’s moans seeped through the wall, making both Luna and Skylar blush. They glanced at each other, then quickly looked away. As time passed, the sounds only grew louder, leaving both of them parched and restless.
At last, Skylar Yule couldn’t stand it anymore. "Luna, let’s sleep. Don’t worry—I won’t do anything to you," he said.
Luna Chu nodded, giving her permission. Both lay on the bed fully clothed; no one knew what they were thinking, but they could clearly hear each other’s breathing and heartbeat.
In this atmosphere, it would be strange not to react at all. Skylar Yule’s hand, whether by accident or intent, landed on Luna Chu’s body—very close to her ample chest, which made her heart skip a beat.
"What’s he trying to do? Does he really want to devour me? Why am I looking forward to it so much—could I be a bad woman?" Luna Chu wondered to herself.
Seeing Luna Chu didn’t push him away, Skylar Yule grew bolder. His hand slid upward, stopping right on her soft curves.
Luna Chu’s face instantly flushed hot, her heart pounding even faster, but she didn’t dare say a word. When she still didn’t resist, Skylar Yule gently squeezed, thrilling at the feeling.
Luna Chu felt as if electricity shot through her whole body. She knew what she’d been waiting for might really happen tonight—especially with Claire Ouyang’s moans next door acting as a fuse, igniting their pent-up desire.
Luna Chu was naturally bold; once she let go, she was like a rampaging tyrannosaurus. Unable to hold back, she kissed Skylar Yule, breaking the last restraint. Skylar couldn’t contain himself either, and soon things heated up in the room.
Before long, all their clothes were gone. With a single piercing cry from Luna Chu, a girl truly became a woman.
Of course, the sound reached Evan Frost and Claire Ouyang next door. "Claire, why do you think Luna would suddenly let out a scream like that right now...?" Evan Frost joked.
