Great White Shark King

"Alright, let's go in and take a look. But I believe this fourth floor is definitely extremely dangerous, and the monsters inside are bound to be powerful—you two need to stay alert!" Evan Chu said.

"Big Brother, are you asking us to protect you? If you are, just say it straight! No need to be so roundabout. We all know the monsters in here are tough, and me and Jade won't laugh at you." Tom Chu said.

A black line immediately appeared on Evan Chu's forehead—this brat's mouth was getting sharper by the day, actually guessing what he meant. At that moment, Jade Chu said, "Tom, how can you say that to Big Brother? Now you've made him embarrassed. If Big Brother is in danger, of course we have to protect him."

"Jade is the sensible one. Let's go in and see what the fourth floor is like. You know, no one's ever entered the fourth floor of the Tri-Mystic Tower before—we're the very first. Isn't that something to be excited about?" Evan Chu laughed, then took the pitch-black Floor-Gate Key and walked up to the stone gate.

The stone gate was smooth as a mirror, with nothing on it except a keyhole. Evan Chu inserted the key and gave it a gentle twist. Instantly, the stone gate creaked open, and a passage appeared before him. Mist swirled all around, yet a path had emerged from nowhere—the strangeness of it was obvious.

The trio entered the passage, and soon the environment changed again. This wasn't anything like the third floor. Once they got a good look, they realized they were now standing on a small island, surrounded by water—churning, stormy waves everywhere, as if they'd landed in the middle of the sea.

"So this is the fourth floor's space. Definitely weird enough. If we have to get the key or the Immortal Token in this water, it's way harder than the third floor," Evan Chu said, speechless.

"What token? We have no idea what you're talking about, Big Brother. There's water everywhere—how are we supposed to get to the next floor?" Tom Chu asked.

"I don't know either, to be honest. There should be some kind of hint. Let's look around the island first and get a feel for the place," Evan Chu said.

The island wasn't very large—maybe about the size of a small city. The three of them spent about an hour walking all over it, but aside from a few trees and wild grass, they didn't see a single monster. Evan Chu figured the monsters must be in the water. Sure enough, this was going to be a pain.

Not long after, golden light flashed in the sky, followed by a long string of golden characters. Evan Chu stared at the words above his head and felt a chill run down his spine. The message was simple: in these waters there was a kind of aquatic monster called the Great White Shark. Both the Immortal Token and the Floor-Gate Key were on the body of the Great White Shark King. To obtain them, you had to slay the Great White Shark King.

Evan Chu looked out over the surging waters and said, "Jade, Tom, if we want the key, we'll have to take down the Great White Shark King in this domain. This time, we can't split up—use your soul sense to find where the Shark King is, and we'll head straight there. It'll be much easier that way."

"Hold on, Big Brother. This water domain is huge—finding regular Great White Sharks is easy, but tracking down the Shark King might be tricky. We'll need some time," Jade Chu said.

"Take your time, Big Brother can wait!" Evan Chu laughed. Having these two to help was a huge relief. If he'd come here alone, never mind his own strength—just finding the Shark King could've taken forever.

After a while, Jade Chu was the first to speak: "Big Brother, I see thousands upon thousands of Great White Sharks in these waters. There's one gold and one silver—those must be the Shark Kings you mentioned. Both are more than twice the size of the others, but they're really far from here. If we flew, it'd take at least half a day to reach them."

Evan Chu was stunned—there was no way to fly here at all! Just as he was starting to get discouraged, Luna spoke up: "Linfeng, that silver Great White Shark King is at least Seventh-Layer Venerable Martial Realm, and the gold one is Eighth-Layer Venerable Martial Realm. These might be the strongest opponents you've ever faced. You need to be careful."

"No way! I'm only at Divine Martial Realm right now—even if those two monsters stood still and let me attack, I might not be able to kill them. Looks like there's no way I'm getting that token or key," Evan Chu said, feeling dejected.

"How do you know you're only at Divine Martial Realm? There's no power suppression on the fourth floor—the token that appeared after the Wolf King's death said so, plain as day. Didn't you see it? If you don't believe me, try it yourself!" Luna said.

Hearing this, Evan Chu was instantly overjoyed. If his strength really was restored, he might actually stand a chance against those two Shark Kings. He quickly circulated his Chaos Dragon Force—and sure enough, everything was back to normal.

After confirming the Shark Kings' exact location with Jade Chu, Evan said, "Tom, Jade, let's go meet the Great White Shark King!" He grabbed both of them and instantly activated his teleportation art, disappearing from the island in a flash.

Seeing Evan Chu use teleportation, Jade Chu and Tom Chu were both shocked. Jade said, "Big Brother, your strength is back! Now you can really take down that beast—haha!"

With his strength restored, the half-day Jade mentioned only took Evan Chu about the time it takes for half an incense stick to burn. Looking down at the waters below, Evan said, "You two should head back into the storage ring for now. If I run into danger, just protect me. After all, the Great White Shark King is at Seventh or Eighth-Layer Venerable Martial Realm—I can't guarantee I won't get hurt."

As soon as he finished speaking, the two vanished, and Evan Chu dove into the water to search for the Shark King they mentioned. As he sank, he saw many fish as large as hills—definitely Great White Sharks, though he hadn't spotted the King yet.

As soon as the Great White Sharks saw Evan Chu, they charged straight at him. He could sense that every one of them was at the Venerable Martial Realm. Quickly, he activated Watershift to hide himself—he had no intention of wasting energy on these useless sharks.

He searched slowly through the water—who knows how much time passed—until a silver-white Great White Shark appeared in his sight. It was even bigger than the rest, with two rows of razor-sharp teeth under its massive jaws. Evan Chu knew that against him, this shark wouldn't even need its teeth—his whole body wasn't as big as one of them.

Suddenly, Evan Chu thought of a great way to deal with the shark: he'd enter its body directly. With Watershift, the shark couldn't see him at all. All he had to do was wait for it to open its mouth during feeding, slip inside, and then he'd be free to kill it however he liked. So Evan Chu slowly moved closer to the Great White Shark...
