Wendy Fang Pleads with Yina Yin to Let Go
Seeing Tracy Chen's face soften, Wendy Fang finally felt relieved.
Tracy Chen was about to speak, but Wendy Fang grabbed her, crying, "Enough, Tracy Chen, don't say anything! It's all my fault! Please don't blame Miss Yin!"
Tracy Chen: "???"
"Miss Yin, please don't blame Tracy Chen, okay? She just wanted to stand up for me." Wendy Fang turned to Yina Yin. "This is my problem, please don't drag Tracy Chen into it!"
She was so disappointed, her heart aching with longing.
But Tracy Chen still felt something was off.
At that moment, Tracy Chen suddenly realized Wendy Fang seemed like a stranger.
She was the one who sounded so sad and got Tracy Chen to stand up for her—so why was she now...?
Suddenly, someone stumbled in behind her. "Miss Yin, please don't blame Tracy Chen! It's all my fault! It's all because of me!"
She thought Tracy Chen had already said what needed to be said, so she rushed in.
Seeing Chen Chuan, Wendy Fang's tears started to fall. She said, "Chen Chuan, what should I do? I like senior so much, but he's being forced by his family to come here and be picked and chosen! He's the pride of our A University! How can this happen?"
By coincidence, when she arrived, Fan Wuling had just gotten to the company too, and they bumped into each other in the lobby.
"Tracy Chen, are you mad at me? I really tried to hold you back just now, but my leg hurts so much, I couldn't grab you in time..." Wendy Fang said, feeling wronged.
"Senior!" Wendy Fang hobbled over to him. Fan Wuling saw her and frowned, "Why are you here?"
"Senior, I came to see you," Wendy Fang said, her face turning red. Fan Wuling glanced at her foot, "You hurt your ankle again?"
Wendy Fang glanced at Tracy Chen, who saw her pleading look and finally spoke up. "Miss Yin, here's the thing. Senior Fan and Wendy Fang are actually in a relationship. Senior Fan is only here for the matchmaking because of family pressure..."
"Yeah, it hurts a lot," Wendy Fang said, her voice soft. Fan Wuling paused, then said, "Come with me."
"It's nothing," Tracy Chen said. "It's good we cleared things up today. Miss Yin is actually really nice."
He led her to the company's infirmary and asked the doctor to check her injury. After the examination, the doctor said Wendy Fang's ankle was badly sprained and she needed to rest for a few days.
Wendy Fang pretended to stop Chen Chuan, but Chen Chuan had already stormed out.
At that moment, Yina Yin was in her room talking with Mi Xiaoying about the chip project.
Just as they were talking, there was a knock at the door: "Miss Yin, the new worker Chen Chuan says she needs to see you. Will you see her?"
Yina Yin and Mi Xiaoying both looked surprised.
Normally, if staff have any issues, they report directly to their supervisor.
The supervisor would then report up the chain to the housekeeper.
The housekeeper has the authority to handle things.
Issues like this almost never reach Yina Yin herself.
But since Chen Chuan specifically asked to see her, it must be something urgent.
"Alright, let her in," Yina Yin said.
"She's probably just having trouble adjusting to the environment here. A little encouragement should help," Mi Xiaoying assumed it was a work issue and got up. "I'll go prepare the documents. If we need to increase the budget, all our previous work will be wasted and we'll have to start over."
"Alright, thanks for your hard work," Yina Yin nodded to Mi Xiaoying.
Mi Xiaoying left the room. Seeing Chen Chuan looking upset, she paused and said gently, "If you have any trouble, just let us know. We'll help however we can."
Chen Chuan's expression softened, but she looked a little embarrassed.
Mi Assistant is such a nice person—how could her boss be a 'bad girl'?
Did she get it wrong?
But she'd come all this way—turning back now just wasn't an option.
Chen Chuan could only nod awkwardly. "Thank you, Assistant Mi."
Mi Xiaoying smiled and nodded before leaving.
Chen Chuan walked into Yina Yin's room. She looked up and saw Yina Yin bent over a huge desk, typing away on her laptop, clearly working on something.
On the nearby table, stacks of documents were scattered everywhere.
She was obviously busy with work.
"What is it?" Yina Yin looked up at Chen Chuan.
"Miss Yin, I..." Chen Chuan hesitated again.
Was she being too rash, barging in like this?
She hadn't even gotten all the facts before coming here.
Sigh, she was just so worked up by what Wendy Fang said.
Yina Yin saw Chen Chuan standing there silently, looking confused. "Why are you staring at me like that?"
Chen Chuan was about to say it was nothing and leave.
Suddenly, someone stumbled in behind her. "Miss Yin, please don't blame Chen Chuan! It's all my fault! It's all because of me!"
Yina Yin looked up to see Wendy Fang rushing in, looking heartbroken.
