Obtaining the Darkness Spirit Pearl

Suddenly, the hundreds of scythe-like arms on the monster's body vanished, dissolving into a massive cloud of dark miasma. Within a few breaths, this miasma condensed into two colossal scythes, each tens of meters long, one to the left and one to the right. Its entire body shot up by dozens of meters, transforming into a super-giant.

"It can even transform? This Darkling King really isn't simple!" Evan Chu couldn't help but marvel at the bizarre scene before him.

The Darkling King's aura grew stronger and stronger, that primordial wild pressure becoming ever more intense. Evan Chu knew the next attack would be earth-shattering—either he'd be gravely wounded, or the monster would die.

He prepared to unleash Unicorn Arm, stacking it with Divine Cleave for the first time—a truly reckless attack, but he was confident he could kill his opponent in one blow.

He poured all his Chaos Immortal Force into his arm, swelling it to the point of agony. Striking first was the best way to attack now—he flashed forward, charging straight at the giant Darkling King.

When he was still thirty meters away, he unleashed a devastating Divine Cleave. Almost simultaneously, the Darkling King's two giant scythes came slashing toward Evan Chu as well.

The Frostbane Divine Sword unleashed a sword-arc at least thirty meters long—a massive blade appeared before Evan Chu. The Darkling King's scythe-qi was also over thirty meters, making it look like an even match on the surface, but in reality the gap was enormous.

Star-Cleave and Divine Cleave aren't even on the same level. Now, with Unicorn Arm added, it's like a child wrestling an adult—there's no comparison at all.

The massive sword-qi and scythe-qi collided in an instant. Evan Chu's sword-qi tore straight through the Darkling King's scythe-qi and struck its body. The attack was far beyond what the monster could endure—it was split in two in a single blow.

But the sword-qi didn't stop there; within a few breaths, it shredded the Darkling King's body into fragments. A pitch-black dark-law bead appeared before Evan Chu.

The Darkling King's scythe-qi didn't even get close to Evan Chu before it was obliterated by the overwhelming sword-qi, vanishing without a trace. But that wasn't the end—the entire dark space was trembling, cracks threatening to split it apart at any moment.

With a thought, Evan Chu summoned his Fire Golden Body avatar, ordering it to snatch up the dark-law bead from the ground. The whole process was as quick as lightning—once the Fire Golden Body had the bead, Evan willed it back into his main body.

At that moment, the dark space split open—a blinding light so intense Evan Chu couldn't open his eyes blasted into view. The dark space collapsed, transforming into a world of dazzling brightness everywhere.

But right now, Evan Chu could only sit weakly on the ground. His Chaos Immortal Force was almost depleted, his arm numb from using Unicorn Arm—and worst of all, his soul was wracked with pain, the price of forcibly unleashing Divine Cleave.

Such overwhelming power even surprised Evan Chu himself—the fact that he could tear open space directly meant there was no one in the Immortal Realm who could withstand this attack. Having such a heaven-defying martial technique made him indescribably excited.

Lying on the ground, Evan Chu endured the pain in his soul. He had no idea how long had passed before he finally sat up, glanced around, and gave a bitter smile: "This should be the light space, right? There must be a Light King here too, probably as strong as the Dark King. To get the Light Spirit Pearl, I'll have to kill that one as well—this is just way too hard."

He took out two Immortal Crystals, split his focus, and began frantically absorbing energy. Right now, the only way to face what was coming was to restore his Chaos Immortal Force as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, Yvonne Xuan and Serena Frost were wandering through the light space. Flight was still impossible here, and after entering, neither woman found any monsters—which surprised them both.

They couldn't figure out how all the Immortal Lords and Immortal Emperors who'd entered this place had vanished. If there were no monsters or other powerful humans here, even if someone died from their Immortal Infant withering, there should at least be bones left behind. But here, there was nothing at all.

Endless flat ground—no mountains, no trees, no water. All they saw was a boundless stretch of white, leaving both women confused. But just now, they'd heard a violent shock from far away—their first thought was Evan Chu.

The two women rushed toward the source of the shock, and when they saw Evan Chu, they were overjoyed. But seeing his clothes in tatters and him in the middle of absorbing Immortal Crystal energy, they immediately understood what had happened.

Three days passed in a flash. After absorbing six Immortal Crystals and ten supreme-grade Immortal Stones, Evan Chu's Chaos Immortal Force had recovered to ninety percent. Now he could barely unleash Divine Cleave twice more—if danger came, he wasn't afraid anymore, though his head was still foggy.

The aftereffects of Divine Cleave were no joke. Evan Chu already knew the women had arrived, and seeing them safe let him finally relax. Anything he wanted to ask could wait until his Chaos Immortal Force was fully restored.

Back in Dream Spirit Sanctuary, Fairy Lingxiao was deeply worried. Evan Chu, Yvonne Xuan, and Serena Frost had all vanished without a trace—highly unusual. She sent people everywhere to search, but no one found them.

Even the disciples guarding the mountain gate hadn't seen them leave. That left only one possibility—Evan Chu must've entered the forbidden ground. Once inside, no one ever comes out; it's been strictly forbidden in Dream Spirit Sanctuary for tens of thousands of years.

But now, with Evan Chu and the other two inside, Fairy Lingxiao couldn't help but worry. Linfeng was her first and only man—she couldn't just watch him vanish from her side. Yet the dangers of the forbidden ground were unknown, leaving her hesitant.

It wasn't that she feared death—if she could die with Evan Chu, she'd have no regrets. But Dream Spirit Sanctuary couldn't function without her. If something happened to her, the consequences would be dire; last time, when her Immortal Infant was destroyed, Fairy Luoxia had to take her place.

She was a total outsider when it came to managing the sanctuary's affairs—many disciples didn't listen to her, obeying only on the surface. The anxiety in her heart was something only she could understand.

"Linfeng, you really are someone I can't go a day without worrying about. If you come back, I'm definitely going to give you a good scolding—so you know what it means to make someone worry." Fairy Lingxiao said helplessly...
