Boarzilla’s Rage

2/14/2026

Yvonne Zhu finished her sentence, but noticed that Evan Lin still wouldn’t spare her a single glance. He was completely ignoring her, which left Yvonne’s face tinged with irritation.

“Just wait, you’ll be crying soon enough!”

Yvonne Zhu spat out her threat. In the Zhu family, she was a little princess who could do whatever she wanted, and everyone she met outside always bent over backwards for her. Being ignored by this ordinary kid over and over made her seriously annoyed.

Boarzilla stared silently at the giant iron cage. Inside the cage, in the darkness, a pair of vertical pupils slowly opened, their gaze cold and menacing.

Then, the patch of darkness began to squirm as snakeskin slid back and forth inside the cage. The massive snake’s head slowly poked out from the bars.

“An African giant python…” someone in the stands stared blankly at the creature crawling out of the cage.

The python was unbelievably huge, its body covered in pitch-black scales. The moment it crawled out, a strong stench of decay wafted from its body.

The giant python coiled its body, raising its head high and staring down at Boarzilla from above.

“With a python this huge, can’t it just swallow that boar whole in one bite?” Quite a few people in the audience swallowed nervously as they watched.

“This second round should be over quick. That thing could finish the boar in a single gulp, right?” Chester Zhang muttered.

The African giant python slowly slithered toward Boarzilla. Boarzilla dug its hind hooves into the ground, showing not a hint of fear.

The python’s tail lashed out at Boarzilla. Boarzilla snorted, its small eyes burning red, and charged straight into the attack.

With a loud thud, the tail struck Boarzilla’s body, sending it rolling to the side. It toppled over, but quickly scrambled up on its little hooves, totally unharmed, and charged the python again.

The python flicked its tongue, tail whipping over and over, knocking Boarzilla down again and again.

Boarzilla refused to give up, snorting loudly. The python’s tail wasn’t strong enough to hurt it. The crowd watched as Boarzilla got batted around like a ball, flying across the arena only to charge right back in for more.

Seeing the boar keep charging despite being knocked around, the python got annoyed. Feeling provoked, it suddenly wrapped its massive tail around Boarzilla the next time it rushed in.

“It’s going for a strangle!”

“African giant pythons rely on pure muscle—they squeeze their prey to death, then swallow it whole once it stops breathing.”

“I bet that boar monster’s got no chance.”

On the platform, everyone watched Boarzilla get completely wrapped up by the python, just waiting for the show to end.

Quite a few people who’d already lost all their points stared, just waiting to watch the python eat.

Boarzilla was tightly wrapped up by the python’s body, roaring furiously and struggling to break free.

But the python kept squeezing tighter and tighter. Boarzilla couldn’t escape for now; its efforts were useless.

The stalemate dragged on. The python’s vertical pupils stared coldly at Boarzilla, wrapped in layer after layer, flicking its tongue and waiting for it to die.

“Let’s see how cocky you are now,” Yvonne Zhu said with a laugh, glancing at Evan Lin and giving a cold snort.

Just now, when the python kept whipping Boarzilla but couldn’t hurt it, Yvonne had been a little anxious. But seeing this scene now, she finally relaxed.

“Boss, what do we do now?” Shawn Shi’s palms were sweaty—things looked bad.

Evan Lin’s gaze fell on Boarzilla below. The boar’s breathing seemed weak, but its tusks were still tense and ready.

Especially those tiny eyes—they were still full of fierce light.

The stalemate continued.

Five minutes passed.

Boarzilla’s movements gradually slowed. Its head lolled to the side, and its little eyes closed—it looked completely dead.

“It’s dead! We won!”

Everyone who bet on the challengers cheered, faces full of excitement.

Seeing this, the python slowly moved its head over to Boarzilla, tilting its head and sizing it up for a moment before suddenly opening its jaws wide.

Its mouth opened so wide it looked like a well, slowly moving toward Boarzilla to swallow it whole.

Just as half of Boarzilla’s head entered the python’s mouth, the boar—silent until now—suddenly snapped its eyes open, let out a deep growl, and bit down hard on the snake’s tongue.

The python writhed in agony, thrashing wildly as it tried to pull Boarzilla out of its mouth.

Boarzilla roared, tusks thrusting upward, brutally gouging a bloody hole straight through the python’s head.

Hiss—!

The sudden twist made the faces in the stands change instantly.

The python struggled and flung Boarzilla far across the arena, blood spurting everywhere as it writhed in pain.

Boarzilla rolled on the ground, got up, let out an angry snort, and charged even faster with its head down and tusks forward, aiming straight for the python.

Bang!

The python’s body was pinned to the wall. Boarzilla landed a solid hit, quickly retreated, then charged again.

Its tusks slammed into the python again and again, gouging huge holes in its body and tearing out chunks of flesh.

The whole arena went silent.

Under Boarzilla’s repeated attacks, the python finally collapsed, lying motionless on the ground.

Boarzilla, covered in snake blood and panting heavily, fixed its cold little eyes full of killing intent on the third cage.

“The python… just died like that?” The people who thought they’d won jumped up in excitement, but seeing this scene, their faces turned white and they slumped back down in disbelief.

“How did we still lose? That pig’s got to be cursed or something—maybe it’s possessed!” After what just happened, everyone looked at Boarzilla with weird expressions.

“Just dumb luck!” Yvonne Zhu frowned, looking seriously annoyed.

Shawn Shi and Tony Dong both let out a sigh of relief. Everyone couldn’t help but look toward the third cage.

“Just one more cage to go. If Boarzilla takes down whatever’s in there, we get six times our payout!” Shawn’s eyes lit up, rubbing his hands in excitement.

“With the way that boar’s going, it could probably take down a few more. It’s unstoppable—way too fierce!”

“Boss, you really have a unique eye!” Shawn couldn’t help but flatter Evan Lin.

“Mm.”

Evan Lin gave a light grunt, his gaze settling on the third cage with a hint of amusement in his eyes.