Yina Yin was completely baffled, having no idea what these two were up to.
Chen Chuan was about to speak, but Wendy Fang grabbed her, crying, "Enough, Chen Chuan, don't say anything! It's all my fault! Please don't blame Miss Yin!"
Chen Chuan: "???"
"Miss Yin, please don't blame Chen Chuan, okay? She just wanted to stand up for me." Wendy Fang turned to Yina Yin. "This is my problem, please don't drag Chen Chuan into it!"
"Wait, you two—what are you actually here to talk about? Does this have anything to do with me?" Yina Yin crossed her arms and asked.
Chen Chuan opened her mouth but didn't know what to say.
At that moment, Chen Chuan suddenly realized Wendy Fang seemed like a stranger.
She was the one who sounded so sad and got Chen Chuan to stand up for her—so why was she now...?
Wendy Fang was at a loss for words.
She thought Chen Chuan had already said what needed to be said, so she rushed in.
Turns out she was too early.
Chen Chuan hadn't even said anything yet.
But now, Wendy Fang had no choice but to push forward. "Miss Yin, if you don't truly like Senior Fan, please don't mess with him, okay?"
"Senior Fan?" Yina Yin squinted at Wendy Fang, suddenly understanding. "You were the one who brought lunch to Fan Corporation the other day? What's your relationship with Fan Wuling?"

Wendy Fang glanced at Chen Chuan, who saw her pleading look and finally spoke up. "Miss Yin, here's the thing. Senior Fan and Wendy Fang are actually in a relationship. Senior Fan is only here for the matchmaking because of family pressure..."
Yina Yin raised her eyebrows. "Really? Let me confirm with Fan Wuling. Don't worry, I, Yina Yin, would never steal someone else's love."
Yina Yin was just about to pick up the phone when Wendy Fang panicked.
She and Fan Wuling weren't actually in a relationship!
She hadn't even confessed yet!
Wendy Fang stumbled and fell to the ground with a cry.
Yina Yin couldn't make her call, so she put the phone down and quickly walked over, crouching beside Wendy Fang. "Are you okay?"
"Miss Yin, I didn't mean to. I twisted my ankle a few days ago, and I must've aggravated it by rushing today," Wendy Fang quickly explained. "Last time I got hurt, Senior Fan helped me take care of it and even let me stay at his place to rest for two days."
Yina Yin smiled and said, "I get what you two are here for. Alright, go back and rest up. I'll talk to Fan Wuling! Since you two love each other, of course I wish you the best!"
Wendy Fang let out a huge sigh of relief.
But Chen Chuan still felt something was off.
"Take care of yourself and don't rush back to work," Yina Yin said with a smile.
"Thank you, Miss Yin," Wendy Fang said gratefully. "Senior Fan doesn't like me interfering in his affairs. Could you please not mention today to him?"
"Alright," Yina Yin nodded.
Yina Yin wasn't one to meddle in other people's business.
If Fan Wuling and Wendy Fang really were together, she would never get in the way.
Wendy Fang and Chen Chuan left Yina Yin's room, with Chen Chuan helping Wendy Fang walk back, step by step.
"Chen Chuan, are you mad at me? I really tried to hold you back just now, but my leg hurts so much, I couldn't grab you in time..." Wendy Fang said, feeling wronged.
Chen Chuan sighed.
Forget it.
They'd been roommates for four years, and that kind of bond couldn't be broken so easily.
No matter if Wendy Fang was using her just now, Chen Chuan truly cared about her.
"It's nothing," Chen Chuan said. "It's good we cleared things up today. Miss Yin is actually really nice."
She didn't use her status to bully anyone, nor did she try to steal someone else's love. She even kindly told Wendy Fang to rest up.
A girl this good could never be a 'bad girl.'
Seeing Chen Chuan's face soften, Wendy Fang finally felt relieved.
Back in the dorm, Wendy Fang couldn't help but message Fan Wuling: "Senior, I twisted my ankle again. It hurts so much!"
She sent the message, but got no reply.
Wendy Fang waited and waited, all the way into the middle of the night, but still no message from Fan Wuling.
She was so disappointed!
No, she had to confess!
She needed to make their feelings official!
She couldn't just sit and wait for things to happen!
Early the next morning, Wendy Fang asked her supervisor for sick leave.
Her supervisor saw her swollen ankle and approved the leave.
As soon as Wendy Fang left Yulan International, she headed straight for Fan Corporation headquarters.
By coincidence, when she arrived, Fan Wuling had just gotten to the company too, and they bumped into each other in the lobby.
"Yeah, it hurts a lot," Wendy Fang said, her voice soft.
Fan Wuling paused, then said, "Come with me."
He led her to the company's infirmary and asked the doctor to check her injury.
After the examination, the doctor said Wendy Fang's ankle was badly sprained and she needed to rest for a few days.
