Treasure Location

12/2/2025

She instinctively sensed that this matter was inseparable from the hidden hand in the shadows. Yet what puzzled her was that, though the person had targeted both the Ghost Guild and the Cloud Guild, they hadn't done anything truly excessive. It was clearly a provocation, or perhaps a warning—but what was there to provoke? Or what warning did they intend to give?

She wanted to say more, but Damien Gray sealed her lips with a kiss. After a while, when he finally let go, Morgan Shangguan caught her breath and said, "We still have to go treasure hunting tomorrow!"

Damien Gray whispered in her ear, "No treasure could ever compare to my Princess Consort!"

Morgan Shangguan gazed up at the canopy, a smile flickering in her eyes, and said softly, "Your sweet words are becoming more and more natural, my lord!"

Damien Gray laughed, "That only proves I'm falling more and more in love with my Princess Consort!"

Morgan Shangguan chuckled and nudged his head, "So does that mean you're getting less serious when it comes to real business?"

Damien Gray had already stripped both of their clothes. Hearing her words, he raised his brows and said, "Perhaps I should be even more serious!"

Staring at his slightly upturned lips, Morgan Shangguan felt powerless. Damien Gray kissed her softly and laughed, "Before I met my Princess Consort, I was a very serious man!" He had always been earnest, setting up his own schemes and playing his own games!

But now that he had her, he felt completely satisfied. So whether he took those games seriously or not no longer mattered.

Morgan Shangguan wrapped her arms around his neck, her eyes misty and alluring. "So, are you saying I’m to blame for this?"

"What does my Princess Consort think?"

Morgan Shangguan silenced him with a kiss.

In another room, Quentin Hua looked at the note in his hand and sneered. He crumpled it, letting the powder scatter into the air. That person was a complete madman—on the surface, everything was calculated to achieve their goal, but some actions were pure insanity, impossible to comprehend with ordinary logic!

They were father and son, yet how could they be so different? Little Max was so kind-hearted!

The next day, everyone gathered around the table in the main hall, staring intently at the assembled Treasure Map.

Morgan Shangguan only glanced at it briefly before walking away. The crowd was far too dense for comfort.

A soft cough came from nearby. Morgan Shangguan turned and saw Yuna Ye.

Yuna Ye noticed her gaze, looked up politely, and nodded before coughing a few more times. She had suffered internal injuries from the poisoners earlier, and Ethan Gu was in no state to treat her. Though the Healer's Sanctuary had examined her, it would still take time for her to recover.

After looking at the Treasure Map, Shuyang Ye came over and said worriedly, "Yuna, you should return to the Ye Sect. You don't know martial arts, and going treasure hunting with Father would be too dangerous!"

Yuna Ye stubbornly shook her head, about to protest, when she suddenly saw Ethan Gu enter from outside. She quickly got up and walked over, asking, "Brother Gu, still no news of Young Master Jing?"

Ethan Gu nodded, the warmth in his eyes gradually fading. No one could find Maxwell Jing inside the valley, nor was there any news from outside. In just a few hours, Maxwell Jing would...

Maxwell Jing knew the Ghost Guild’s territory well; it wouldn’t be difficult for him to avoid their search. If he didn’t want to be found, perhaps no one really could find him!

Galen Gu happened to glance at Ethan Gu but didn’t think much of it. He had always assumed Ethan Gu was dead. Now that Ethan Gu was the Left Guardian of the Ghost Guild, even if their figures were similar, Galen Gu never connected the two. Besides, the treasure was the most important thing right now!

Yuna Ye gently comforted, "Don’t worry, Young Master Jing will be fine!"

Ethan Gu nodded and said no more, his mind occupied with where Maxwell Jing might have gone.

Quentin Hua had vanished once again. That demon was becoming more and more mysterious, always disappearing and reappearing without warning.

"Did you see anything, Ghostmaster?" Leon Feng had stared at the Treasure Map for a long time but still couldn’t make sense of it.

Damien Gray glanced at Morgan Shangguan, a smile playing on his lips. "You could ask the Cloud Guildmaster!"

"Cloud Guildmaster?" Leon Feng looked at Morgan Shangguan with suspicion. He had seen clearly that the Cloud Guildmaster had only glanced at the Treasure Map before leaving—could she really have understood it in just one look?

Morgan Shangguan smiled gently and said, "Since the Ghostmaster already knows, why should I repeat it?"

Noah Duanmu nudged Liam Duanmu and asked, "Big brother, do you understand it?"

The Treasure Map wasn’t complete, just a few rough sketches—nothing recognizable. Here a line of poetry, there a cryptic phrase. If you didn’t know better, you’d think it was a riddle for a lantern festival!

Liam Duanmu studied the map and softly uttered, "Snow Mountain!"

Reminded by him, Galen Gu quickly asked for a map of the area near Snow Mountain. Comparing the two, the poetic clues matched the landmark names, and even the rough sketches existed on the real map!

Everyone grew excited as the treasure’s exact location was found.

Morgan Shangguan frowned. If the treasure truly contained something that could grant endless power and dominion over the world, the map wouldn’t be so easily deciphered!

Either something else awaited them, or the treasure’s reputation was greatly exaggerated!

Snow Mountain? Hearing those words, Ethan Gu suddenly remembered Maxwell Jing drunkenly saying he wanted Little Nine to accompany him to Snow Mountain. Could he have gone there?

Snow Mountain lay due north of Healer’s Sanctuary, about a half month’s journey away. Judging by everyone’s excitement, they’d surely hurry. If Maxwell Jing really went to Snow Mountain, they could catch up soon!

But...

And after catching up? He still couldn’t cure him. Suddenly, Quentin Hua’s words came to mind: If you don’t love him, stop searching for him. He didn’t know if he loved Maxwell Jing, but he was determined to find him!

Susie Yun muttered beside Morgan Shangguan, "Xiao Rou is really something. Miss is right here, and she’s ignoring her, only caring about Liam Liu!"
